Video of North Caucasus Mujahedin Fighting Alongside Russia and Abkhazia Against Georgia in 1992-93

During the separatist war in Abkhazia against Georgia in 1992-1993, the KGB hired mujahedin under the banner of the murabitun group “Confederation of Mountain Peoples of the Caucasus” (leaving aside the inclusion of dhimmi Islamo-Christian Armenians allured by pan-Caucasianism [!] fighting alongside their future [and past] masters and persecutors [compare with the Leftist alliance with Salafiyyah in the Iranian Revolution and Tajik Civil War]) as mercenaries to engage in battle and in many cases massacre the Georgian Orthodox mushrikun population, which Russia still aims to annex to its resurgent empire and (in direct contrast) the mujahedin believe themselves obligated to incorporate into their own imperial Caliphate, al-Dawla al-Islamiyya. The (late) infamous Chechen ghazi Shamil Basayev, later wanted by the Russian government as an architect of the October 2002 Moscow Theater hostage crisis and the Beslan Massacre in North Ossetia-Alania in September 2004, was an erstwhile “ally” (in the evidently Machiavellian sense) with Russia in the Abkhaz War of Secession; as Amir al-Mu’minin of one of these mujahedin battalions, he was ultimately responsible for the bloody ghazw known as the Sukhumi Massacre committed wantonly against Georgian civilians in the Abkhazian capital city of Sukhumi on September 27, 1993. This phenomenon of the “Bear” using Jaish Muhammad to its own advantage, keeping in mind the brutality inculcated as a result of of the doctrine of al-wala’a wa’l-bara’a (so often invoked by mujahedin), as a destabilizing mercenary army against persistent roadblocks to Russian imperial glory, serves to demonstrate the Russian Federation’s primacy in subsidizing and arming and even using mujahedin for what she perceives as reasons within her own self-interest — to expand her neo-Tsarist empire — despite her ongoing struggle in the North Caucasus with aforesaid Islamic supremacists whose services she nevertheless so readily outsources, those zealous ghazis of Allah who are intent on establishing a hegemonic Shari’a state in the Caucasus and ultimately plan to declare outright jihad al-talab wa’l-ibtida’ against Moscow itself. In other words, Russia is tied to the hip, so to speak, with the same Muhammadan “holy warriors” that persist in attacking the hand that feeds them, that is to say the Russians. While most Abkhaz residing within the de facto Russian client state Abkhazia are Orthodox Christian, there is a significant and vocal Muslim minority led by Mufti Timur Dzyba, who has articulated his plans to (re-)Islamize Abkhazia by repatriating Muslims (muhajirun) from Asia Minor and the Northern Caucasus, including the majority-Muslim Abkhaz of Turkey. It would be no exaggeration to estimate that within a short period of time, Abkhazia may return to being majority-Muslim as it was pre-1864 (before being annexed by the Romanovs), while it was under Osmanli Turkish suzeiranty, in its status an inseparable fai’ territory of al-Khilaafah, as a base from which akin and haramlik (raids and incursions) would be conducted against Christians (Slavs, Georgians, Latins, Circassians, Finno-Ugrics) in Russian crown territories, in search of maal-e-ghanimaat, ma malakat aymanukum to be sold in the avret bazar (female sex-slave market), and ultimately futuhat and Islamization.
