Full Text of Michele Bachmann’s response to the State of the Union

I posted the video here

She was great even though they did not get the camera directly behind the telepromtor.

C Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota, responded to President Obama’s State of the Union speech on Tuesday night from the Tea Party Express headquarters. Here is a transcript of Bachmann’s speech.

Bachmann: Good evening. My name is Congresswoman Michele Bachmann from Minnesota’s 6th District.
I want to thank the Tea Party Express and Tea Party HD for inviting me to speak this evening. I’m here at their request and not to compete with the official Republican remarks.
The Tea Party is a dynamic force for good in our national conversation, and it’s an honor for me to speak with you.
Two years ago, when Barack Obama became our president, unemployment was 7.8%, and our national debt stood at what seemed like a staggering $10.6 trillion. We wondered whether the president would cut spending, reduce the deficit and implement real job-creating policies.
Unfortunately, the president’s strategy for recovery was to spend a trillion dollars on a failed stimulus program, fueled by borrowed money. The White House promised us that all the spending would keep unemployment under 8%. Not only did that plan fail to deliver, but within three months, the national jobless rate spiked to 9.4%. It hasn’t been lower for 20 straight months. While the government grew, we lost more than 2 million jobs.

West Bank Palestinians protest against Al Jazeera yelling “AlJazeera you whore”

From Ynet: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas returned to a hero’s welcome in the West Bank on Tuesday, making his first public appearance at home since Al-Jazeera published embarrassing documents showing him making broad concessions to Israel in peace talks.
Greeted by hundreds of supporters at his headquarters in Ramallah, Abbas vowed to weather the storm over the leaks, which have highlighted the gap between his tough public positions on sensitive issues and the offers he has made to Israel behind closed doors. Opponents have accused him of treason.
“Our trust is first in God and in our people, and in ourselves that we are on the right path to get back our people’s rights,” Abbas told the crowd, shortly after returning from Egypt.
About 200 to 300 protesters gathered outside the channel’s downtown Ramallah office for the second day Tuesday, chanting “Al-Jazeera, you whore,” as a cordon of police blocked the crowd from advancing. Some in the crowd burned Al-Jazeera logos they had printed on paper.

Ghailani Sentenced To Life In Prison For African Embassy Bombings

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

Only life. That jihadis needs to be killed have his body wrapped in pig skins just like the fellow jihadis. A roof over his head and 3 square meals a day is enough punishment IMHO.
From Here Ghailani Sentenced To Life In Prison For African Embassy Bombings

Despite being found not guilty on 280 counts of murder/attempted murder but guilty of a single charge of conspiracy to destroy government property, Ahmed Ghailani was sentenced to life in prison for the deadly African embassy bombings.

The nearly simultaneous attacks in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, killed 224 people and wounded thousands.

Mr. Ghailani, 36, was convicted on Nov. 17 of a single count of conspiracy to destroy government buildings and property, while being acquitted of more than 280 charges of murder and conspiracy.

But the many acquittals seemed to carry little weight with the judge, Lewis A. Kaplan of United States District Court, who, before imposing the sentence, said that “Mr. Ghailani knew and intended that people would be killed as a result of his own actions and the conspiracy he joined.”

The judge rejected the defense’s request for a lesser sentence, saying, “The very purpose of the crime was to create terror by causing death and destruction.”

Mr. Ghailani, in the six years that the government says that he was a fugitive after the attacks, trained in Afghanistan with Al Qaeda, and later became a bodyguard for Osama bin Laden. He was captured in 2004 after a 14-hour gun battle with Pakistani authorities.

He will likely spend the rest of his life in Supermax.

The judge got this one right. The conspiracy to carry out the attacks was done to maximize the body count and inflict terror on the populace. The only suitable sentence was life in prison, so while it was unfortunate that the jury could not find him guilty on the hundreds of murder and other sundry charges, the end result is that he was still never going to live to see another day as a free man.

Stand up to the Jihadis even if you are a politician you get a Fatwa.

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

Jihadis are taking over Britian and issuing Fatwas to anyone that stands up to them why we need the EDL. Previously posted EDL Mission Statement WHY THE ENGLISH DEFENSE LEAGUE IS GREAT

From Fatwa issued against British MP Theresa May

In England.

“Wanted posters issuing a Fatwa against Home Secretary Theresa May have appeared in Tooting town centre overnight.

“The Western-style, professionally-printed posters have been plastered on phone boxes, bus shelters and even the town’s message board close to Tooting Broadway Tube station.

“They claim the Fatwa – a term sometimes used to mean an Islamic death sentence imposed upon a person – is ‘for the abduction, kidnapping and false imprisonment’ of various radical clerics.”

Article here.

From the Islamic extremist website mentioned in the above article:

Part of the fatwa:

“Subsequently, as a response to this extremely critical situation and having been left with no other alternative, a Fatwa has been launched against the head of internal affairs and national security, Theresa May.

“We understand the seriousness of this religious verdict, and will be releasing further information in due course. We ask Allah (SWT) to protect the Muslim captives wherever they may be and to give us the ability to implement His decree on the oppressors.”

Ackerman exposed the J Street for there anti-Israel and anti-Jew stance

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

J Street hit a new low. Ackerman exposes them for their anti Israel and anti Jew stance

From Ackerman Lowers the Boom on J Street

My sense that J Street crossed a line by urging the Obama administration endorsement of a one-sided UN resolution condemning Israel is vindicated by this remarkable statement just issued by Rep. Gary Ackerman, the top Democrat on the House’s Middle East Subcommittee:

ACKERMAN BLASTS J-STREET SUPPORT FOR UN CONDEMNATION OF ISRAEL

U.S. Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY), the presumed Ranking Democratic member of the House Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia issued the following statement today:

“After learning of J-Street’s current public call for the Obama Administration to not veto a prospective UN Security Council resolution that, under the rubric of concern about settlement activity, would effectively and unjustly place the whole responsibility for the current impasse in the peace process on Israel, and—critically—would give fresh and powerful impetus to the effort to internationally isolate and delegitimize Israel, I’ve come to the conclusion that J-Street is not an organization with which I wish to be associated.

It is not Israel that is refusing to enter final status negotiations. It is not Israel that has refused again and again to make unilateral gestures of good faith (recall the hundreds of West Bank security checkpoints and roadblocks removed, and the 10 month settlement freeze). It is not Israel that is now trying to force the peace process back in to the same dead-end from which the Obama Administration has spent the past month trying to extract itself. But astonishingly, it is Israel that J-Street would put in the stocks in the public square.

“The King’s Speech” – a conservative movie – leads Oscar nominations

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

Just finished watching it. I highly recommend it. Great conservative values and an amazing movie.

From http://pajamasmedia.com/tatler/2011/01/25/the-kings-speech-a-conservative-movie-leads-oscar-nominations/

“The King’s Speech” – an unabashedly pro-royalty, anti-fascist film – has received the most Oscar nominations (12) for this year’s Academy Awards. Does this mean that the normally liberal Academy has had a political conversation to the Dark Side? No. It shows that good filmmaking can sometimes trump ideology.

But it may reveal more than that. Movie business liberalism is only skin deep. It is all very much a show for self-aggrandizement. Deep down, they respond like the rest of us. They just won’t admit it. Unless the movie’s as good as “The King’s Speech.”

It Finally Breaks…Lebanese Protests Erupt Against the Planned Hezbollah Takeover

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

It looks like the Jihadis are trying to take over Lebanon.
From http://holgerawakens.blogspot.com/2011/01/it-finally-breakslebanese-protests.html

It was mostly the Sunni Muslims of Lebanon that let loose today in Lebanon in a fit of rage over the continued move by Hezbollah to take over Lebanon…which culminated with Hezbollah’s nominee for Prime Minister Najib Mikati garnering more parliamentary votes than the present Prime Minister. Hezbollah has named their puppet leader, a former Prime Minister, and he won by 8 more votes – the news did not go over well with Sunnis and I’m sure it didn’t go over well with Christians and Druze, either.

Rep. Allen West – ‘If Taiwan Can’t Fly Flag, Why Can PLO?’

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

Alen West is right. I wish he can be our next president.
From http://jewsforsarah.com/?p=6236

Gil Ronen

IsraelNationalNews

Freshman Representative Allen West (R-FL) has joined House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) in condemning the official flying of a PLO flag in Washington.

The office of Rep. West said that the raising of the flag is “an attempt to legitimize an organization with a known history of terrorist actions,” in a written news release reported in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

West’s office noted: “By allowing this flag to be flown, the United States is extending a diplomatic right that we refrain from offering to even our own allies, like Taiwan. This action is a diplomatic slap in the face of our greatest of allies, Israel.”

Both West and another Republican South Florida congressperson, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, have condemned the flag-raising. The two are asking President Barack Obama and the State Department’s Office of Foreign Missions to take back the permission that was given to the PLO to raise it.

Muslims in Pakistan Kill Other Muslims in Pakistan for not Being the Right Kind of Muslims

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

Jihadis kill there own for not being extreme enough.

From http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/206009.php

Naturally, I blame the Zionist Crusaders:

A suicide bombing that killed at least 13 people in the Pakistani city of Lahore on Tuesday targeted Shiite Muslims, a Sunni militant group’s spokesman told CNN in claiming responsibility for the attack….

Meanwhile, police in Karachi, another major Pakistani city, said one police officer was killed and five people were injured in an explosion. Authorities were investigating the cause.

Meanwhile, the relatives of “victims” in drone strikes against Pakistani targets are suing the US. I guess the lawyers haven’t found a way to make a buck by suing Tehrik-i-Talibani or Jaish Muhammad yet.

Anti Semite accuses Beck of Having a jewish problem The “Young Turk” hypocrisy

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

A strait up Jew hater pedaling in Jew hatred and lies says Glenn Beck has a jewish problem. I agree in a part. Lefty jews keep attacking him even though he is a big supporter of Jews and Israel. Beck regularly features a Rabbi on his show. Oh does the anti semite “Young Turk” is using the anti semites code words when saying Jewish problem, like Marx wrote about? I think that is what he is saying. It is laughable that some one that really hates Jews is accusing Beck of hating jews.

From Before Making False Claims Against Glenn Beck, Perhaps Cenk Uygur Should Fix His Own “Jewish Problem”

Gee whiz everyone is trying to get into the act. People keep popping out of the woodwork wanting to be spokesmen for the Jews just so they can attack Glenn Beck with false claims of Antisemitism. Most of the attacks come from the hypocriticalMedia Matters who is funded by the famous “spooky dude,” George Soros.
0_62_320_Beck_072110_wilson.jpg

Sometimes the Beck haters enlist Jewish groups, such as the ADL or the Jewish Funds for Justice to spread the Antisemitic myths obviously hoping that because they have Jewish names the charges will stick, but make no mistake about it, neither the ADL or the Jewish Funds for Justice give a “rats arse” for their Jewishness their real priority is advancing their progressive agenda.

But yesterday, the Beck haters went way beyond the pale, they enlisted Cenk Uygur to accuse Glenn Beck of Antisemitism.

Outcry over Muslim “Morality Police” operating in …Oslo, Norway

Posted by avideditor on January 25, 2011

The jihadis are installing there backwards “Morality” in Norway

From http://olehgirl.com/?p=6234

From Norway’s News in English “One of Oslo’s most multi-cultural neighborhoods, Grønland, has suddenly emerged as an area far from the ideals of cultural and religious tolerance. Many immigrants claim it’s “more Muslim” than the countries they left, and newspaper Aftenposten reports that both they and others face harassment on the streets if they don’t conform to a code of conduct that some stricter Muslims try to impose.
A form of “morality police” has evolved in recent years, mostly in Grønland but also in other areas of the Norwegian capital, and its self-appointed members are making life difficult for their fellow immigrants and some ethnic Norwegians as well.
One man from Iran, who’s not Muslim, told Aftenposten that he was scolded by two strangers who spotted him eating during the religious holiday period when Muslims are supposed to fast from sunrise to sundown. He said they confronted him by aggressively demanding “Don’t you know it’s Ramadan? You should know better.”
Young immigrant women also face harassment if they’re spotted in fashionable western clothing that members of the “morality police” think are too revealing or not in line with Muslim standards. Some women report that they’ve been yelled at, been the target of unfriendly stares, spitting or worse.Gay men have also been harassed on the streets of Grønland and nearby Tøyen. Two men seen walking hand in hand through the neighborhood, which is home to several popular bars and cafés as well as some apartment buildings known for attracting gay residents, were verbally abused last summer. One gay man from Bergen told Aftenposten he moved to Grønland because he wanted to live in a multicultural neighborhood. Now he’s almost reluctant to leave his apartment because of hostility he can face on the streets.
