Obama to withhold veto from Palestinian UN move to condemn Israeli settlements

Posted by avideditor on January 22, 2011

It looks like the destroyer is going to side with the jihadis. I hope he doesn’t but this is a sad day if it is true.
From http://menorahblog.typepad.com/menorah/2011/01/obama-to-withhold-veto-from-palestinian-un-move-to-condemn-israeli-settlements-1.html
Obama21.1.11Israel and the US are set for a collision if President Barack Obama stands by his refusal to veto a Palestinian-Arab motion due to be tabled at the UN Security Council condemning Israel for its settlement policy in the West Bank and Jerusalem, DEBKAfile’s Washington sources report. If he did, he would be the first US president to let an anti-Israel motion go through the Security Council; building on the West Bank and even in the forty-year old suburbs of East Jerusalem would become illegal, as would also municipal, police and military actions in these places. Pro-Palestinian” really means “anti-Israel”: another example

Posted by avideditor on January 18, 2011

In this I wrote that there really aren’t “palis” The solution to the “Palestinian” curse on Israel It seems to be any group that promotes this mythical group is anti Jews and Israel.
from “Pro-Palestinian” really means “anti-Israel”: another exampleReader Greg points out the Australians for Palestine website, where we see this graphic prominently featured:

So-called “pro-Palestinian” advocates don’t even try very hard to say they believe in a two state solution or in Israel continuing to exist.

Even though Australians for Palestine’s Statement of Principles pretends to advocate for a two-state solution, they say:

all of Jerusalem remains the subject of final status negotiations because of its strategic importance in reconnecting the northern region of the West Bank to the southern region.

In other words, Israel has no rights over even the parts of Jerusalem west of the Green Line.

Government Funded Palestine House: “We Need Another Holocaust”

Posted by DJM on April 3, 2010

The JDL (Jewish Defense League) protested the government funding of Palestine House in Canada.

What the mainstream media reported:

Each group accused the other of hate, shouting “go home.” JDL members hurled overt racist slurs, while Palestine House men threw pennies on the ground, calling the JDL “thieves.”

What was really said:

Palestine House Guy: “You guys need another Holocaust. You guys need another one. You f*ckers need another Holocaust.”

And not just anti-semitic taunts, but open support for terrorism as well:

JDL Guy: “No more jihad.”

Palestine House Guy: “We love jihad. We love killing you.”

JDL Guy: “Peace, education, not jihad. No more jihad — stop it!”

Palestine House Guy: “We love it. No, we love it. We love killing dogs… your bitches with you.”

JDL Guy: “We like the Palestinians only we hate the terrorists.”

Palestine House Guy: “What do your women taste like?”

Think tank: Hamas has an army of 20,000

Posted by avideditor on April 13, 2008

I think it is time for Israel to turn that into an army of 0.

Think tank: Hamas has an army of 20,000: ”

An Israeli think tank reports today that since the brilliant
expulsion of Gazas Jews less than three years ago, Hamas has built up
an army of 20,000 men,
much of it trained in Lebanon and Iran. It also has long-range rockets
and advanced anti-tank weapons in the Gaza Strip and has smuggled in
more than eighty tons of weapons.

Entitled ‘Hamass
Military Buildup in the Gaza Strip’, the report – compiled by the
Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center – detailed the structure
of the Hamas military force in Gaza, naming commanders of its various
brigades and the type of weapons it has succeeded in smuggling into
Gaza through the Sinai.

According to the think tank that has close ties with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), which provides most of the information in the report, Hamass military buildup is currently at its peak although its completion will take another few years. [In other words, postponing an operation will only make it worse. CiJ]

military capabilities are based on the Izzedin al-Kassam Brigades – the
groups military wing responsible for the terror attacks against Israel.

In the event of a large-scale Israeli invasion of Gaza, the report claims that Hamas
would refrain from fighting against the IDF in open areas but would
instead channel the fighting into more densely-populated areas
. [Where they have lots of human shields. CiJ]

success in providing an asymmetric response to the IDFs might during
the second Lebanon war made it a role model for Hamas,’ the report
states. ‘The lessons of the second Lebanon war also illustrated the
importance of having a strong military force which could stand fast and
survive to protect Hamass control of the Gaza Strip, like the military
force Hizbullah established in south Lebanon.’

The commander of
the al-Kassam Brigades, which numbers 10,000 operatives, is Ahmed
Jaabri, who took over following the assassination attempt on Mohammed
Deif in July 2006 that left the supreme Hamas commander seriously

In addition to the brigades, Hamas also controls the
Executive Force which numbers another 10,000 operatives. There are also
another 3-4 thousand operatives who belong to other terror groups –
Islamic Jihad, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine etc. – and
these would also likely join Hamass fight against the IDF in the event
of an Israeli invasion.

According to the report, the northern
Gaza brigade is commanded by Ahmed Ghandour; two brigades in Gaza City
are commanded by Jaabari; the central Gaza brigade is commanded by
Ayman Nawfal who is currently in prison in Egypt and two brigades in
southern Gaza – one in Khan Yunis and one in Rafah – are respectively
commanded by Muhammad Sinwar and Raed al-Atar.

Haaretz adds:

Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center also said that Israels
2005 pullout from Gaza enabled the militant Palestinian group to boost
its power in the coastal strip, over which it gained control in a
violent takeover in June 2006.

Israeli disengagement from the Gaza Strip in August 2005 created a new
situation which accelerated the establishment of an area fully
controlled by Hamas. It was quick to use its increased military power
to make political capital in internal Palestinian affairs
,’ the study states. [For Haaretz, thats an astounding admission. They are effectively admitting that the disengagement was a huge mistake. CiJ]

Iran and Syria supply Hamas with weapons, technical knowhow and training, the study also stated.

the study said the Islamic group has smuggled 80 tons of explosives
into the Gaza Strip since it seized the territory last year.

But lets give the moderate Abu Mazen some more territory that he and
Hamas can use to build an army in Judea and Samaria and then the whole
country can be like Sderot. Eh Ehud?

Hamas’ fake martyr operation

Posted by avideditor on April 9, 2008

It looks like Hamas was trying to create more media manipulation and deist. The thing about terrorist is they lie about everything. It is just pathetic the media buys into their lies. Israel destroying Hamas is long over due.

Hamas’ fake martyr operation: “Palestine Press Agency reports that one of the ‘martyrs’ that Hamas claimed to have been killed during Wednesday morning’s murder of an IDF soldier was in fact killed in internal Fatah/Hamas clashes, and Hamas brought his body to the area to claim that Israel killed him: (autotranslated):

[Hamas’] Qassam Brigades announced in a press conference Wednesday in Khan Yunis in the martyrdom of Mohamed Fayed Chamie said that one of its leaders were killed during clashes with Israeli special forces and enable the sniper and killed an Israeli soldier east of Khan Younis…

Local sources in the Gaza Strip said that Mohamed Fayed Chamie not in the place in which it was killed, pointing out that while his body was transported to the hospital and his funeral emerged as a refreshing! There is a new death, which implies that he was killed in the internal events of the Gaza Strip and his body was thrown in the Israeli operation to his funeral and announcing that he martyrs killed during clashes with the occupation.

Chamie a resident of neighborhood Khan Younis many accuse him of being behind the murder and assault on Fatah and the security services and is one of the hired killers in the ranks of Hamas and the militias participated in the bloody coup in the Gaza Strip ‘, according to the sources said.

Citizens in the Gaza Strip, eyewitnesses told Palestine Press News ‘that Hamas has always followed this method during the events preceding or following an internal liquidation operations in the ranks of the militia hide them and no disturbances in the ranks of its members and the number of dead in concealing internal bloody events.’

This is not the first time that Hamas has been accused of faking martyrs, either.

Since PalPress gives details on the person’s name and circumstances, I am counting this as a 2008 self-death, putting the number at 57. And if this practice is as prevalent as it sounds, I am sorely undercounting – and the counts by various agencies of Palestinian Arab deaths from Israeli fire have been inflated as well.

Carter Loves Hamas Because He HATES Menachem Begin

Posted by avideditor on April 9, 2008

Carter hates liberty and truth and loves receiving money from Islamo-Fasicst form Fraudi Arabia. Carter not only wrecked Iran, forced Israel to give up land, and destroyed the US economy he is now meeting with terrorist. After lying through his teeth with him book and trying to poison the minds of future generations he is trying to empower the terrorist. Can he die already?

Carter Loves Hamas Because He HATES Menachem Begin: “Its almost old news already, the worst president in United States History, Jimmy Carter, will be meeting with Hamas in a few weeks:

Fox News— The Arabic-language newspaper Al-Hayat reported Tuesday that Carter was planning a trip to Syria for mid-April, during which he would meet with Khaled Meshal, the exiled head of the Palestinian terror group Hamas, on April 18.

Deanna Congileo, Carter’s press secretary, confirmed in an e-mail to FOXNews.com that Carter will be in the Mideast in April. Pressed for comment, Congileo did not deny that the former president is considering visiting Meshal.

‘President Carter is planning a trip to the Mideast next week; however, we are still confirming details of the trip and will issue a press release by the end of this week,’ wrote Congileo. ‘I cannot confirm any specific meetings at this point in time.’

The State Department has designated Hamas a ‘foreign terrorist organization,’ and some groups hold Meshal personally responsible for ordering the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack once said of the prospect of meeting with Meshal, ‘That’s not something that we could possibly conceive of.’

Everyone is now reporting the Carter meeting but no one is reporting the reason BEHIND the meeting. You see, Jimmy Carter has an obsessive, frothing at the mouth-type hatred of former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin.

Ken Stein (the man whose resignation over the Peanut’s book, started the exodus from the Carter Center) wrote an extensive article in of Middle East Quarterly last year More than just correcting the mistakes in Carter’s trashy opus, Stein (who worked with Carter on the book The Blood of Abraham and was director of the Carter Center until his resignation) gave us insight into Carter’s heart and why he [Carter] hates Israel so much.

Jimmy Carter is obsessively fostering hatred for a Ghost. Jimmy Carter Hates Israel and loves Hamas because he hates Menachem Begin. Carter feels that Begin cost him the 1980 election and also cost him the opportunity to be known as the greatest peacemaker ever in the history of the world.

Carter thinks the reason Israel STILL will not leave the disputed territories is the legacy of the late Israeli Prime Minister The intransigence of Begin and his successors, Carter believes, was compounded by a failure of U.S. political leaders to pressure the Israeli government to’ correct its policy’.

HEY JIMBO! GIVE THE GUY A BREAK HE PASSED AWAY A LONG TIME AGO….GET OVER IT !!!!…Carter’s Obsessive Hatred of Begin reaches almost comic proportions.

Stein gives examples:

  • Carter’s animosity toward Begin has grown with time. He blames Begin for refusing to negotiate over the West Bank. Not only did this deny Carter a more complete peace deal, but, Carter believes, it also institutionalized itself in Israeli policymaking, worsening the Palestinians’ plight. Since Begin took office on May 17, 1977, ending the Labor movement’s hegemony in Israeli political life, Carter has repeatedly blasted Israeli prime ministers for what he terms the creation of a ‘horrible’ and ‘terrible’ state of affairs for the Palestinians in areas of east Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip
  • Skepticism of Carter’s intentions may have convinced Begin to take a harder line about the West Bank, which, in line with biblical terminology, he called Judea and Samaria. During his tenure as prime minister, Begin forbade the negotiation agenda to include the West Bank and those portions of Jerusalem that the Israeli government annexed after the 1967 Six-Day war. This refusal to negotiate became Carter’s core disagreement with Begin. Carter realized that with Begin adamant against further concessions, he had no tangible item to offer to the Palestinians or other Arab leaders to reach a broader peace agreement. With Begin not offering a fallback position, Carter could not initiate a conclusive Israeli-Palestinian negotiating process. He never forgave Begin.
  • A point he has repeatedly made when speaking to my students, his animus toward the late Israeli leader is limitless. This became evident when we were writing The Blood of Abraham, and Carter insisted on asserting that Begin ‘wanted to expand Israeli borders to both sides of the Jordan River.’ In fact, this is anachronistic. True, this had been Begin’s view prior to Israel’s independence in 1948, but it was not, as Carter implied, Begin’s position after his twenty-nine years in the Knesset (parliament) or during his premiership. During chapter editing, I brought the error to Carter’s attention. He declined to correct it.
  • The Negotiations with Egypt was really two against one: During the difficult negotiations between Egypt and Israel, Carter and his advisers tried to get Sadat to engage in a collusive scheme: They would encourage Sadat to make ‘deliberately exaggerated’ demands. The White House would then intervene to ‘compel’ Cairo to scale back its demands in exchange for Israeli concessions. Then-national security advisor Brzezinski explained that Washington would ‘apply maximum leverage on Israel to accommodate,by keeping the West Bank’s political future on the table for future negotiations. That Carter risked possible Israeli-Egyptian peace in an effort to extract greater concessions from Begin underscores the tension in their relationship.
  • Carter also blames difficulties with Begin for undermining his re-election. In early 1980, with the critical New York Democratic primary looming, Mondale urged Carter to repudiate the U.S. vote for U.N. Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 465,which had condemned Israeli settlement activity. According to Barack Obama’s Adviser Brzezinski:

Jewish voters swung heavily over to Senator [Edward] Kennedy, ensuring Carter’s defeat. The set-back prolonged the Carter-Kennedy contest. Sadat did not want a final showdown on the Palestinian problem prior to the return of the Sinai to Egypt. Without pressure from Sadat, our own incentive to push Israel hard was much decreased. Begin proved himself to be a skilled manipulator … adroit at delaying tactics and in diversionary public appeals … by mid-June it was clear even to Mondale that Begin wanted Carter defeated.

Carter reminds me of Herbert Lom in the old Pink Panther movies, he played Clouseau’s Boss who hated the Peter Sellers character so much that he kept trying to kill him. Lom’s character keeps hurting himself in his attempts and eventually winds up insane.

Such is Jimmy Carter’s sick hatred of Menachem Began. The man has been dead for sixteen year’s and Cater allows his hatred to stew, effect his decision making, and cause him to ruin any legacy that he might have had.

A solution to the “Palestinian” curse on Israel

Posted by avideditor on April 9, 2008

Israel since its founding has been attack by Arabs around them that don’t want any Jews to live in land they once controlled. It is against Islam to give up land that was previously under the control of Muslims. That is why the muslims created a fictitious people called the “Palestinians” , after Israel defeated the armies of the arab countries which out gunned and out number the Israelis. All of Israel’s major wars where won with the help of G-d, for this reason students of war strategy do not study the major Israelis wars (48, 67, and the yom kipper war). The  defeated the armies of the arab countries realized this and but they did not give up because it was a holly war to rid the land of the Jews because the Koran forbid them from living on previously controlled Islamic land.

As long as Israel doesn’t lose faith in G-d Israel will be protected. The muslims deiced to take lessons from their holy book the Qu’ran and copy how there profit Mohammed. In one of the major battles of the Qur’an Mohammed destroys the neighboring jewish tribes by destroying their faith in G-d by making false promises and deceit. That is what the arab countries did in creating the myth of the Palestinian people.

There where very few Arabs living in Israel most of them where nomads. The zionist saying was “a land without people for a people with out a land.” When England controlled Israel the jews called themselves the Palestinians. However do to a great amount of reconstructing of facts and history funded by oil money and spread by anti semites, the world now believes there is such thing as the Palestinians who where refugees when Israel was founded.

There where more Jews kicked out of Arab lands then nomads and arabs that willing left what is now Israel. Before Israel was created the arabs didn’t call themselves Palestinians, they called themselves “Southern Syrians”. The segment of land was divided into Jordan for the Muslims, and Israel for the jews. But after Israel started winning wars against the arab nations,  the Arab counties paid people and emptied their jails into what they called “refugee camps”. They purposely left them in a state of neglect and  didn’t let them into their counties. The arabs realized they would have no chance to defeat Israel on a military level so they created a class of people to try to break the will of the Israelis through Guerilla warfare.

Some jews love peace so much they are blinded by it. In their blinded state some jews and factions of the government that wanted political power tried to help out their unfortunate pali neighbors (I am now going to refer to “Palestinians” as Pali). The more Israel gives or acknowledge the existence of the fictional palis the more power the palis gain and the more jews they end up killing.   Jordan got sick of the palis and killed thousands of them during black september but the world said nothing.  “Palis” use children as human shieds and when one dies the media manipulation called Paliwood funded with oil money cause the world to cause condemnation.

Israelis have a great value for human life and they respect the lives of even their enemies. This causes palliwood to have to make up deaths like the Al Dura tapes. Where the french media showed and caused world outrage on a fictional killing. If you look farther in the tape the boy is not dead and he gets up. It is just sick that the french media aired this piece of propaganda. The Al Dura tapes gave rise to the second intifada which took the lives of thousands of innocent jews. Al Queda in Iraq gave the Al Dura tapes as justification of beheading Daniel Pearl.

The United States pressured Israel into giving the most historically Jewish regions in Israel over to the Palis which will use them as launching grounds to try to destroy Israel and to “push all the jews to the sea.” The anti semites at the state department give hundreds of millions of dollars and guns to the palis knowing full well that almost all of the money is going to be embezzled and used to buy weapons to kill jews, while keeping the average pali in a state of poverty. When foreign governments have given the “Pali” enough money to build every family a 2 story house with a pool.

Most of the Israelis know anything they give to the Palis will just be used to try to kill them. A vast majority of the people do not want to give the Palis any land. However, politicians that want to stay in power and lefty loons in Israel believe that by making consions they will appease the Palis but if you listen to their “moderate leaders” and watch their “moderate leaders” actions the appeasing branch of the Israeli people are wrong.

I started writing this proposal when the news that the “Palestinian” jihadis attacked Israel when Israel was trying to give give their enemy fuel. This news came as no shock to me, niether did the news that palis where planning on lacing the plates at a restaurant they work at with poison. If Israel gives the palis jobs they will use the jobs to try to kill Israelis. The same thing is true with land. Israel should not be supplying its enemy anything especially fuel. What do you think they use to launch several rockets at civilians everyday?  Fuel. The utter blindness of some of Israels leaders to agree to supply the terrorist with weapons to kill jews just socks me.

The solution to the “palestinian” problem is Israel should move all the so called “Palestinian” out of the Judea and Summeria and into Gaza. If Jordan, Egypt or any of the other arab counties that are a million times bigger then Israel want to take them it would be great. But I doubt the arabs want to give up their most effective strategy to destroy Israel.  The palis are turing the world favor against the only free democratic society in the middle east. Jews have been hated with out just cause through out history but the jews suffer most when they lose faith in G-d. The arab states see that following Mohammeds example and through lying and deception they are causing more jews to lose their faith in Israel and G-d. Hopefully the Jews will not fall for the same trap that the pedophile blood lusting profit pulled on the Jews in the Koran.

So once you get the Palestinians in to Gaza build a Large wall and missile shied around gaza and let the Jihadis figure their own problems out. I am sure the international community will condemn Israel but it is already condemning Israel for defending itself. If Israel just follows this course it will be able to flourish with out the guerrilla armies of the arab states trying to kill every jew they have a chance to in Jewish land. Israel should just take these actions to protect themselves.

Gaza has Egypt to the south. I am sure the world can pressure Egypt to provide fuel electricity and food. The Egypt is one of the greatest recipients of US foreign aid thanks to Carter and I am sure it would not want to give that up. So I am sure Egypt can supply the palis with fuel electricity, water, and food.

Israel should not supply food, water, fuel or anything to these terrorist. It is not Israelis fault these people that call themselves “Palestinians” have started a death cult and use their land and everything else Israel has given them to attack Israel instead of grow food and starting an economy.  If you see what they are indoctrinating their children with you will see there is no chance that the “Palestinians” would ever have a lasting true peace with Israel.

I am going to add pictures, links, and videos when I have time.

PS I know there are grammar mistakes this is a blo,g not the MSM or a book. I will fix them at a later time.

Ma’an News-Hatred Funded by Denmark and the Netherlands

Posted by avideditor on April 6, 2008

Ma’an News-Hatred Funded by Denmark and the Netherlands: “
Its one thing for a news organization to be biased in its coverage, it worse when they are just snakes. Ma’an news, a Palestinian News agency, has a major case of Eddie Haskell Syndrome. For those of you who were born after the Beatles broke up, Eddie Haskell was a character on the TV show Leave it to Beaver. Eddie’s two trademarks are his sugary politeness to adults and his sharp-tongued meanness to everybody else. Eddie would be in the middle of calling his buddies names an if their mother would enter the room he would stop on a dime and utter something like ‘Good Morning Mrs. Cleaver, MY, what a pretty dress you have on’

The Ma’an news has two version one in English (which I read) and the other in Arabic. The English one reports with a bias, but actually breaks some interesting stories which have been posted on this blog. The Arabic version spews hatred and does its best to incite Palestinians against Israel, Jews and the Western World. And the sick part of it all—its funded by Denmark and the Netherlands. As Hamlet said, ‘Things Be Rotten in the State of Denmark’ The report below is from Palestinian Media Watch

Netherlands and Denmark fund terror glorification, hate language of Palestinian news agency By Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook

A Palestinian news agency that receives financial support from the governments of The Netherlands and Denmark glorifies terrorists, releases news stories using hate language and is a highly politicized, hate-promoting news organization. Paradoxically, Ma’an News claims to be ‘objective, accurate, balanced’ and to ‘increase Palestinian media credibility,’ according to its web site.

1- Ma’an Honoring Terrorists and Murderers as Shahids

Ma’an has glorified the recent Palestinian murderer of eight Israeli yeshiva students, the Dimona suicide terrorist, the killers of the two Israeli hikers and the terrorists who attacked a boys’ high school with the very highest Islamic status attainable, elevating them to the status of ‘Shahids’ or ‘Martyrs for Allah.’ According to the accepted Palestinian interpretation of Islam, there is no higher status that a Muslim can achieve today than that of Shahid. In defining terrorist murderers as ‘Shahids,’ Ma’an is by definition sending its readers a straightforward message of honor for the killers, and approval for the many murders. Negative or dishonorable actions could not elevate an individual to Shahid status. (See below for full sources.)

In its English versions of these reports, Ma’an did not honor the terrorists as ‘Shahids’ or use the similar English term ‘Martyrs.’Note, for example, the difference in Ma’an reporting on the murder of the two hikers:

Ma’an Arabic News

Ma’an English News

‘Two of the operatives died as Shahids.’ [Dec. 28, 2007]

‘Two Israelis, two Palestinians killed by gunfire near Hebron.’

The explanation for this and all other discrepancies between Ma’an’s English and Arabic reporting is that this politically-charged Arabic terminology, together with the examples of Ma’an’s use of hate-language (below), would readily expose Ma’an’s lack of professionalism and messages of approval of terror if repeated in English. In addition, it must be assumed that the governments of The Netherlands and Denmark would be outraged to know they are funding terror glorification and hate journalism.

2 – Suicide Bombers: Ma’an uses term of higher honor: Shahada-Seekers

With regard to suicide terrorists Ma’an goes even further. According to Islam, someone who intentionally seeks Shahada – death for Allah – is greater than someone who achieves Shahada while not actively hoping to die. The Arabic term Istishhadi – Shahada- Seeker- is used by terror organizations to define and add a higher status of honor specifically to suicide terrorists .

Ma’an has followed this lead in its Arabic reporting of the Dimona suicide bombing that killed one Israeli woman and critically injured her husband. Note the apolitical report by Ma’an in English, where the suicide bomber is reported to be just that, ‘a bomber,’ followed by the Arabic Ma’an reports that use the term of highest honor, ‘Shahada-Seekers.’

Ma’an Arabic News

Ma’an English News

‘Ma’an – Senior military figure [Abu Al-Walid] of the Al-Aqsa Brigades in Gaza, rejected the suspicion that Israel aroused regarding the identity of the two Shahada-Seekers, who carried out the Dimona action… Pictures of the two Shahada-Seekers etc …’

[February 5, 2008]

‘Al-Aqsa Brigades dispel doubts about identity of second Dimona bomber

Speaking to Ma’an on Tuesday, Abu Al-Walid reiterated that the bombers were Luay Al-Ghawani and Mousa Arafat … Israeli security officials had expressed doubt about the validity of the image of the second bomber.’

Note also that under similar pictures of the mothers of the bombers, Ma’an uses the objective caption in English: ‘Mother of suspected bomber,’ and the honor caption in Arabic: ‘Mothers of the Shahada-Seekers‘.

Ma’an Arabic caption

3- Ma’an denies Israel’s right to exist- all Israel is ‘Occupation’

Ma’an uses very politicized hate language to routinely reject Israel’s right to exist, and even to deny Israel’s existence. For example, when reporting on Israeli Arab doctors who visited Gaza, Ma’an defined them in Arabic as ‘Palestinian doctors from inside ‘Occupied Palestine’,’ Ma’an’s term for Israel. In this case, Ma’an’s English language report on this story followed similar hate language:

‘Palestinian doctors from 1948 territories [another Ma’an euphemism for Israel] visit Gaza… A delegation of doctors from Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, from outside of the Green Line, visited the Gaza Strip.’ [February 29, 2008]

In this article to deny Israel’s legitimacy on its land, Ma’an went out of its way to use a particularly awkward hate expression. Instead of using the simple, accurate and apolitical wording, ‘doctors from Israel,’ Ma’an used 13 cumbersome, politically-charged hate words to describe the doctors’ origins:

Ma’an political language

Accurate apolitical language

‘doctors from Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, from outside of the Green Line’

‘doctors from Israel’

It is also important to note that later in the same article, Ma’an used the term ‘Israel’ as follows: ‘…crippling siege led by Israel.’ The difference is striking. When referring to the land or location – Ma’an called Israel ‘Occupied Palestine.’ In referring to the government of Israel or criticizing Israeli policy Ma’an used ‘Israel.’ (See other examples below.)

Finally, since Israel’s very existence is presented by Ma’an as an ‘Occupation,’ the Israeli army in Arabic is referred to with hate language identical to that used by the terrorist organizations: ‘the occupation forces.’ Here, as in some of the cases above, Ma’an avoids the hate language in English. One example is a Ma’an report after Israel arrested three suspected terrorists.]

Ma’an Arabic News

Ma’an English News

Occupation forces arrest …’

[March 25, 2008]

Israeli forces raid …’

See below a list of examples where Ma’an glorifies terrorists and uses hate language.

PMW comment:

Last year PMW documented that Ma’an used this politicized hate language after the suicide terror attack in the Israeli city of Eilat. [See PMW Bulletin]

In Arabic, Ma’an had reported that Eilat was ‘in the south of occupied Palestine,’ the mother of the terrorist was said to be from the ‘occupied city of Jaffa’, though Jaffa is part of Tel Aviv, and Ma’an had honored the suicide bomber as a Shahid.

We find it surprising and unfortunate that the governments of The Netherlands and Denmark continue to fund this hate journalism without demanding a change. Hate incitement, including denial of Israel’s existence and glorifying terror, is universally accepted as a paramount cause of continued Palestinian terror. These governments, together with governments who have blindly funded Palestinian schoolbooks, bear direct moral responsibility for the continued hatred that is being ingrained into future Palestinian generations, and bear a moral responsibility for the terror and its victims.

The following are additional examples of Ma’an using hate language and honoring terrorists.

Ma’an grants Shahid status to all terrorists in recent terror attacks. The following are in addition to examples above.

1. Jerusalem Yeshiva terror attack – 8 students killed:

Ma’an Arabic News:

‘8 dead and two Shahids in the Jerusalem Operation. The operatives were from [village of] Jabal Mukbar…’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, March 6, 2008]

2. Terror attack in High School in Kfar Ezion:

Ma’an Arabic News:

‘Ma’an discloses the identity of the two Shahids from the Ezion operation.’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, January 24 , 2008]

3. Two hikers ambushed and murdered as they strolled on nature walk

Ma’an Arabic News:

‘Two of the operatives died as Shahids, two more were injured and two Israeli soldiers were killed.’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, December 28, 2007]

Ma’an English News:

‘Two Israelis, two Palestinians killed by gunfire near Hebron.’

[Ma’an, English news, December 28, 2007]

4. Suicide Terror attack in Dimona- one woman killed:

Ma’an Arabic News:

‘Ma’an – Senior military figure [Abu Al-Walid] of the Al-Aqsa Brigades in Gaza, rejected the suspicion that Israel aroused regarding the identity of the two Shahada-Seekers, who carried out the Dimona action… Pictures of the two Shahada-Seekers etc …’

Ma’an English News:

‘Speaking to Ma’an on Tuesday, Abu Al-Walid reiterated that the bombers were Luay Al-Ghawani and Mousa Arafat’ [ English news, February 5, 2008]

Ma’an news releases promote the hate message that Israel has no right to exist, calling Israel ‘Occupied Palestine’ or ‘territories occupied after 1948,’ Israel’s government the ‘Occupation Authority’ and its soldiers the ‘Occupation forces.’ Note also when Israel is mentioned it is often put within quotation marks- a common linguistic method to express non-recognition.

1.’The Occupation authorities [editor: replaces ‘Israeli authorities’] have been enforcing severe restrictions since the morning hours on the entrance of residents to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and even on the entrance into the city of Jerusalem within the borders of the occupation municipality [editor: replaces ‘Jerusalem’]. They have prevented hundreds of the residents of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, [editor: replaces ‘Israel’] who hold blue ‘Israeli’ identity cards from…’

[Ma’an, Arabic news, February 29, 2008]

2.’He said that 72 prisoners have died as Shahids during the al-Aqsa intifada, 58 of them from the West Bank, one from the territories occupied since 1948 [editor: replaces ‘Israel’] and 13 from the Gaza Strip…’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, February 29, 2008]

3.’In a research paper he published on the issue of the number of prisoners of Palestine which has been occupied since 1948 (The ‘inside’ prisoners) [editor: replaces ‘Israeli prisoners’], he emphasized that this number is an important number in the equation of the historical and cultural struggle against the Israeli occupier…’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, March 15, 2008]

Note in this previous example that instead of just writing the single word ‘Israel,’ Ma’an used a very long term: Palestine which has been occupied since 1948. However, Ma’an itself felt the need to further explain its own cumbersome usage by adding in parentheses, (‘inside’ prisoners) meaning ‘Israeli Arab prisoners.’ It shows again that Ma’an is willing to burden its readers with linguistic contortions, rather than use simple and accurate language which would indicate recognition of Israel. In this case the language it avoided writing was ‘Arab prisoners from Israel.’

4. ‘Dr. al-Asta did not compare the outlook… to one who lives in the racist Ghetto in Occupied Palestine…’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, February 24, 2008]

5. ‘A delegation of doctors from Palestinian territories occupied since 1948… visited the Gaza Strip.’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, March 17, 2008]

6. Discrepancies between English and Arabic reports:

Ma’an Arabic Report:

‘The occupation forces’ detained 3 residents in Bethlehem and al-Duha’. [Ma’an, Arabic news, March 25, 2008]

Ma’an English Report:

‘Israeli forces raid Bethlehem and seize 3 Palestinians’

[Ma’an, English news, March 25, 2008]

Ma’an Arabic Report:

‘The Israeli occupation army seized the town of Kafin afternoon today, Wednesday…’ [Ma’an, Arabic news, March 26, 2008]

Ma’an EnglishReport:

‘Israeli forces stormed the town of Kafin in the West Bank Wednesday…’ [Ma’an, English news, March 26, 2008

Peaceful PalArab weekend

Posted by avideditor on April 6, 2008

Peaceful PalArab weekend: “Someone broke a woman’s skull and set her body on fire north of Hebron, killing her. UPDATE: It was he victim’s daughter-in-law.

A Qassam rocket meant to kill Jews fell short and that innocent ‘firecracker’ killed a Palestinian man instead. (Ma’an blames Israel, although AP and Reuters both interviewed residents who confirmed it was a Qassam, as does Palestine Press Agency, proving again that Ma’an has turned into a Hamas newspaper.)

A 21-year old Hamas member was killed in Gaza; Hamas says that it was either an accident or suicide while his family sdays it was murder because of an intra-Hamas disagreement.

Our 2008 Palestinian Arab self-death count is now at 55.

US ambassador: Jews will just have to leave Jerusalem

Posted by avideditor on March 20, 2008

Anyone that believes in liberty over tyranny needs to appeal to the Bush administration to remove the current US ambassador. He is trying to take away the liberty of Jews and replace it with the tyranny of the Islamo-fascist terrorist. Jews have been living in Jerusalem for thousands of year. There already is a Palestinian state it is called Jordan. The drive of the Jihadis will not stop at Jerusalem or G-d forbid all of Israel, they want to control the world. If you do not stand up to them now. Your children will be forced to wear burkas. It is time Israel turns around and goes on its own road before it is to late. Road MapUS ambassador: Jews will just have to leave Jerusalem:

http://www.israeltoday.co.il/default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=15485US Ambassador to Israel Richard Jones suggested during a tour of overcrowded Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem on Monday that many Jews will just have to move out of the capital rather than expand into parts of the city claimed by the Palestinians.Jones told said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post that Washington is growing increasingly displeased with Jewish housing projects on the eastern side of Jerusalem, which are certain to hinder efforts to conclude a peace deal along the lines of US President George W. Bush’s vision for the region The American envoy said he is well aware of the lack of Jewish housing in Jerusalem, but in a remark betraying a lack of understanding regarding Jewish historical and spiritual connection to the city Jones concluded that ‘sometimes people do have to move to a different location. They cannot always stay close to their families.’ He insisted that more important than the Jews’ restoration to their biblical capital and heartland is Israel’s implementation of commitments made as part of the US-driven Road Map peace process, even if unreciprocated by the Palestinians.Jones ended the interview by all but justifying the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing failure to meet its primary obligations to curb anti-Israel violence and incitement by stating that ‘it is not easy for either side to move ahead when they see the provocative behavior of the other side.'”

Palestinian children wear white and fake blood as they march during a rally against Israeli strikes in Gaza, in the Jebaliya refugee camp, northern Gaza Strip, Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. NOW GET A LOAD OF THIS18 Mar, 1968 2 killed, 28 children injured in landmine attack on school bus in Negev desert6 Mar, 1969 29 injured (mostly students) by bomb in cafeteria at Hebrew University, Jerusalem8 May, 1970 there was a brutal attack on an Israeli school bus by Palestinian terrorists who crossed the Lebanese border.Avivim, an agricultural community established in 1963, is just metres from the border with Lebanon. Settled and built from the ground up by Moroccan immigrants, the majority of the residents belonged to one of two families; Peretz or Biton. The local council bus picked up children each morning to take them to two schools. The terrorists knew the schedule of the bus and were able to ambush it. They fired on the bus, killing the adults instantly. The bus driver continued until he himself was shot. Then the bus crashed, injuring many of the remaining children. The attack caused the death of 9 children (aged between six and nine) and 3 adults, and left 19 others crippled for life.20 May, 1970 12 killed, 19 injured (mostly children) in attack on school bus with three bazooka rockets11 April , 1974 a team of three members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine General Command penetrated the Israeli border town of Kiryat Shmona from Lebanon. Although they had apparently been instructed to take hostages, they instead entered an apartment building and killed all eighteen residents they found there, including nine children. The terrorists then barricaded themselves in one of the apartments and were eventually killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli forces.May 15, 1974 (Israel’s Independence Day) a group of 11th grade students from Safed (Tsfat) were on a field trip to the Golan, a full day of hikes. That night, the children were housed at a school in Ma’alot where they slept on the floor. During the night, three Arab terrorists dressed as IDF soldiers attacked the school, killing the guard and some of the children. Some of the children escaped by jumping out of a window on the second floor and the rest were held as hostages. In the morning the terrorists were identified as members of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) who had infiltrated from Lebanon. The DFLP is a Marxist-Leninist and formerly pro-Soviet group that split from the Popular Font for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in 1969. They presented their demands: release Arab terrorists from Israeli prisons, or they will start to kill the children. The deadline was set at 6:00PM the same day.The Knesset met in emergency session. Although Israel’s policy forbid negotiation with terrorists, the plight of the children forced an exception. By 3:00PM a decision was reached to negotiate, but the terrorists refused a request for more time.At 5:45PM a unit of the elite Golani brigade stormed the building. All of the terrorists were killed in the assault, but not before they took the lives of 21 children. There were a total of 26 victims, including several people murdered by the terrorists on their way to the school the night before.

In Beirut, eloquent demonstrations honoring the fallen fedayeen as noble martyrs of the cause were ordered by Nayef Hawatmeh, the DFLP leader.

Hamas threatens to hit infrastructure

Hamas’s armed wing, Izaddin al-Kassam, on Sunday threatened to attack infrastructure facilities inside Israel, including schools, hospitals and universities. The threat, the first of its kind since Hamas won the parliamentary election last January, was issued in response to continued Israeli military strikes in the Gaza Strip.

‘If they continue with these attacks, we will strike at targets in Zionist territory that we have not struck until now,’ said the organization’s spokesman.

JERUSALEM — A mass shooting in a Jewish religious school in Jerusalem last night killed at least eight people and wounded 10 others, dealing a near-lethal blow to fragile Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. It was the largest such attack in the city since the height of the intifada in 2003, and the worst single-incident death toll from a Palestinian attack since a 2006 suicide bombing at a falafel stand in Tel Aviv that killed nine.Despite initial witness reports of two attackers, Israeli police said later there was just one gunman, shot dead inside the school’s library. The gunman entered the school, or yeshiva, just after 8:30 p.m., and was said to have hidden his gun inside a bag or cardboard box. He began shooting in the entrance before moving to the library.Yitzhak Danon, a student, told Israel’s Channel 2 television that an Arab man wearing torn jeans fired for several minutes at students in the library, using an AK-47 assault rifle. ‘I saw the gunman, and he fired a long burst in the air. But then he disappeared,’ Mr. Danon said. ‘I saw him again when he approached the door of the library. I shot him twice in the head. He started to sway and then someone else with a rifle fired at him, and he died.’That shot was fired by an Israeli army officer who lived nearby and came running when he heard gunfire. The shooting was still going on even as the first ambulances arrived. ‘They was still shooting when we got here,’ paramedic Yaron Tzuker told Israel’s Channel 10 television. ‘We took cover and the ambulance was hit. It’s horrible inside – dead bodies and wounded – it’s horrific.’

Hamas supporters in Jebaliya camp, northern Gaza Strip, celebrate the attack on a Jewish seminary March 6, 2008. Hamas vows more attacks

GAZA CITY–Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip praised yesterday’s deadly attack on a rabbinical seminary and thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of Gaza to celebrate.

Hamas stopped just short of claiming responsibility for the Jerusalem shootings, which left nine people dead including the gunman.

‘We bless the operation. It will not be the last,’ Hamas said in a statement sent to reporters by text message.

At mosques in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, many residents performed prayers of thanksgiving, only performed in cases of great victory.

The United Nations, United States, Russia, France, Britain and Germany all condemned the school shooting.

Bush assured Ehud Olmert, the Israeli Prime Minister, of full US support.

How many times do we hear this from how many leaders over the last forty years, since the 18 Mar, 1968 where the pali scum where behind 2 killed, 28 children injured in landmine attack on school bus in Negev desert

Palestinian Muslims celebrate the cold-blooded murder of eight Jewish seminary students in the name of their god.

Israel gunman’s identity revealed

Alaa Abu Idheim, 26, was a bus driver who lived with his family on School Street on Jbel (Mountain in Arabic) Mukhaber, a high piece of ground overlooking Jerusalem to the south of the city.

He drove for a bus company that specialised in driving schoolchildren and students. Israeli police were investigating reports Abu Idheim had driven students from the yeshiva he attacked on Thursday night.

His home lies within East Jerusalem, the traditionally Arab part of the city, and from the point of view of the Israeli security services, Abu Idheim’s emergence as a terrorist was a nightmare scenario.

For the past four years Israel has built at huge expense, both financially and in terms of international standing, a barrier to keep the 2.4 million Palestinians in the West Bank separate from Israel.

The barrier – a wall in some areas and a fence in others – was supposed to provide safety for Israelis by making it difficult for hostile Arabs to get at them.

But East Jerusalem was kept on the Israeli side of the wall and its 200,000-strong Arab population have no wall or fence separating them from Israelis.

The fact Abu Idheim came from this population means the Israeli security services must rethink completely in terms of controlling East Jerusalem’s Arab population.Within minutes of his being shot dead, his East Jerusalem identity document – coloured distinctive Israeli blue rather than the orange of a West Bank – had alerted Israeli police to this awkward fact.

They rushed round to School Street and, according to neighbours, arrested several members of Abu Idheim’s family and took them in for questioning.

By early morning yesterday FRI the family’s compound had been turned into a funeral tent for Abu Idheim with plastic chairs lined up to receive mourners and flags of resistance movements hostile to Israeli flapping in the early spring breeze.

There were the green flags of Hamas, the militant Palestinian group, a yellow one symbolising Hizbollah, the Lebanese shia group, and a single, stark black flag to represent mourning.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — For the second time in two months, Libya on Thursday blocked the U.N. Security Council from condemning violence and unrest in the Middle East.

In closed-door discussion among the 15-nation council’s diplomats, Libya insisted the statement should be ‘balanced’ by including condemnation of Israeli actions in Gaza, a Libyan U.N. representative said after the meeting.
