Saudi King Tries Stopping Pending Revolt With Bribes

Posted by avideditor on February 24, 2011

From Saudi King Tries Stopping Pending Revolt With BribesKing Abdullah of Saudi Arabia returned home yesterday after spending three months in New York City and Morocco treating a major back problems. The Middle east he came home to was very different from the one he left. Just in the last monthrevolutions have swept across neighboring Yemen and Bahrain, toppled leaders in Egypt and Tunisia, set the Libyan government against its people and are itching to get started in Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, and Iran. The King also hears the rumbling of revolution in his own realm (or he reads Facebook).

Middle East analyst Neil Patrick said King Abdullah must “be in a state of shock”.

“The assumption a coalition of different elites could keep systems stable has proven not to be correct anymore,” he said.

Mustafa Alani, director of the Dubai-based private think tank Gulf Research Centre, said: “Immunity no longer exists. There is only one way to stay in power, and that is by meeting the demands of your people.”

…The king’s half-brother, Prince Talal bin Abdul-Aziz al-Saud, told BBC Arabic last week that Saudi Arabia could be harmed by the uprisings sweeping the Arab world unless it sped up reforms.

A Saudi businessman agreed yesterday: “Saudis want more from the king and his regime. They want more political and social freedom, more rights for women, better education and more job opportunities.

“The region is changing rapidly and the Saudis want to feel this change in their country, too.”

And the King did all he could to try to make his people happy and allow them to “feel change” $36 Billion dollars worth of change, giving all government employees a 15% pay raise and dramatically increasing spending on social welfare programs, housing and education:

Under new decrees, the unemployed in Saudi Arabia will get financial aid for a year, while prisoners jailed for failing to pay off loans were released and needy students attending university were told they would get more money.

Saturday was also declared a national holiday to celebrate the King’s safe return.

The King is also rumored to be carrying out a cabinet shuffle to meet the demand for younger people in the cabinet (the average age now is 65).

This is not the first time Abdullah has used some of his oil riches to protect the realm. While he is not hated the way Mubarak and Qudaffi are, it is still unclear that the latest bribe will work. Stay tuned boys and girls.

Saudi Arabia forces news blogs to promote Islam

Posted by avideditor on January 13, 2011

The latest in the pro jihadis, pro sharia, and pro caliphate action from Saudi Arabia. Wonder if the FCC is going to do the same BS and limit free speech here with there new power grab? From http://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2011/01/saudi-arabia-forces-news-blogs-to.html

Saudi Arabia has enacted stringent new regulations forcing some bloggers to obtain government licenses and to strongarm others into registering. In addition, all Saudi news blogs and electronic news sites will now be strictly licensed, required to “include the call to the religion of Islam” and to strictly abide by Islamic sharia law. The registration and religion requirements are also being coupled with strict restrictions on what topics Saudi bloggers can write on–a development which will essentially give Saudi authorities the right to shut down blogs at their discretion.

Glenn Beck sells out. Is it because the Saudis bought more of Fox News? While the libtards form a Coffee party

Posted by avideditor on February 27, 2010

UPDATE  Beck agreed with me on how terrible a 3rd party would be. Tea Party Threat to GOP?

UPDATE: I have no problem with libertarians that are not isolationist. The problem I have is promoting a 3rd party because that will ensure the progressives take over. I saw the show and I saw him promoting one. I hope I am wrong and he will elaborate it more on Monday. I agree with beck that exporting democracy to the muslim world is like teaching an ape table manners 😉 But I think he crossed the line. I hope my opinions are more clear now. I am in no way calling Beck Hitler like some. Again I hope I am wrong but I fear I may be right.

Watching last night Beck. Wow does he know what he is doing? He seems to be promoting a 3rd party and that will insure the appointment of tyrants like Van Jones Do you think he is doing this intentionally?. Is it because of this?  The story was actually broken here first 😉 Meanwhile the libtards are forming a Coffee Party.

White House says Obama didn’t bow to the Fraudi King

Posted by avideditor on April 8, 2009

He did bow and it is really disturbing. I caul “Saudi Arabia” Fraudi Arabia. The fact that it is not the worse country in the region tells alot about the Jihadi mind. Thank G-d I was not born a women in Fraudi Arabia.  From Jihad watch

Judge for yourself

Libelblogger Charles Johnson of the once-worthwhile site Little Green Footballs, careless with the facts as ever, has claimed that Bush also bowed to the Islamic supremacist monarch. In reality, Bush didn’t. But it is certainly true that Obama is not the first U.S. President to kowtow to the masters of our energy fortunes, and over the years we criticized Bush here many times for doing so.

Still, there is enormous symbolic value in bowing to the King, as even the Obama administration is apparently aware — because now they are denying what plainly happened:

“White House: No bow to Saudi,” by Ben Smith at Politico, April 8 (thanks to Doc Washburn):

The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.”It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah,” said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The Washington Times called the alleged bow a “shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate” and said it violated centuries of American tradition of not deferring to royalty. The Weekly Standard, meanwhile, noted that American protocol apparently rules out bowing, or at least it reportedly did on the occasion of a Clinton “near-bow” to the emperor of Japan….

History textbooks promoting Islam

Posted by avideditor on May 11, 2008

It looks like the Oil money is being used to brain wash the next generation to be blind to Islam and hate Jews. It is really scary and should be stopped. Everyone that has kids in schools that use these text books should talk to the school board, the PTA, and anyone that will listen. When good people do nothing evil prevails.

History textbooks being used by hundreds of thousands of public school students across the U.S. are blatantly promoting Islam, according to a new report by an independent organization that researches and reviews textbooks.

WND has reported several times on issues involving the promotion of Islam in public school texts, including a recent situation in which California parents complained their children were being taught that “jihad” to Muslims means “doing good works.”

The new report is from the American Textbook Council, which was established in 1989 as an independent national research organization to review social studies textbooks and advance the quality of instructional materials in history.

In the two-year project, whose report was authored by Gilbert T. Sewall, the ATC reviewed five junior and five high school world and American history texts, concluding:

UPDATE: It looks like Yid with a Lid wrote about this and did a great job here is the first part. I would read the whole thing

Folks here it is again. In the name of “kumbaya- everything is beautiful” we are creating an entire generation of Americans not prepared to face the realities of the world. In other words slowly creating a nation of Dhimmis.

According to the American Textbook Council, Many History Books used across the US do its best to promote Jihad.

One of the textbooks in question is History Alive! The Medieval World and Beyond’s lessons titled “Jihad” and “Shari’ah: Islamic Law” The passages below come from the student edition, copyright 2005, pages 101 through 103. At the very least, the passages are incomplete. More precisely, they are dishonest. Neither passage explains the essentially religious nature of the subject and more importantly they don’t show how Jihad and Shari’ah Law are being used as an excuse for world wide terrorism:

Pat Condell on Fitna: The religion of fear

Posted by avideditor on March 31, 2008

Check out another great rant which includes great gems like:

“Falsely equating Islam with violence is like falsely equating Walt Disney with Mickey Mouse.”

“Islam without violence is like an omelette without an egg.”

“… violent primitive dickheads.”

“Islam – a violent, 7-th century desert dogma.”
