Anarchists, Arabs Caught Burning Olive Trees

Posted by Glezele Vayne on November 7, 2010

by Maayan Miskin of Israel National News

Foreign anarchists and Palestinian Authority Arabs were caught on film Sunday setting fire to a wooded area outside the Jewish town of Bat Ayin, between Jerusalem and Hevron. The fire damaged many plants, including olive trees.

Residents who witnessed the incident said they believe the group was planning to blame the arson attack on the Jews of Bat Ayin.

Arab Ex-Con Would-be Convert’s Miraculous Story

 by Hillel Fendel

As more details on the story of an Palestinian Authority Arab ex-con on his way to converting to Judaism are revealed, the more astonishing it becomes.

Yaniv Ben-David, an Arab from the PA territories and Haifa whose official name until recently was Busmon Abu-Ras, found Judaism and G-d while serving a 12-year term in prison. The full miraculous story has come out in three interviews, including one with Arutz-7’s Hizky Ezra [which can be seen here, in Hebrew] and another on Radio Kol Chai with the head of the Civil Administration, Brig.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai, known as Poli. Read the rest of this entry »

US Report: Israel Hampers Training of West Bank Forces

Posted by Glezele Vayne on July 27, 2010

by Eldad Benari of Israel National News

A report published on Tuesday by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) in Washington accuses Israel of causing delays in the transfer of weapons, radios, vehicles, helmets and other equipment to the West Bank. These delays, according to the report, are hampering American efforts to train Palestinian Arab security forces in the West Bank.

The report’s purpose is to establish whether the US is getting value for the $392 million it has spent on training and rehabilitating the West Bank security forces since 2007, and was compiled after inquiries with US, Israeli and Arab officials between July 2009 and May 2010.

The report added that Israel publicly praises the effectiveness of security forces which in operate the West Bank, yet still causes delays which make it more difficult for the forces to act fully. For example, the report cites the impounding by Israeli customs of 1,000 AK-47 rifles despite prior approval of their import by the Israeli government. Another example is 1,400 radios (whose entrance into the West Bank for security purposes was previously approved) that US law enforcement authorities were forced to put into storage at a cost of $176,000 to the American taxpayer.

According to the report, there is evidence that that the Palestinian Arab security forces have markedly improved their efficiency, but Israel has blocked a US State Department proposal to set up a specialist counter-terrorist unit within the forces despite repeated calls on the forces to combat armed factions in the West Bank.

The report acknowledges that equipment shipments are frequently approved by Israel, though there can be delays of up to a year. It adds that Israel’s insistence on considering each shipment on a case by case basis also affects what is described as “non-lethal” equipment such as raincoats.

Sugar and spice and…machine guns!?!

Posted by Glezele Vayne on June 8, 2010

We in the West grew up singing poems like —

What are little boys made of?
Snips and snails, and puppy dog tails.
That’s what little boys are made of.
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice and all things nice.
That’s what little girls are made of.

And the poems the children in the so-called PA areas sing?

What am I doing here while my enemy is on my ancestors’ land?
I want to defend, I want to fight,
I want to carry a machine gun and a rifle.

And tomorrow, when the war starts,
I won’t care about you [my enemy], or about the West.
And tomorrow when the war starts,
I won’t care about you [my enemy], or about the West.
And we shall strike Israel, we shall strike Israel,
And return you [to us], land of my ancestors;
And return you [to us], land of my ancestors.

‘Abusive Soldiers’ were PA Teens

Posted by Glezele Vayne on July 27, 2009

by Maayana Miskin

(IsraelNN.com) A group of young IDF soldiers who staged a raid near Bethlehem and invaded homes turned out to be not Israeli soldiers at all, but rather, a group of Palestinian Authority Arab teenagers. It is unclear why the teens were pretending to be soldiers, and whether their motives were criminal or political.

The incident took place on Friday night in the village of Marah Rabah, according to the Bethlehem-based Maan news agency. The five young “soldiers” managed to put a street under curfew and break into multiple homes before they were discovered.

Jerusalem Arab caught aiding city’s takeover

Posted by Glezele Vayne on July 21, 2009

By Aaron Klein

JERUSALEM – A Jerusalem court yesterday sentenced an Arab resident of the city to 42 months in prison after he was convicted of working in Israel’s capital as an agent of the Palestinian Authority’s General Intelligence Service.

WND exclusively reported last year the PA had established an intelligence apparatus in Jerusalem in part to stop Israeli Arabs from selling their homes to Jews in strategic areas of the city, according to informed security sources.

The Jerusalem court sentenced Muhammad Jayusi, 21, who had been convicted of working for the PA’s intelligence service since 2006. He was also convicted of illegally carrying arms.

According to a security source with knowledge of the case, Jayusi was involved with helping the PA discover which Jerusalem Arabs were vulnerable to possibly selling their homes to Jews.

In May, the PA sentenced three Arabs to death for selling their Jerusalem property to Jews. According to Palestinian sources, PA President Mahmoud Abbas personally had signed all death warrants.

“Palestine 2.0 is a monster with only one purpose, to create Holocaust 2.0.” — Sultan Knish’s Latest

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 19, 2009

Dawid Walid, the Executive Director of CAIR in Michigan has challenged Walid Shoebat, claiming he never was a member of the PLO. In the following video, Mr.Shoebat provides evidence of his authenticity, and, since turning his life around, of his concern for Americans. Watch and decide for yourselves.

More importantly, watch and learn how Islam views the “kuffar”, how Muslims are allowed to lie to us, to use any means necessary to install sharia around the world. Then, ask yourselves, would the “Greatest Generation” be proud of how we’ve squandered our inheritance, the one they fought, sacrificed and died for???

Sultan Knish has more cold water to splash on our complacent, movie doped faces. Wake up or you will lose everything that means anything to you!

I’m beginning to think all I need to do every day is read Sultan Knish and then come to this site and go “What he said.”  There’s not a word that should be removed or that needs to be added. Having said that, I’m going to extract some quotes in an effort to tempt you to click the SK link and read on.

Who Needs a Palestinian State? by Sultan Knish

Some salient quotes (it’s hard to choose):

“Everyone, and by “everyone” I mean the denizens of Washington D.C.’s and Brussel’s government buildings, agrees that we need a Palestinian state.”

“To those who argue that a Palestinian State will build regional stability, the rational person must ask, how in the world has any of this contributed to regional stability?”

“Palestine was never a country or a state. It was the name given by the Roman occupation forces to a region they were administering, a region far larger than modern day Israel.”

“Israel did not come into being out of pity for the millions of Jews killed in the Holocaust. Nor did it come into being thanks to US aid or support. Both of those however are common myths.”

“17 years after Oslo, the Palestinian Arabs have built nothing but death and destruction. Worse yet they’ve taken everything that was given to them and turned it into either a weapon or a bribe.”

“It is not a natural creature, because no Palestinian state ever existed throughout history. It is an artificial state whose existence has only one purpose. The destruction of Israel.”

“And that answers our question at last. Who needs a Palestinian state? Someone who is either ignorant, foolish or needs to destroy Israel.”

“The Two State Solution is not a formula for any kind of stability or end to the violence. It’s meant to take the violence to a whole new level. It is a formula for the destruction of Israel.”

“Palestine is not a state. It was never a state. It will never be a state. It is currently ruled by two factions who have both disowned a negotiated Palestinian state in favor of the destruction of Israel. It is not a country, it is a weapon.”

“Palestine is a gun aimed at the head of Israel with one goal, its destruction. Palestine is a gun aimed at the head of every Jew in the world, legitimizing the worst and ugliest kinds of bigotry.”

“Palestine is death. It exists only as a form of living death by a population taught to see themselves as willing martyrs to the bomb belt from birth.”

“The Cult of Death in Palestine and the war against Israel is only a preview for the West of things to come. Palestine is not a place, it is hate and homicide boiled down into myth. Palestine is not only in Israel. It is in Paris and London. It is in Madrid and Detroit. It is in Sydney and Moscow.”

U.S. Court: Arafat Responsible for Terrorist Murders

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 15, 2009

by Maayana Miskin

(IsraelNN.com) A United States court ruled Thursday evening that the Palestinian Authority must compensate the children of Yaron and Efrat Unger, who were murdered in a terrorist attack in 1996. Former PA Chairman Yasser Arafat bore responsibility for the slayings, the court determined.

The court ruled that the couple’s children should receive the $116 million that they were awarded in a previous verdict.

Yaron, 26, and Efrat, 25, were shot and killed by a PA terrorist as they drove near the city of Beit Shemesh, southwest of Jerusalem and west of Gush Etzion. Their infant son was in the car but survived the attack.

The couple was survived by their children Dvir and Yishai, who were two years old and nine months old respectively at the time that their parents were murdered.

Yaron held U.S. citizenship, a fact that later allowed his family to seek damaged for the killing. Dvir and Yishai filed suit five years ago under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1991, which allows foreign terrorist groups to be sued for the deaths of U.S. citizens.

Report: Obama’s Master Plan for the Middle East

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 7, 2009

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

U.S. President Barack Obama told Jordan’s King Abdullah two weeks ago to meet with leading Muslim Arab countries and persuade them to accept changes in the Saudi 2002 Initiative, according to the London-based Arabic language Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper.

The report reflects the president’s swift action on the Middle East since he was elected last November.

President Obama’s major proposed alteration in the Saudi peace plan is for Arab countries to grant citizenship to approximately five million Arabs who are descendants of former Israelis while allowing them the right to move to a new Palestinian Authority country.

The Saudi plan calls for them to be allowed to immigrate to Israel, a suggestion that virtually every Israeli leader categorically rejects. President Obama also reportedly told the king that he wants the United Nations flag raised over holy sites in eastern Jerusalem, where the PA would have total sovereignty under the Saudi plan.

Al Quds did not specify any other “concessions” to Israel but said that Arab countries should consider “other changes,” none of which were specified.

Oy vey. All this tsuris. Az mah la’asot?

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 6, 2009

For my non-Jewish readers, that translates something like, “Holey Moley, all this trouble.” Now slap your hand on your forehead, gasp a bit and say “So, now what do we do?” There a little Yiddish and Hebrew lesson all in one, complete with a bit of Middle Eastern drama.

Okay, so here’s some things to do that might help. I have just learned that the phones in Washington, DC are ringing off the walls with supporters of the two-state solution (i.e. the “piece plan”).  Sidenote: This is just the PLO’s “phased” plan of destruction, outlined in their covenant which, BTW, has not been changed one iota.

The fact that the phones are ringing off the walls supporting the two-state suicide plan does not mean there are more detractors of Israel than there are supporters in America. The government, eh…kind of wishy-washy, but the people are known for their overwhelming support of Israel. There are many Americans who are misinformed, due to a lack of accurate information on the MSM, but I believe this phone ringing thing I am hearing about is mostly evidence of a difference between liberal and conservative lifestyles.

Liberals (the hard left, not old school liberals) are overwhelmingly pro-Pali, (they like anything totalitarian, but that’s a whole ‘nuther book) and politics is pretty much their religion. Conservatives are usually busy with family and true religious obligations, and are not front and center 110% focused on politics.

So, we need to plotz the kids in front of a video game or a movie for a few minutes, catch our breath, get ourselves to the phone or on the computer and make ourselves heard. The vast majority of Americans are hearty supporters of Israel, but our senators and representatives won’t act on our convictions unless we tell them what they are. I know, they follow polls on everything else, so why not this? Maybe the polls aren’t accurate? I’m being optimistic. One letter, email or phone call, in their eyes, usually represents 20 people, because typically, only 1 out of 20 people bother writing, emailing or calling (leftists excluded).

For a wealth of information, or if you want to contact David Bedein:

Mr. Bedein can bring experts over on the Fatah to the US,  Canada and Europe. If anyone would like to help bring these experts over to speak, Mr. Bedein can find sponsors. He  emphasizes that the Fatah is still at war with Israel and it hasn’t changed. Despite the many words uttered by Yasir Arafat regarding the “peace of the brave”, besides the handshake with Yitzhak Raibn, the PA parliament never approved any peace agreement between Israel and the PA.

Jay Shapiro aired a relevant radio show on the 3rd of this month, discussing the basis of the Arab/Israeli conflict. Small portions are a a bit outdated, in that Mr. Shapiro speculates incorrectly (I’m sure he’s disappointed) on how Prime Minister Netanyahu will respond to US pressure for immediate territorial concessions.

America Moves Towards Abandonment of Israel

Posted by Glezele Vayne on March 18, 2009

That headline certainly took me from my Schijveschuurder high. Here I was, thrilled that the terror victims in Israel were banding together and maybe even getting some results, some respect for all their tremendous suffering.

And that’s still really good, very important.

But this latest Arutz Sheva report by the INN staff is causing no small amount of dismay.

“In an interview on Israel National Radio’s Weekend Edition with host Tamar Yonah, Hagman said.’The Obama administration is no friend to Israel, is no friend to the Jews in America and is no friend to democracy or freedom in America. Just by his very appointments, we can see him filling positions of power with people who are anti-Semitic, who want to see Israel essentially dissolved as a nation, if not by diplomacy, then certainly by war.'”

Sounds like an important interview. I’m going to go have a listen.

Your federal government at work … for Palestinians

Posted by avideditor on April 6, 2008

I find this deeply disturbing. I hope people can change this. Write to your representatives and make a difference. Have our government stop giving terrorist money to kill jews. This is like the US building Gas chambers for Hitler during WW2.

Your federal government at work … for Palestinians: ”

‘Consistent with current foreign policy,

certain transactions otherwise prohibited …

are being authorized …’

The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has determined that Hamas, a terrorist entity whose property and interests in property are blocked under three separate OFAC-administered economic sanctions programs, has a property interest in the transactions of the Palestinian Authority. Accordingly, pursuant to the Global Terrorism Sanctions Regulations, 31 C.F.R. Part 594, the Terrorism Sanctions Regulations, 31 C.F.R. Part 595, and the Foreign Terrorist Organizations Sanctions Regulations, 31 C.F.R. Part 597, U.S. persons are prohibited from engaging in transactions with the Palestinian Authority unless authorized, and may not transfer, pay, withdraw, export or otherwise deal in any assets in which the Palestinian Authority has an interest unless authorized. Consistent with current foreign policy, certain transactions otherwise prohibited pursuant to the Regulations are being authorized by general license to facilitate limited transactions by U.S. persons with the Palestinian Authority. General licenses or statements of licensing policy will be issued as appropriate to authorize additional transactions with the Palestinian Authority or to indicate limited circumstances under which other transactions may be considered for favorable licensing treatment on a case-by-case basis. Information on complying with specific aspects of these general licenses, including a list relevant to compliance with General License No. 4(b), is available on OFAC’s website.

And lest you think ‘certain [otherwise prohibited] transactions’ are merely being ‘authorized,’ think again. They’re being encouraged, promoted and assisted… all over our federal
dot-GOV. Here’s just one thread, in addition to that Treasury Department loophole.

Yes, you can do business in the West Bank and Gaza! Dozens of American firms have established agencies and distributorships, and Palestinian consumers have a strong preference for a wide variety of U.S. goods and services.

Many American companies have reoriented their marketing efforts to acknowledge the Palestinian market as culturally, economically, and commercially distinct from the Israeli market.

The U.S. Commercial Service in Jerusalem strongly encourages American exporters wishing to market their goods in the West Bank & Gaza to use local Palestinian agents and distributors….

We can help you find well qualified Palestinian agents and distributors for your products.

…. The U.S. Commercial Service in Jerusalem offers invaluable assistance to U.S. companies seeking to export products and services to the West Bank and Gaza and expand their business in the market. We have developed excellent contacts with private sector representatives, and are able to provide U.S. companies with necessary introductions, market reports and guidance to facilitate doing business in the West Bank and Gaza.

So … In addition to directly funding the Palestinian Authority [$150 million already released + $405 million more in the US.gov pipeline] our government is in the business of promoting doing business … with the Palestinians. There are tons of U.S. government programs; I’m just starting to scratch the surface.

The Department of Commerce will not only help U.S. companies do business in the terror-tories, it’s also out there soliciting Palestinians to do business with us! Consider for example this Reverse Gold Key program at the United States of America Department of Commerce website. Federal employees (need I mention that they are paid with your tax dollars?) will bend over backwards and hold your hand … if you are Palestinian.

Just READ THIS. You’ll flip (I did).

Looking for a U.S. partner?

If you are a Palestinian importer or agent looking for a U.S. manufacturer, or a Palestinian manufacturer with an innovative technology looking for a U.S. partner for joint R and D or product development,
we offer you the Gold Key USA.

Gold Key USA is the domestic version of the Gold Key Matching Service. It is designed to match Palestinian companies traveling to the U.S. with pre-screened, pre-qualified U.S. exporters or U.S. partners located in a specific area.

The fee for the service varies by location.

U.S. Commercial Service Trade Specialists at our Export Assistance Centers (EAC’s) will provide you with:

  • three to five appointments with pre-screened U.S. companies;
  • a market briefing;
  • office space for the day of scheduled appointments;
  • domestic use of fax, telephone and internet;
  • assistance arranging hotel accommodations;
  • interpretation and transportation services for an additional fee;
  • immediately contacting you or our office upon receipt of the preliminary assessment form to ensure that he/she has complete understanding of the types of suppliers the Gold Key USA client wants to meet;
  • accompanying the Gold Key USA client on scheduled appointments if requested.

The market briefing is a consultation by a trade specialist about the industry market conditions in the USEAC coverage area for the product or service you are seeking to purchase.

The delivery time for this service is approximately five weeks from receipt of payment.

The most effective Gold Key USA results require your substantial involvement and follow-up. We strongly suggest that you work closely with the Commercial Specialist at the U.S. Commercial Service in Jerusalem and the Trade Specialist in the USEAC to clearly outline the type of international partner that you believe will be most useful to your company and establish an effective strategy for continuing communication with potential international partners.

If you are interested in this service, please go to our ‘Meet our Staff’ section to send a message to one of our specialists.

Just more thing before I go back to doing my taxes (don’t let the irony escape you). See the top link here, on the left, where it says ‘New!’ in red?
