Pro-Palestinian Authority billionaire George Soros, who once said Israeli and American policies fuel anti-Semitism, helps fund the J Street lobby that is sympathetic to Hamas, The Washington Times revealed Saturday. Soros never was a supporter of  Zionist activities, and a biography of him states that Judaism “did not express itself in a sense of tribal loyalty that would have led him to support Israel.”

He has long been rumored to be behind the left-wing political lobby, but J Street previously denied that he contributed money to the group until now.

“George Soros very publicly stated his decision not to be engaged in J Street when it was launched — precisely out of fear that his involvement would be used against the organization,” the J Street website stated before The Times questioned it about Soros. The site immediately was changed to read, “J Street has said it doesn’t receive money from George Soros, but now news reports indicate that he has in fact contributed.”

Times’ reporter Eli Lake said that the newspaper obtained tax forms revealing that Soros and his two children gave J Street nearly a quarter of a million dollars.

Soros originally helped found J Street as an alternative lobby to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), whose pro-Israel polices angered him. He contributed heavily in an attempt to defeat President Bush when he ran for re-election in 2004, telling The New York Times that getting rid of Bush was  the “central focus of my life” and “a matter of life and death.”

Journalist Reveals The PA’s ‘Palestine Plot’

“There’s a method to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas’ ongoing refusal to negotiate seriously with Israel”, journalist Uri Elitzur told Israelnationalnews in an interview – “and unfortunately, his plan has a relatively good plan of succeeding”.

Elitzur laid out the plot in the weekend edition of Hebrew newspaper Mekor Rishon, of which he is one of the editors, last Friday. “The PA’s insistence that it will walk out of the talks if Israel ends the building freeze in Judea and Samaria” he says, “is a political gambit for something Abbas and company are far more interested in: An Israeli agreement on the borders of a Palestinian state before resolving other sensitive issues, such as security, Jerusalem, and PA demands that descendants of Arabs who abandoned Israel in 1948 be allowed to return to their former homes”.

“The strategy is apparent to anyone who bothers to look”, Elitzur says. “Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu knows that the talks are a game, Abbas knows the talks are a game, and both are playing well.” The game, in this case, is to pass the blame for failure of the talks to the other party. U.S. President Barack Obama knows it’s a game, too, Elitzur says – and he also knows how far he can push Israel. “Obama knows that an American president is not a Caesar who can do whatever he wants, and there is a limit to the pressure the White House can impose on Israel.” Given that both Israel and the PA have so many red lines that they dare not cross, the talks were doomed to fail, even before they started, Elitzur says.

So why bother? “Behind this endless game lies an important consideration: What happens the day after the talks fail? What is the alternative plan?” Unlike Israel, Elitzur says, the PA has such a plan: To back Israel into a corner and get Netanyahu to agree to a “shelf agreement” – meaning that most of the impassable issues would be put “on the shelf” for the time being, while the one issue that the PA really wants to see resolved – the borders of the Palestinian state – are decided right now. Tsipi Livni actually agreed to this when she was Prime Minister, Elitzur says.

If the borders between Israel and Palestine are delineated, Elitzur says, the PA can declare an official Palestinian state – one that has a reasonable chance of being accepted by the rest of the world. Contrary to popular thinking, the PA would not be able to get away with declaring a state unilaterally – not after they signed agreement after agreement that specifies negotiations as the only legitimate path to a PA state.

An Arab Israeli has been arrested in the US on suspicion of killing five people and wounding 13 in a stabbing spree that spanned across three US states. Most of the men who were attacked were black and US police said Thursday that they believe the suspect chose victims based on the color of their skin.

Abuelazam is an Arab Israeli citizen who is living in the US with a green card. However, most media outlets in the US who reported the story mentioned that Abuelazam is an Israeli but did not mention that he is an Arab Israeli.

33 year-old Elias Abuelazam was detained late Wednesday in Atlanta while he was trying to board a flight to Tel Aviv. He was arrested at the departure gate, after being paged by a Delta Airlines representative and getting up to identify himself.

Abuelazam is an Arab Israeli citizen who is living in the US with a green card. However, most media outlets in the US who reported the story mentioned that Abuelazam is an Israeli but did not mention that he is an Arab Israeli.

Police suspect Abuelazam is behind the attacks that have taken place over the last two-and-a-half months in Michigan, Ohio and Virginia. It is alleged that his method of operation was to approach a lone man on a city street late at night, ask for directions or help with his car, and then to attack the person viciously, usually with a knife, according to a report on AFP.

Abuelazam is an Arab Israeli citizen who is living in the US with a green card. However, most media outlets in the US who reported the story mentioned that Abuelazam is an Israeli but did not mention that he is an Arab Israeli.

The first attack was in late May in Flint, Michigan, when a 31-year-old black man was stabbed. Over the next two months, 13 more men were attacked by the serial stabber in and around Flint. Five of them died. In early August, three attacks were reported in Leesburg, Virginia, and one in Toledo, Ohio.

I could go on and on…so many sites are reporting variations on “Israeli serial killer arrested….” Sickening. Below, this particularly sagacious observation pretty much sums things up:

“So in today’s climate, if an Arab-Israeli were to be particularly successful, he’d be a Palestinian living in Israel who succeeded. If he was being oppressed, he’d be an Arab minority being oppressed by Israel. But if he stabs somebody, he’s an Israeli.”

My opinion of Abu El Azam? He might be a sicko serial murderer.

However, given the strong record the Muslim world has of being motivated by their jihadi supremacist sentiments, as evidenced by the daily news around the world, it would not suprise me if Abu El Azam wrapped his jihadi motivations in a “serial murderer” package. America suffers regularly from the depradations of serial murders. Keep in mind, the typical serial murderer is an adult male who either preys upon children, women or both. Rarely does such a person murder other men.

This bloody slashing spree might be the beginning of a new strategy devised by various Islamist groups as a way to throw Americans off-balance in order to extend this long night of self-destructive denial regarding the true nature of their enemies.

US Report: Israel Hampers Training of West Bank Forces

A report published on Tuesday by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) in Washington accuses Israel of causing delays in the transfer of weapons, radios, vehicles, helmets and other equipment to the West Bank. These delays, according to the report, are hampering American efforts to train Palestinian Arab security forces in the West Bank.

The report’s purpose is to establish whether the US is getting value for the $392 million it has spent on training and rehabilitating the West Bank security forces since 2007, and was compiled after inquiries with US, Israeli and Arab officials between July 2009 and May 2010.

The report added that Israel publicly praises the effectiveness of security forces which in operate the West Bank, yet still causes delays which make it more difficult for the forces to act fully. For example, the report cites the impounding by Israeli customs of 1,000 AK-47 rifles despite prior approval of their import by the Israeli government. Another example is 1,400 radios (whose entrance into the West Bank for security purposes was previously approved) that US law enforcement authorities were forced to put into storage at a cost of $176,000 to the American taxpayer.

According to the report, there is evidence that that the Palestinian Arab security forces have markedly improved their efficiency, but Israel has blocked a US State Department proposal to set up a specialist counter-terrorist unit within the forces despite repeated calls on the forces to combat armed factions in the West Bank.

The report acknowledges that equipment shipments are frequently approved by Israel, though there can be delays of up to a year. It adds that Israel’s insistence on considering each shipment on a case by case basis also affects what is described as “non-lethal” equipment such as raincoats.

Investigative journalist and author Edwin Black says Sholom Rubashkin’s sentence is completely disproportionate, and backs it up with the facts of the case.

Originally, some people said they wouldn’t mind if kosher butcher Sholom Rubashkin got life in prison and rot behind bars until he dies. Yesterday, June 22, 2010, their wish was fulfilled by U.S. District Chief Judge Linda Reade in a northern Iowa courtroom. Under the stiff sentence, Rubashkin rots in jail essentially until he dies, a 27 year sentence supplemented by five years of probation to the 51-year man—and then he pays $27 million in restitution. Judge Reade’s sentence exceeded even the government’s request of 25 years. Now many people are outraged at the harsh treatment being meted out to Rubashkin and ask in disbelief, “What’s going on?”

In 2005, the day after the anniversary of the destruction of both Temples, (10 Av 5765) Jews were thrown out of their homes in Gush Katif. The US Administration of that time pressured Ariel Sharon relentlessly to do the dirty deed, reminiscent of Nazi Germany’s actions against the Jews of Europe. I watched in horror as innocent Jews sat on their roofs, with huge signs begging the world to help them. The world turned it’s back on them.

One day after this evil decree was fulfilled, Hurricane Katrina formed. We all later witnessed fellow Americans sitting on their roofs, with signs begging the world to help them.

Biden was so insulted by this dastardly act that he stood up the Prime Minister of Israel for 90 minutes and that he and various Obama Administration officials proceeded to lambaste Israel for “insulting” Biden.

Hundreds of newspapers immediately penned editorials denouncing Israel’s grave insult. The essence of it was that Israel had insulted Biden by laying claim to Jerusalem during his visit.
