Palestinian Hate-Education Continues

Palestinian Hate-Education Continues: “Peggy Shapiro
Apr 02, 2008
American Thinker

‘Palestinian education and propaganda are more dangerous to Israel than Palestinian weapons.’ Ariel Sharon, November 18, 2004

Acknowledging that without a population educated to accept peace, no other negotiations or concessions were meaningful, the U.S. President set forth, ‘A Performance-Based Roadmap to a Permanent Two-State Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.’ (April 30, 2003) Before discussions on the status of land, borders, Jerusalem, or ‘settlements,’ the Road Map called for Palestinian leadership to issue an ‘unequivocal statement reiterating Israel’s right to exist in peace and security and calling for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire to end armed activity and all acts of violence against Israelis anywhere. All official Palestinian institutions end incitement against Israel.’ In a few weeks, it will be five years since the Palestinian Authority was to prepare its citizens for a two-state solution and end incitement in its educational system. Yet from pre-school through high school, Palestinian children are indoctrinated to deny Israel’s legitimacy, demonize Israelis and Jews, and glorify violent struggle as a religious goal. The Palestinian government-produced textbooks and government-controlled media work in tandem to assure that Palestinian children will be no more disposed to living peacefully with Israel tomorrow than their parents are today.

It’s never too early to begin the hate education. Preschool television programming could be called Terrorism for Tots. Last year American viewers had a glimpse of the weekly program starring an outrageous Palestinian version of Mickey Mouse, Farfar, who in a Mickey-like voice told children to pray until there is ‘world leadership under Islamic leadership’ and in the meantime to oppose the ‘oppressive invading Zionist occupation.’

Farfur taught the children not only the glory of violence but the mindset of victim hood and blame. In one episode (May 11, 2007) Farfur cheated on an exam and his excuse was, ‘Because the Jews destroyed my home and I left my books and notes under the rubble.’ In case the point was too subtle, Farfur advised other children, ‘I’m calling on all children to read more and more to prepare for exams because the Jews don’t want us to learn.’

The program, which broadcast over most of the Arab world, was withdrawn recently after some international uproar. Of course, in the final episode Farfur was beaten to death in front of his impressionable young fans by an Israeli official. Farfur may be dead, but his legacy continues in other characters such as Assoud, the terrorist version of Bugs Bunny. Diane Sawyer showed one clip of Assoud saying, ‘I will finish off the Jews and eat them.’ (ABC Feb. 14, 2008)

With the emotional foundation of fear and hate established by the time children are five, these youngsters are ready to begin school and obtain ‘facts’ to support their prejudices. On the way to school, children learn who the heroes are. In most of the world, streets, public buildings and schools are named after presidents, great musicians, scientists, and others who are to serve as role model for children. Palestinian towns such as Yaabid) named their most important street and schools after former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, January 4, 2007] One of the numerous examples of schools named after terrorists is the Dalal Mughrabi School, which honors Dalal Mughrabi, who killed American photographer Gail Rubin and 36 Israelis. [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, December 14, 2004] Before the children open a book, they already know who is to be emulated.

Then the serious indoctrination begins in the textbooks. When the Palestinian Authority assumed control of education in 1994, it reverted to pre-1967 textbooks, which were little more than manuals for terror. With an infusion of international funds, the PA began a new curriculum process issuing books for two grades each year. Books for grades 1-10 were published under Yassir Arafat’s rule. Texts for grades 11 and 12 were prepared by the more ‘moderate’ leadership of Mahmoud Abbas. The Center for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (http://www.edume.org/) conducted an analysis of Palestinian textbooks published before and during Abbas’ presidency.

It comes as no surprise that in books produced under Arafat, Israel is not present in maps of the modern Middle East or that Jewish claims to a biblical connection are denied. In place of Israel, maps, both modern and ancient, show a sovereign state of Palestine (Reading and Texts, Grade 9, Part 2 (2004), pp. 34-35)Children in the 2nd grade learn that ‘Palestine’ covers the whole territory of pre-1967 Israel. (Islamic Education, Grade 2, Part 1 (2001), p. 98) The Jewish presence is also eliminated from the past. Despite the fact that Islam did not start until thousands of years after the biblical account of Abraham, the Cave of the Patriarchs is called the Mosque of Abraham (National Education, Grade 7 (2001), p. 55) and Rachel’s Tomb is referred to as ‘Mosque of Bilal bin Rabbah.’ National Education, Grade 7 (2001) p. 54

Jews, whose legitimacy in Israel has been denied in the texts are further demonized as killers with genocidal intentions. Literary selections such as the following fill the texts at all levels. Your enemies killed your children, split open your women’s bellies, held your revered elderly men by the beard, and led them to the death pits. (National Education, Grade 7 (2001), p. 20) Following the storyline of Farfur, Palestinians and Arabs are the victims and bear no responsibility for the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe) even though it was five Arab nations that attacked Israel. (Islamic Education, Grade 9, Part 1 (2003), p. 62) The textbooks present violence and martyrdom as the desired response to the ‘injustices’ imposed by Israel. Twelve-year-olds learn that ‘The martyr’s rank is above all ranks.’ (Our Beautiful Language, Grade 7, Part 1 (2001), p. 97) and as early as first grade, children recite:

I shall live as a Fida’i and continue as a Fida’i
And shall die as a Fida’i until it [i.e., the land] returns …
(National Education, Grade 1, Part 2 (2000), pp. 57-58)

Hopes that a change in leadership would produce a change in education were dashed in the most recent analysis of forty-two books which were issued for grades 11 and 12. After a slight change in tone in the grade 11 texts (Jews are mentioned in a few biblical accounts and one map includes Tel Aviv and other modern Jewish cities with a font so small that it requires a magnifying glass), the new grade 12 texts resume the vitriol against Israel.

Israelis are disparaged as ‘Zionist gangs,’ ‘colonial imperialists,’ and ‘racists.’ Palestinian youth are exhorted to fight Israel, not only for political gains but for religious Jihad. The battle for Israel is called ‘Ribat for Allah,’ (the place to fight Islam’s enemies) and ‘Ribat for Palestine’ is the ultimate of religious goals. With an increased religious aspect of the struggle, martyrs are violent liberation are praised. In Arabic language classes, students read:

O my homeland, I would not cry in this wedding party

For our Arabness refuses that we cry over the martyrs p. 13

I swear by Al-Aqsa Mosque and those plains

I shall not return the sword to its sheath and shall not lay down arms. p. 85 Arabic Language-Linguistic Sciences, Grade 12 (2006)

School outings and after school programs solidify the indoctrination to hate. This month Palestinian children were treated to an exhibition of Israel burning children in a crematorium. (Palestinian Media Watch, March 20, 2008) The theme of Israel prepetrating a Holocaust is a consistent with what they learn in school and on television.

‘They [Israel] are the ones who did the Holocaust … They opened the ovens for us to bake human beings… and when one oven stopped burning they lit a hundred more ovens.’ [PA TV March 25, 2004]

Almost more disturbing than what is being taught in an educational system that undermines any efforts for peace is who is paying for a large part of it: the U.S.A. Congress has issued repeated concerns that U.S. funds not be used to teach war (S.Hrg. 108-290, Subcommittee of the Committee on Appropriations, United States Senate, October 30, 2003, Palestinian Education-Teaching Peace or War?), and a priority for some Members of Congress is that U.S. aid to the Palestinians, totaling $1.4 billion since 1993, does not support an inciting, anti-Israeli curriculum. (CRS Report RS21594, United States Aid to the Palestinians, by Clyde Mark; and CRS Report RL32260)

On March 6, 2008 the House Appropriations State-Foreign Operations Subcommittee hearing challenged Deputy Secretary of State John D. Negroponte’s request for additional funding for the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ government and placed a hold on $150 million in economic support for the Palestinians. Members of the committee were ‘skeptical about the political will of a Palestinian leadership that all too often lapses into inflammatory rhetoric that belies their stated commitment to peace.’ (Rep. Nita Lowey, chair of the House Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, in a March 12 letter to the State Department)

After a phone call with Abbas, the State Department issued assurances and Condoleeza Rice said she was, ‘confident that President Abbas is someone who is committed to the negotiated solution of this issue.’ On March 12, a day before Rice’s scheduled appearance before the appropriations subcommittee, $100 million of the aid was released.

At this moment, in classrooms in Gaza and the West Bank, in schools under Hamas control or ‘moderate’ Fatah control, children are being poisoned with hate and distrust and readied to be warriors for the ‘final and inevitable result …the victory of the Muslims over the Jews.’ [Our Arabic Language for Fifth Grade p. 67] With humanitarian intentions and a blind eye to what is actually written in the textbooks and shown in the media, the U.S. funds hate education.

The U.S. provides funding to Palestinian education without any of the oversight it demands of American schools. I have been an educator for 31 years and know the stringent standards for accreditation and funding of schools in all fifty states. Perhaps a team of educators could set minimum requirements of pedagogy as well as a low level of tolerance for incitement towards violence, and only after the standards are met would funds commence. The money would follow performance, not promise.

As it stands now Americans need to learn what Ariel Sharon understood: the most lethal weapon of mass destruction is an education which implants the seeds of war in the next generation and guarantees a tragic future for all.

Here’s why. there is no such thing as moderate Islam

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

I found this on Jawa report. I think it is interesting. I don’t really know if I believe this or not. What do my readers think?

Here’s why….: “

People keep asking me ‘Why don’t the so-called ‘moderate Muslims’ speak out against terrorism?’

There are a number of ways one could explain this, and that’s a good part of what we do here at The Jawa Report – try to make sense of an alien culture.
But some folks aren’t getting the message, so I feel I must break this down to it’s lowest common denominator.

This is why more Muslims do not speak out against terrorism:

THE WORD ‘ISLAM’ MEANS ‘SUBMISSION’

The entire culture of Islam is geared towards accepting the ‘word of Allah’ without question, not making waves and not using critical thinking skills.
What else would you expect other than a society of blindly devoted sheep?

Get it now?

Al-Qaeda: We don’t kill “innocents”

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

Of course AQ doesn’t kill innocents, it is against Koran

But according to Koran a person deserves death if they don’t believe in the prophet, therefore they don’t kill innocents

3:46

Such is their twisted logic

Al-Qaeda No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri defended the militant organization Wednesday saying it does not kill innocents, in hour and a half long audio response to questions submitted to the movement on extremist Web sites. ”We haven’t killed the innocents, not in Baghdad nor in Morocco, nor in Algeria, nor anywhere else,” he said. ”If there is any innocent who was killed in the Mujahideen’s operations, then it was either an unintentional error or out of necessity,” he said. Update: Video of a british muslim saying all non muslims are not innocent and deserve to die.

Saudi Arabia Prime Source of Terror Funds, U.S. Says

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

Surprise Surprise

Saudi Arabia Prime Source of Terror Funds, U.S. Says: “”

Saudi Arabia remains the world’s leading source of funds for al-Qaida and other extremist groups, according to the Bush administration’s top financial counter-terrorism official.

Stuart Levey, a Treasury undersecretary, told the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday that the Saudi government has not taken sufficient steps to stem the flow of money to terrorist organizations or to bar wealthy citizens from funding extremism through charitable contributions.

“Saudi Arabia today remains the location where more money is going to terrorism, to Sunni terror groups and to the Taliban than any other place in the world,” Level told the committee.

Committee member Ron Wyden, an Oregon Democrat, said the Saudi failure to cut off terrorist funding means that Americans who pay more than $100 a barrel for Saudi oil are in fact bankrolling extremism because wealthy Saudi’s “back-door” their profits into charities that fund extremists, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Levey expressed frustration over U.S. efforts to convince the Saudis and others to take action against terrorist funding.

“We continue to face significant challenges as we move forward with these efforts, including fostering and maintaining the political will among other governments to take effective and consistent action,” he told the panel.

He also said the Saudis had not lived up to promises to set up “the kind of financial intelligence unit needed to trace the money trails of terrorists,” or “a charity oversight commission to track whether donations end up I the hands of extremists,” according to the Times.

At the end of the hearing, Sen. Max Baucus, D.-Mont., announced an independent review of the anti-terrorism program of Treasury’s Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, which was created in 2004 and is headed by Levey.

U.S. anti-terrorism efforts may have gotten a boost from a senior Saudi cleric, who is urging Saudis not to donate to charities that might be channeling money to terrorist groups.

Grand Mufti Sheikh Abd Al-Aziz Al Sheikh warned against giving money to groups financing what he called “harmful groups,” the Jerusalem Post reported.

His warning came days after it was reported that al-Qaida’s second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, was sending messages through cell phones asking Saudis to donate money to charities for needy people in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Saudi Interior Ministry has warned that anyone responding to al-Zawahiri’s petition would be penalized unless they contacted the ministry to “clarify their position.”

Haaretz: Different Languages, Different Messages

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

I found this at camera’s blog. It looks like the lefties are copying the “Palestinians” in saying different messages in different languages.

Ha'aretz: Different Languages, Different Messages: “

It’s often been noted that what certain Arab leaders say in Arabic before their own countrymen can differ sharply from what they say in English before Western audiences.

An Israeli blogger has noticed Ha’aretz, which publishes both Hebrew and English editions, playing this same double game.

He pointed out that a story today in English refers to the Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Zeev as ‘a Jewish settlement surrounded by Arab towns in the West Bank….’ In the original Hebrew, it is described in more neutral language as one of the ‘Jerusalem neighborhoods located across the Green Line.’

The blogger’s conclusion is that ‘we have a very politicized Haaretz subverting Israel abroad.’

BBC: Israel Second Least Popular

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

This comes at no surprise due to BBC’s mass distortion of the truth in regards to Israel. It looks like the jihadi propaganda is working.

BBC: Israel Second Least Popular: “”

(IsraelNN.com) According to a poll conducted by the British Broadcasting Company, Israel is one of the most unpopular countries on earth. The only country that more respondents viewed negatively was Iran.

Approximately 17,000 people in 34 countries were asked for their views on 14 countries, including Israel, Iran, the United States, and the European Union. 54 percent said they held “mostly negative’ views of Iran, while 52 percent said they had a negative view of Israel.

Israel’s results improved slightly from last year, when 57 percent of respondents said they viewed the country in a negative light.

Geert Wilders Speech in front of Holland’s Parliament

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

I found this on Ironic Surrealism II. It is an interesting read.

Geert Wilders Speech in front of Holland’s Parliament: “

Enough is enough

Cross posted from Al Salibiyyah

The following is a speech by Geert Wilders, the maker of the film ‘Fitna’. It was given in front of Holland’s Parliament on, or around, March 15th 2008:

Madam Speaker, allow me, first, to express my sincere thanks to you personally for having planned a debate on Islam on the very day of my birthday. I could not have wished for a nicer present!

Madam Speaker, approximately 1400 years ago war was declared on us by an ideology of hate and violence which arose at the time and was proclaimed by a barbarian who called himself the Prophet Mohammed. I am referring to Islam.

Madam Speaker, let me start with the foundation of the Islamic faith, the Koran. The Koran’s core theme is about the duty of all Muslims to fight non-Muslims; an Islamic Mein Kampf, in which fight means war, jihad. The Koran is above all a book of war, a call to butcher non-Muslims (2:191, 3:141, 4:91, 5:3), to roast them (4:56, 69:30-69:32), and to cause bloodbaths amongst them (47:4). Jews are compared to monkeys and pigs (2:65, 5:60, 7:166), while people who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God must according to the Koran be fought (9:30).

Madam Speaker, the West has no problems with Jews or Christians, but it does have problems with Islam. It is still possible, even today, for Muslims to view the Koran, which they regard as valid for all time, as a license to kill. And that is exactly what happens. The Koran is worded in such a way that its instructions are addressed to Muslims for eternity, which includes today’s Muslims. This in contrast to texts in the Bible, which is formulated as a number of historical narratives, placing events in a distant past. Let us remind ourselves that it was Muslims, not Jews or Christians, who committed the catastrophic terrorist attacks in New York, Madrid and London; and that it was no coincidence that Theo van Gogh was brutally murdered by a Muslim, Mohammed Bouyeri.

Madam Speaker, I acknowledge that there are people who call themselves Muslims and who respect our laws. My party, the Freedom Party, has nothing against such people, of course. However, the Koran does have something against them. For it is stated in the Koran in Sura 2, verse 85, that those believers who do not believe in everything the Koran states will be humiliated and receive the severest punishment; which means that they will roast in Hell. In other words, people who call themselves Muslims but who do not believe, for example, in Sura 9, verse 30, which states that Jews and Christians must be fought, or, for example, in Sura 5, verse 38, which states that the hand of a thief must be cut off, such people will be humiliated and roast in Hell. Note that it is not me who is making this up. All this can be found in the Koran. The Koran also states that Muslims who believe in only part of the Koran are in fact apostates, and we know what has to happen to apostates. They have to be killed.

Madam Speaker, the Koran is a book that incites to violence. I remind the House that the distribution of such texts is unlawful according to Article 132 of our Penal Code. In addition, the Koran incites to hatred and calls for murder and mayhem. The distribution of such texts is made punishable by Article 137(e). The Koran is therefore a highly dangerous book; a book which is completely against our legal order and our democratic institutions. In this light, it is an absolute necessity that the Koran be banned for the defense and reinforcement of our civilization and our constitutional state. I shall propose a second-reading motion to that effect.

Madam Speaker, there is no such thing as ‘moderate Islam’…. As Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan said the other day, and I quote, ‘There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.’ Islam is in pursuit of dominance. It wishes to exact its imperialist agenda by force on a worldwide scale (8:39). This is clear from European history. Fortunately, the first Islamic invasion of Europe was stopped at Poitiers in 732; the second in Vienna in 1683. Madam Speaker, let us ensure that the third Islamic invasion, which is currently in full spate, will be stopped too in spite of its insidious nature and notwithstanding the fact that, in contrast to the 8th and 17th centuries, it has no need for an Islamic army because the scared ‘dhimmis’ in the West, also those in Dutch politics, have left their doors wide open to Islam and Muslims.

Apart from conquest, Madam Speaker, Islam is also bent on installing a totally different form of law and order, namely Sharia law. This makes Islam, apart from a religion for hundreds of millions of Muslims also, and in particular, a political ideology (with political/constitutional/Islamic basic values, etc). Islam is an ideology without any respect for others; not for Christians, not for Jews, not for non-believers and not for apostates. Islam aims to dominate, subject, kill and wage war.

Madam Speaker, the Islamic incursion must be stopped. Islam is the Trojan Horse in Europe. If we do not stop Islamification now, Eurabia and Netherabia will just be a matter of time. One century ago, there were approximately 50 Muslims in the Netherlands. Today, there are about 1 million Muslims in this country. Where will it end? We are heading for the end of European and Dutch civilisation as we know it. Where is our Prime Minister in all this? In reply to my questions in the House he said, without batting an eyelid, that there is no question of our country being Islamified.

Now, this reply constituted a historical error as soon as it was uttered. Very many Dutch citizens, Madam Speaker, experience the presence of Islam around them. And I can report that they have had enough of burkas, headscarves, the ritual slaughter of animals, so-called honour revenge, blaring minarets, female circumcision, hymen restoration operations, abuse of homosexuals, Turkish and Arabic on the buses and trains as well as on town hall leaflets, halal meat at grocery shops and department stores, Sharia exams, the Finance Minister’s Sharia mortgages, and the enormous over representation of Muslims in the area of crime, including Moroccan street terrorists.

In spite of all this, Madam Speaker, there is hope. Fortunately. The majority of Dutch citizens have become fully aware of the danger, and regard Islam as a threat to our culture. My party, the Freedom Party, takes those citizens seriously and comes to their defence.

Many Dutch citizens are fed up to the back teeth and yearn for action. However, their representatives in The Hague are doing precisely nothing. They are held back by fear, political correctness or simply electoral motives. This is particularly clear in the case of PvdA, the Dutch Labour Party, which is afraid of losing Muslim voters. The Prime Minister said in Indonesia the other day that Islam does not pose any danger. Minister Donner believes that Sharia law should be capable of being introduced in the Netherlands if the majority want it. Minister Vogelaar babbles about the future Netherlands as a country with a Judeo-Christian-Islamic tradition, and that she aims to help Islam take root in Dutch society. In saying this, the Minister shows that she has obviously gone stark raving mad. She is betraying Dutch culture and insulting Dutch citizens.

Madam Speaker, my party, the Freedom Party, demands that Minister Vogelaar retract her statement. If the Minister fails to do so, the Freedom Party parliamentary group will withdraw its support for her. No Islamic tradition must ever be established in the Netherlands: not now and also not in a few centuries’ time.

Madam Speaker, let me briefly touch on the government’s response to the WRR [Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy] report. On page 12 of its response, the government states that Islam is not contrary to democracy or human rights. All I can say to that is that things can’t get much more idiotic than this.

Madam Speaker, it is a few minutes to twelve. If we go on like this, Islam will herald the end of our Western civilization as well as Dutch culture.

I would like to round off my first-reading contribution with a personal appeal to the Prime Minister on behalf of a great many Dutch citizens: stop the Islamification of the Netherlands!

Mr Balkenende, a historic task rests on your shoulders. Be courageous. Do what many Dutch citizens are screaming out for. Do what the country needs. Stop all immigration from Muslim countries, ban all building of new mosques, close all Islamic schools, ban burkas and the Koran. Expel all criminal Muslims from the country, including those Moroccan street terrorists that drive people mad. Accept your responsibility! Stop Islamification!

Enough is enough, Mr Balkenende. Enough is enough.

As Reliable As Ever

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

Israellycool has more on the distortions in the media

As Reliable As Ever: “

Remember the palestinian terrorist who yesterday brought a knife to a gunfight and ending up marinating in soil and worms?

Well, this is how the palestinian Ma’an News Agency reported his death:

A Palestinian university student was killed by an Israeli settler at a hitchiking post on Route 60 near the Shilo Israeli settlement between Nablus and Ramallah in the northern West Bank on Monday, Israeli and Palestinian security sources said.

Palestinian security sources said 22-year-old Abdul-Latif Hurub from the southern West Bank town of Khras west of Hebron was shot and killed by an Israeli settler.

Local sources told Ma’an’s reporter in Hebron that Israeli forces ransacked the victim’s family house after his death.

Hurub was studying Business Administration at Birzeit University near Ramallah. On Tuesday, students from Birzeit University told Ma’an that Israeli forces broke into the student dormitory where Hurub had been living. They evacuated all the students and inspected the building.

For its part, Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Brigades claimed that one of their activists was killed as he attempted to grab a rifle from an Israeli soldier near the Shilo settlement.

And here’s the Palestine Media Center report:

Two Jewish settlers shot dead unarmed Palestinian teenager Abdul-Latif Ali Mohammad Kharroub, 22, while he was walking on a countryside road near the town of Turmus A’iyya north of Ramallah, West Bank.

An Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) spokeswoman claimed the victim tried to stab the Jewish settlers who were waiting at a bus stop station near the illegal Jewish colonial settlements of Eli and Shilo.

Palestinian witnesses told the Ramallah-based Al Hayat Al Jadida on Tuesday that Kharroub was killed in cold blood without any exchange of gunfire.

IOF troops arrived soon afterwards and questioned the two Israelis, according to the AFP.

Something’s missing. Oh, I know. That would be the truth.

And if you are the kind of person who thinks palestinian reports should be believed, compare the two versions above and try to reconcile them. I mean, which is it? Was he killed while trying to disarm an IDF soldier or while on a relaxing stroll?

To borrow from a famous Australian advertising campaign, if you rely on palestinian reports, you are a bloody idiot.

Report: Non-Muslims Deserve Punishment

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

Check out another disturbing report from Holger Awakens.

Report: Non-Muslims Deserve Punishment: “

Islam Watch has posted a report that talks about how the Muslim opinion is that all non-muslims deserve to be punished and in this report, there is an interview with a London imam – here are some excerpts from that interview:

A question-and-answer session with Imam Abdul Makin in an East London mosque asks why Allah would tell Muslims to kill and rape innocent non-Muslims, including their wives and daughters, according to Islam Watch.
Because non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet,’ the Imam says, according to the report. ‘If you don’t believe me, here is the legal authority, the top Muslim lawyer of Britain.’

And then, later in the interview, there is this:

‘As a Muslim, I must support my Muslim brothers and sisters,’ Choudary said. ‘I must have hatred to everything that is not Muslim.’

There you have it. From the horse’s mouse (or is it the ass’ mouth?). No big surprises here, as we all know that islam is all or nothing – if you aren’t an islamist, you are to be destroyed. What is shocking about this report is that these views are coming out of London, England…not some dark shanty on a mountain top in Pakistan.

And the million dollar question is this: Do you really believe that this viewpoint of muslims will EVER change? If you think I hold any hope of that out, you haven’t been frequenting this blog very long.

The full story from Fox is here (the article is very brief with a sub link to the report thus I won’t excerpt below).

Terror banker bank

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

Some disturbing news from Spirt of Man. They should close this bank now.

Terror banker: “Iranian regime is ‘Central Banker of Terrorism‘ according to the US Treasury Dept:

‘We’ve seen Iran’s banks request other financial institutions take their names off of transactions when processing them in the international financial system. This practice, which is even used by the central bank of Iran, is intended to evade the controls put in place by responsible financial institutions and has the effect of threatening to involve those financial institutions in transactions that they would never engage in if they knew who or what was really involved.’

But what’s the ‘Free World’ doing to remove this bank? Answer: Almost nothing.”

NYT on Hamas ‘Insults’

Posted by avideditor on April 2, 2008

How is Israel supposed to make peace with people that are brainwashing there children to hate jews. There can be no peace with people like this. Here is an article that one of my Rabbis talked about and I found on LGF.

NYT on Hamas ‘Insults’: “

Lots of readers emailed about this New York Times article by anti-Israel reporter Steven Erlanger, because the headline is so ludicrously understated: In Gaza, Hamas’s Insults to Jews Complicate Peace.

Insults that complicate peace: suicide bombings, rocket attacks, random murder, genocidal intent, indoctrination of children into a death cult. Those kinds of insults do tend to complicate matters, don’t they?

But once you get past the headline, the article itself (although not devoid of the usual New York Times moral equivocating) does expose some of the barbarism of Hamas. You know, the kind of stuff we’ve been yelling about for seven years.

GAZA — In the Katib Wilayat mosque one recent Friday, the imam was discussing the wiliness of the Jew.

‘Jews are a people who cannot be trusted,’ Imam Yousif al-Zahar of Hamas told the faithful. ‘They have been traitors to all agreements — go back to history. Their fate is their vanishing. Look what they are doing to us.’

At Al Omari mosque, the imam cursed the Jews and the ‘Crusaders,’ or Christians, and the Danes, for reprinting cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. He referred to Jews as ‘the brothers of apes and pigs,’ while the Hamas television station, Al Aksa, praises suicide bombing and holy war until Palestine is free of Jewish control.

Its videos praise fighters and rocket-launching teams; its broadcasts insult the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, for talking to Israel and the United States; its children’s programs praise ‘martyrdom,’ teach what it calls the perfidy of the Jews and the need to end Israeli occupation over Palestinian land, meaning any part of the state of Israel.

Such incitement against Israel and Jews was supposed to be banned under the 1993 Oslo accords and the 2003 ‘road map’ peace plan. While the Palestinian Authority under Fatah has made significant, if imperfect [Hoot! –ed.] efforts to end incitement, Hamas, no party to those agreements, feels no such restraint.

Since Hamas took over Gaza last June, routing Fatah, Hamas sermons and media reports preaching violence and hatred have become more pervasive, extreme and sophisticated, on the model of Hezbollah and its television station Al Manar, in Lebanon.

Intended to indoctrinate the young to its brand of radical Islam, which combines politics, social work and military resistance, including acts of terrorism, the programs of Al Aksa television and radio, including crucial Friday sermons, are an indication of how far from reconciliation Israelis and many Palestinians are.
