Anthropology Professor: Look at US Actions, Not Words

Posted by Glezele Vayne on June 15, 2010

BS”D

by Derek Cling

Israel National Radio’s Tamar Yonah recently interviewed Anthropology Professor Francisco Gil-White, who specializes in anti-Semitism, the Arab-Israeli conflict, US geopolitical behavior, and the operation of the Western mass media. He discussed the motives and interplay between the International community, the United States, Iran and the Muslim regimes.

Gil-White who edits the website “Historical and Investigative Research,” where he writes documented articles on geopolitical behavior, with a special emphasis on its repercussions for the State of Israel, explains that the official pronouncements of the United States concerning Iran seem to be one of opposition to that country’s policies, “though, of course, other than words, it’s unclear what exactly the U.S. has been doing in order to harm Iran.”

At the same time, he says, official American representation also leads the public to believe that “the U.S. government is watching over Israel like a guardian angel, making sure that it has its best interests at heart when making geopolitical decisions.

“And then you’ve got an incredibly aggressive push in the last year from the Obama administration demanding that Israel reach a final status agreement with the Palestinian Authority, PLO [and] Fatah, to create a Palestinian state in strategic Israeli territory.”

The common interpretation that makes all these pronouncements consistent with one another, says Gil-White, is one where “Iran is a big danger, but the PLO has nothing to do with Iran and really means to make peace with Israel – and that’s why the U.S., which opposes Iran and has Israel’s best interests at heart, is pushing for a two-state solution between Israel and PLO Fatah.”

Based on his research, however, Gil-White claims that, in fact, the PLO Fatah has a close relationship with Iran. “The U.S. government is obviously aware that this relationship exists, and therefore, when it pushes for a Palestinian state run by PLO Fatah, it is really installing an arm of Iran inside the Jewish state,” says Gil-White.

“There’s no question that the U.S. government, the most powerful actor in the geopolitical arena, is the one leading this process – it knows what it’s doing,” he says. According to Gil-White, the U.S.-led diplomatic “so-called Peace Process” was forced upon Israel, and started with the Madrid conference [in 1991] that Israel reluctantly agreed to while under threat from the United States to lose a lot of its economic support and then led to the Oslo Peace Process. This is “the only reason the PLO is inside Israel borders right now,” he concludes.

Moreover, this process of the so-called diplomatic peace effort is manifest today “in the recent very aggressive diplomacy that the Obama administration has directed against Israel – apparently building Jewish homes in Jerusalem, the capital of the Jewish State, is offensive to the American President.”

Based on his research on HIR, Gil-White also points to the fact that the U.S. does not, in fact, oppose Iran, but rather, supports it. The fact that the “peace” process weakens Israel, and rewards Arab terrorism and Islamic power is not such a contradiction “if you study the last 30 years of geopolitical relationships between the U.S. and Iran,” he says, “Year after year, ever since Ayatollah Khomeini. took power in 1979 — the outbreak of the Islamic revolution — foreign policy has always been designed to strengthen Iran. Of course, the American government’s public declarations are always of enmity towards Iran, but saying something is very cheap – it doesn’t cost anything.”

For many years, the Shah of Iran, Iran’s previous leader who was trying to westernize Iran, was a close ally to of the US government, Gil-White explains, and “the CIA built the Shah’s security service, Chavak, which was infamous for its violence, and its trampling over every single Iranian liberty. It was only in the last couple of years or so of the Shah’s rule that the US seemed to abandon him.” Then-US President Jimmy Carter started to take actions against the Shah, who was supposedly the America’s “westernized” ally because “the US wanted a regime change in Iran, and wanted the mullahs and the Shah out. One hypothesis is that the US had decided to follow a policy of sponsoring Islamic fundamentalism,” he says.

“One of the reasons why doing that was a smart idea in geopolitical terms is that the entire belly of the Soviet Union was populated – the Asian belly of the Soviet Union – with Muslims. Radicalizing those Muslims was a way of destabilizing the Soviet Union and this is something that worked very well in Afghanistan for example,” says Gil-White, “This is where Osama Bin Laden got his start – working for the CIA, training Afghan mujahideen inside the Pakistani border with Afghanistan and they set up a bunch of madrasas where people would be indoctrinated to the most fanatical Islamist ideology, and then they would be sent back into Afghanistan as terrorists to destabilize the Afghan regime – and this is what eventually produced the Soviet invasion in a debilitating war that helped destabilize the Soviet Union. This has actually been confessed to a French magazine by Zbigniew Brzezinski. who was Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser at the time.”

Subtle Holocaust Denial

Posted by Glezele Vayne on January 29, 2010

BS”D

by Rabbi Shafran Avi

Others were persecuted and killed by the Nazis, but only the Jews were to be annihilated.

Never had the appearance of a word on a page so shocked me.  It just made no sense.  Those English letters, in that order, simply didn’t belong there.

It was nearly twenty years ago, in the library of a Jewish day school in Providence where I was teaching at the time.  The word was “Holocaust” and it so discombobulated me because the book I had opened had been published in the late 1800s.

Even stranger, it was an English translation (likely the first one) of the Mishna, the backbone of the Talmud.

After a moment’s reflection on that fact, I realized I hadn’t gone mad.  In context, the word was how the translator had rendered the Hebrew word “olah” – a sacrifice in the times of Jerusalem’s Holy Temple that, unlike all other offerings, was burnt in its entirety on the altar, without any portion set aside for human consumption.  “Holo” in Greek means “entirely”; and “caust” means “burnt.”

Indeed, whoever first applied the word to what occurred on the European continent over the years 1939-1945 may well have chosen it because of its Jewish source.   After all, the Third Reich aimed to rid the world of Jews, considering them the  ultimate, mortal enemy of civilization.  And, when all was tragically said and done, Hitler and his helpers in fact succeeded in murdering nearly two out of every three European Jews – if not an olah, staggeringly, devastatingly close.

Others, to be sure, were persecuted and killed by the Nazis too: Romani (Roma and Sinti peoples), political dissidents, criminals of various sorts, physically and mentally disabled people, Jehova’s Witnesses, homosexuals, Poles and Slavs.

But the “Endlösung” – the “Final Solution” – was for “der Judenfrage” – “the Jewish Question.”  There was no “Romani Question” or “Homosexual Question.”  The Nazis hated many types of people and for a variety of reasons, but they singled out only one group of people for utter destruction.

The Blacks Who Cried Post-Racial Racism by Afrocity

Posted by afrocity on June 30, 2009

Racist 11

The following post was originally posted at Afrocity’s Blog Autographed Letter Signed

A shepherd-boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village,

brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out, “Wolf! Wolf!”

and when his neighbors came to help him, laughed at them for their pains.
The Wolf, however, did truly come at last.

The Shepherd-boy, now really alarmed, shouted in an agony of terror:

“Pray, do come and help me; the Wolf is killing the sheep”;

but no one paid any heed to his cries, nor rendered any assistance.

The Wolf, having no cause of fear, at his leisure lacerated or destroyed the whole flock.
There is no believing a liar, even when he speaks the truth.

-Aesop from “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”

The subject of this post is so hilarious that I was elated when someone finally loaded the following clip from the O’reilly Factor on You Tube.  It is about charges from the African American community that the media being racist in its coverage of recently deceased pop music icon Michael Jackson. I warned you in my Sunday Soliloquy post that this would be coming.  While watching television interviews of African American celebrities who discussed the passing of Michael, I noticed a certain …..ummm…defensiveness whenever they were asked about Michael’s use of prescription drugs, the allegations of pedophilia that were brought against him, or his ever lightening skin complexion.  There is no doubt that Michael Jackson was a very talented artist and like most artists: Van Gogh, Elvis Presley, Picasso, Woody Allen,  Mr. Jackson led a very colorful or colorless life depending on how you look at him. Michael had some issues (you know he did)  and I see nothing wrong with the media bringing up those controversial issues during interviews.  There is nothing racist about it.  Michael’s iconic status is not only about his musical gifts and tremendous dancing ability, it also encompasses our memories of him as a person- a human being who was indisputably talented but like all of us, not without sin or mistakes. The Rabbi Who Conquered Hebron With a Shofar

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 24, 2009

BS”D

From The Jewish Press

Hat tip: Rabbi Tovia Singer, on the recent radio show entitled, PA Peace Plan: Iran to Share Control Over Temple Mount and Kotel

“The story of our people’s return to Machpela after 700 years was best told by Rabbi Shlomo Goren, chief rabbi of the Israel Defense Forces during the 1967 war. Fresh from the liberation of Jerusalem and the Western Wall, he wanted to be among the first Jews to return to the ancient city of the patriarchs. Holding the rank of general, he joined the armed forces stationed at the recently captured Etzion Bloc, on their way to Hebron. On the evening of 28 Iyar, before retiring for the night, he asked to be wakened when the soldiers began their march into Hebron the following day.

The next morning he awoke, only to find himself alone with his driver. Realizing that he had been left behind, he ordered his driver to begin the 20-minute journey into Hebron, expecting to meet the rest of the army en route.

Rabbi Goren thought it peculiar that he hadn’t encountered any Israeli soldiers on the road and assumed that they had already secured the city in record time. Driving into Hebron, he was greeted by the sight of white sheets fluttering from the windows and rooftops of Arab homes. The rabbi theorized that this must be fear of retaliation for their 1929 pogrom in which 67 Jews were massacred and many more wounded.

Leaving his driver and clutching a Torah scroll, Rabbi Goren quickly made his way toward the Herodian walls which now surround Machpela; the Tomb of the Patriarchs. Once inside he blew the shofar, just as he had done 24 hours earlier at the Western Wall. Only afterward did he discover that when he left the Etzion base, the rest of the forces were on the other side of the hill, making plans for the attack on Hebron. The army was astonished to find that its chief rabbi had single-handedly conquered a city of 80,000 Arabs. Jews had finally returned to Hebron and the sacred burial place of their patriarchs!?”

Notes found at WeJew on this video: “… this video is dated – that Sharon and Olmert became betrayers of their own words in this video – and that the Shalhevet shuk neighborhood was violently destroyed by the Israeli government itself. However, the number of Jewish families has continued to expand despite the efforts of the far left-wing in Israel to remove all Jewish presence from our ancient city – the second most holy city in Jewish tradition.”

Ron Liddle of The Spectator and His “Take” on Hebron

THE SPECTATOR.CO.UK published an article entitled,  “You Get Your Film, and Go Home” by Ron Liddle on 4 April, 2007. I know, We’re right on top of things. Well, “Schmoozing” is an opinion site, not necessarily an up-to-the-minute news site. Neither of us gets paid enough for that.

If you want the latest, I…uhm, really don’t know who you could count on in the MSM. Sorry. They sometimes have some of the latest. As for it’s veracity, that’s another — story.

Back to Mr. Liddle’s piece, below are a few of the more notable salvos, er, paragraphs, found on page two of his article. (Note to self, be kind. Mr. Liddle did admit to feeling like an imbecile — bottom of page 1. Knowing there is a problem is, after all, half the battle.) Read the rest of this entry »

A Palestinian History Book

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 20, 2009

BS”D

by Tom Mountain (a columnist for The Jewish Advocate)

A whole group of people was created overnight.

“Show me a history book of the Palestinians,” retorted Miriam Levinger to this novice student journalist over two decades ago in Kiryat Arba, in Judea, otherwise known as the southern half of the West Bank.

In 1968, Mrs. Levinger, wife of Rabbi Moshe Levinger, the leader of the Gush Emunim movement, had, with the tacit support of the Israeli government, spearheaded the return of Jews to the Hebron area. And thus came Kiryat Arba, a thriving modern Jewish township overlooking Hebron, that sacred Biblical city where Arabs had massacred the centuries-old Jewish community in 1929. The Levingers had moved there to try to set things right by reestablishing a Jewish presence in Hebron.

On October 31, 1998, in violation of his prior campaign promises, Benyamin Netanyahu signed away the vast majority of Chevron (Hebron) to Yassir Arafat.

On October 31, 1998, in violation of his prior campaign promises, Benyamin Netanyahu signed away the vast majority of Chevron (Hebron) to Yassir Arafat.

By the time I met her in 1983, Miriam Levinger, once of Brooklyn, had already been in Judea for over fifteen years. She was there to stay. Not only that, but, she assured me, her children – she eventually had eleven – would inevitably branch out to help create more settlements in Judea and Samaria (the northern half of the West Bank).

Back to the Palestinian history book, or lack there of.

Mrs. Levinger elaborated on the premise that a Palestinian history book did not exist because the very concept of a Palestinian people did not exist until the Arab nations and their proxy, the PLO, chose to invent the Palestinian national movement in 1964. It was all a propaganda ploy to attack Israel and challenge Jewish claims to the land.

Tough, no-nonsense rhetoric from an Orthodox mother who was compelled to walk through Hebron with a Uzi submachine gun for protection. Miriam Levinger was absolutely correct in her simple analysis of the situation. But she was not alone.

“Palestine is a term the Zionists invented…. Our country for centuries was part of Syria,” remarked Arab leader Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi to the British Peel Commission in 1937. Mr. Abdul-Hadi knew what he was talking about.

I found this fascinating comment at Haaretz online, under their article, Jewish extremism: How real is the threat?

To: Avraham Goldberg and all readers.

The Temple Mount is not holy to the Muslims. It is merely a trick in their battle to destroy the Jewish People.

The Dome of the Rock was built by Caliph Abd al-Malik in 687 as a gift to the Jewish People. Caliph built the Dome, as a place of prayer for the Jews till the Temple would be rebuilt.

It only became a Muslim ‘holy site’ in 1939 by order of the anti-Semitic Mufti of Jerusalem.

May G-D rebuild the Temple speedily in our days!

There is No Such Thing as Palestinian People

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 11, 2009

BS”D

There are Arabs who live in a region once called Palestine. There was never a nation called the Palestinian people. This is a modern day myth, created for political purposes…nay, for purposes of stealth warfare. Before the State of Israel was reborn, Jews were called Palestinians.

Palestine Postef816ac29071

The native people of this land never called it Palestine. It was either Judea, or Samaria, or the Galilee, or the Negev. It was Eretz Israel.  Romans, famed for gate-crashing raids, invasions, usurpations of native peoples, these Romans named it Palestina as one last dig — against the most troublesome province they’d ever conquered — Judea, who refused to submit to them for any appreciable length of time. This was extremely costly for Rome. In a parting kiss of death, as they murdered, enslaved and exiled most of us, in an attempt to permanently sever us from our land and hopefully destroy us from the face of the earth, they renamed the land Palastina.

The territory is still not a nation called Palestine. Now it is the “disputed territories”, despite the delusions of Arab mapmakers. Don’t believe me?

WorldNetDaily’s Joseph Farah wrote an article entitled “Palestinian People Do Not Exist

Here’s part of a post at Almost Eden (great photo BTW). I’d love to get my hands on a copy of the article from the Trouw.  As far as I can tell, their internet archives only go back as far as 1992.

“On March 31, 1977 the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. His statements were also later published in the Boston Herald and you’ll find them at various Internet sites as well. Here’s what he said:

‘The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism.

‘For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.”

How does Jordan feel about this statement?

‘King Abdullah in 1948: “Palestine and Jordan are one…

‘Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly on February 2, 1970: “Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate”.

‘Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan in 1980: “The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture.”

‘King Hussein in 1981: “The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan.’

And here’s what a few Arab-Americans have to say:

‘Distinguished Arab-American Princeton University historian Philip Hitti testified before the Anglo-American Committee, ‘There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history.’

However, there were "Indian Nations" when Europeans came to occupy North America, and that can be proven without a doubt. They're still with us, their sovereign life restricted to a mere shadow of what it was when Europeans arrived with a mind to steal from these innocent, overly trusting people.

Audio: Those Who Fought to Create the State of Israel

Posted by Glezele Vayne on April 29, 2009

BS”D

datiindependencea58e281172d2

During the first segment of this insightful radio show, Yehudah HaKohen interviews Zev Golan. Discussed are the roles played by the Jewish underground, the Irgun (Etzel) and Lechi (Stern Group), both of whom fought the British Empire in order to create the modern State of Israel. The standard line we read in most history books is that these were “terrorist” groups. However, the existential threats posed by the British, even their cooperation with the Nazis, is rarely discussed.

It is incorrect to claim that the State of Israel was “created by the U.N.” or G-d forbid, brought about as the result of the murder of over 6 million Jews by the Nazis. We were well on our way to establishing our nation once again. Serious efforts had begun in the mid and late 1800’s, and we had never let go of our longing for our homeland, as evidenced by our prayers claiming Jerusalem and Zion as our own at least 3 times a day for nearly 2,000 years prior to this beginning of our redemption. I believe the Nazi murders were a failed attempt by forces, human and otherwise, to abort our rebirth.

Do we give Pharoah any credit for our redemption from Mitzraim? No. Our prayers give credit where credit is due…HKB”H brought us out with a strong arm.

Do we claim that a King Cyrus brought about our regathering from Babylon? He was a willing instrument of HKB”H.

We recognize that HKB”H was the One in charge during those returns to Eretz Yisrael. How much more of a miracle is this third return…how much more should it be obvious to us, that He is still in charge??

B”H, we won back our land, stolen from us so long ago.

Recommended reading: Free Jerusalem by Zev Golan. Mordechai Taub provides political analysis at the 24.55 mark. It’s all good though.

The Silent Exodus Of One Million Jewish Refugees

Yet another refutation of the false claims of Mahmud Ahmadinejad. The Arab world is as guilty as any of the nations of the world in driving the Jewish people to the inevitable conclusion that we had to reclaim our sovereignty in our historical homeland. THIS DAY April 23

Posted by Shiva on April 22, 2009

By flooding the streets of their enemy with heroin, the Jihadis hope to addict and kill our youth, destroy society and cause massive social problems.

The drug trade has helped Islamist terrorist organizations recruit new members by citing drug abuse they have inflicted as an indication of Western degeneracy, and then, as a justification that such corrupt societies should be destroyed.

“We are making these drugs for Satan America and the Jews. If we cannot kill them with guns, so we will kill them with drugs.”

April 22 2009: New York, USA . Prosecutors unveiled new charges Tuesday against an Afghan man accused of conspiring to finance Taliban terrorist activities. Haji Juma Khan was charged with narco-terrorism, conspiracy to fund and financing terrorism in a superseding indictment unsealed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan. Khan, 55, was handed over to U.S. officials by Indonesia and brought to the United States in October.

He initially faced a single charge of conspiring to distribute narcotics with intent to support a terrorist organization. U.S. authorities say he is among the first defendants to be prosecuted under a 2006 federal narco-terrorism statute.

Since 1999, Khan has led an international opium, morphine and heroin trafficking group that arranged to sell morphine base, an opium derivative that is processed into heroin, in quantities as large as 40 metric tons — enough to supply the U.S. heroin market for two years

Heroin addicts are not victims, as the true victims of heroin addiction are only the innocent men, women and children of Afghanistan and Iraq who are being blown up, killed and left limbless by Islamist terrorist bombs funded by the heroin trade in the West

The other victims of heroin are young soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan against those Islamist terrorists who are being blown up and shot by weapons funded by heroin grown in Afghanistan, smuggled into the West via Pakistan, Albania and Turkey and sold in the West.

Heroin addiction is tantamount to treason, as the Taliban and Al Qaeda cannot operate without the money from heroin.

The old response to heroin addiction was to treat the addict as a victim and see the problem only in relation to the individual. The time has come to deal with the issues of who is bringing the heroin into the West, how they are bringing it into the West and why the governments have not targeted those communities who they know are primarily responsible for bringing drugs into the West.

The Western Goverment rewards the Islamists growing and smuggling the heroin into the West, it allows the Islamist terrorists to make fortunes from heroin smuggling to fund the jihad, it enriches the moslem gangsters in the West who smuggle it into Europe and America and it rewards the junkie and punishes the victims of their crimes.

While heroin flow through the veins of junkies

Blood flows through the streets of Afghanistan

THIS DAY April 22

Todays Khutba خطبة (Islamic prayer sermon)

Al-A’raf 7:80-82
[80]
We also (sent) Lut: he said to his people: “Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?

[81]
“For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.”
[82]

And his people gave no answer but this: they said, “Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!”

The Quran forbids any sexual relationship other than in a marriage between a man and a woman. Many homosexual men and women claim that they are born with their sexual preferences and that they have no choice. Although this point is very much in dispute in the medical world, it has no support in the Quran. Even then, irrespective of the nature of homosexuality, this matter would not affect the laws spelled out clearly in the Quran .

We know that this life is a test. Everyone of us has his/her own test. For example someone may be born blind, but that person is expected to live his/her life according to God’s law. Others are born poor, short, tall, weak, missing fingers, having big nose…etc but all of them are expected to follow God’s law. Some men or women may never marry in their life, or spend part of their life without a spouse. As per the Quran they still have to live a chaste life and avoid any sexual contacts outside a marriage. They have to suppress their sexual feelings to follow God’s law. It is a major test and not an easy one for many. Only those who submit to God will do everything they can to follow His law. They know that their salvation and eternal happiness rests in doing so.

Since God condemns homosexuality, then we have to believe that a man or a woman with homosexual feelings is expected to behave like any other human being and follows God’s laws if he/she truely believes in them. He/she shall resist his/her feelings , maintains abstinence , use all available resources of help including medical, social and behavioral therapies to overcome their behavior and feelings. They should pray to God to help them getting over it and submit to God’s law that sees homosexuality as gross sin

The end result for not giving up homosexuality was the destruction of entire cities

Hud 11:82-83
[82]
When Our decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstone’s hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer.

[83]
Marked as from thy Lord: nor are they ever far from those who do wrong!

Bodies of 7 Gays in Baghdad

Iraqi Militia Killing Gay Men with Painful Anal Glue Torture

Buoying the theory that it’s the “anal sex” part of being gay that really infuriates homophobes, Iraqi militants are reportedly gluing shut the anuses of suspected gays. Repeat: Gluing shut their anuses. With a glue so resilient, you need surgery to remove it.

April 22, 2009: Baghdad Iraq. Translated from the news network Al Arabiya:
A prominent Iraqi human rights activist says that Iraqi militia have deployed a painful form of torture against homosexuals by closing their anuses using ‘Iranian gum.’ … Yina Mohammad told Alarabiya.net that, ‘Iraqi militias have deployed an unprecedented form of torture against homosexuals by using a very strong glue that will close their anus.’
According to her, the new substance ‘is known as the American hum, which is an Iranian-manufactured glue that if applied to the skin, sticks to it and can only be removed by surgery. After they glue the anuses of homosexuals, they give them a drink that causes diarrhea. Since the anus is closed, the diarrhea causes death.
Videos of this form of torture are being distributed on mobile cellphones in Iraq.’ According to this human rights activist, for the past 3 weeks a crackdown on homosexuals has been going on based on a religious decree that demands their death; dozens have been targeted. She says that the persecution of homosexuals is not confined to the Shiite clerics.

Some Sunni leaders have also declared the death penalty for sodomy on satellite channels.
