Irena Sendler, Nobel Peace Price nominee, saved over 2,500 Jewish babies and children from the fate of most Warsaw Ghetto Jews

There recently was the death of a 98-year-old lady named Irena Sendler. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an ulterior motive… She KNEW what the Nazi’s plans were for the Jews, (being German).

Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of her tool box she carried, and she also carried in the back of her truck a Burlap sack, (for larger kids). She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers, of course, wanted nothing to do with the dog, and the barking covered the kids/infants noises. During her time and course of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants.

She was caught, and the Nazi’s broke both her legs and arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard.

After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it, and reunited the family. Most, of course, had been gassed. Those kids she helped were placed into foster family homes or adopted. Last year Irena was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize….

She LOST. Al Gore won for doing a slide show on Global Warming.

Possible Collapse of Mexico – Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck talks about how important Mexico is, how large the economy is, how significant Mexico is to the US as a trading partner, an oil supplier, and what serious trouble Mexico is in.

He mentions what he calls the “Perfect Storm” that might bring the United States down.

Here, Beck and Michael Scheuer discuss how Al Quaeda has been studying the fact that the US doesn’t protect it’s borders nor does it check many of the trucks going through the borders. Scheuer brings up a well known fact, that there are a lot of Arabs who sneak across the border alongside the Mexicans. This has been reported on the Canadian border as well.  He says the political elite does not care about protecting Americans.

THIS DAY March 12

Posted by Shiva on March 11, 2009

March 12, 2009: Luton , Britain. Brave soldiers back from Iraq were forced to endure a tirade of abuse yesterday — from hate-filled BRITISH moslems. Fifteen fanatics staged a sickening protest — sanctioned by police — as 200 Royal Anglian troops marched in a welcome home parade.
They wielded banners branding the soldiers butchers, war criminals, murderers, terrorists — and baby killers. They brandished placards showing obscene photos of mutilated children. And they yelled: “Anglian soldiers go to hell.”

The demo triggered fury among thousands of well-wishers who turned out to salute the troops in Luton, Beds.
Two people were arrested in the heated demos. One an 18-year-old man was today charged with racially aggravated harassment. The second aged in his 40s, was handed a fixed penalty notice.

One of those arrested was a man who climbed on to a shopping centre roof to throw a packet of bacon at the fanatics.
