DefenseMan Is Clueless

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

Defenseman is clueless. He created a libel site against great people at LGF2 like Rodan and then password protected his blog.  I created this blog as a joke in response. When are these idiots going to learn there is a work around. Every inflammatory thing they said is going to be public. If enough people want me to post the comments from there too, I will. Enjoy.

Keep in mind I do not agree with this mad man at all

Did Obama promise to deliver Israel?

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

Why do I have a sick feeling that this is true, and not a figment of ‘Palestinian’ chief negotiator bottle washer Saeb Erekat’s imagination?

Senior Fatah official Saeb Erekat claimed on Saturday that the American government gave the Palestinian Authority guarantees that it would force Israel to withdraw from Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem.

I’ll bet you can’t blame Bush for that one either.

If Obama or any of his underlings made that commitment to the ‘Palestinians,’ they are even bigger morons than I credited them with being until now.

Iran sets deadline for the West

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

Iran sets deadline for the West: “

Iran warns West it will make its own nuclear fuel.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – Iran set a one-month deadline Saturday for the West to accept its counterproposal to a U.N.-drafted nuclear plan and warned that otherwise it will produce reactor fuel at a higher level of enrichment on its own.

The warning was a show of defiance and a hardening of Iran’s stance over its nuclear program […]

‘We have given them an ultimatum. There is one month left and that is by the end of January,’ Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said, speaking on state television.

Consequences of Obama’s idiotic desire to ‘talk’. They’re definitely mocking him with the ‘deadline’.

Hundreds of cars torched in France at New Year

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

Hundreds of cars torched in France at New Year: “

Guess who did it?

PARIS (Reuters) – Youths burned 1,137 cars across France overnight as New Year’s Eve celebrations once again turned violent, the French Interior Ministry said on Friday.

Car burnings are regular occurrences in poor suburbs that ring France’s big cities, but the arson is especially prevalent during New Year’s Eve revelry.

The number of vehicles torched was only 10 short of the record 1,147 burned this time last year, even though the Interior Ministry mobilized 45,000 police during the night — 10,000 more than 12 months ago.

It said police detained 549 people overnight, compared with 288 in 2009 New Year celebrations. However, unlike in previous years, there were no direct clashes between police and youths. ‘The few disturbances that did take place were brought swiftly under control,’ the ministry said in a statement.

Norway Funds the blood libel

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

FM Store: What’s wrong with my praising
a book the Norwegian government funded?
The present Norwegian government is beyond contempt, it has crossed over from being just (typically) overly critical of Israel, into being openly hostile of Israel and anti-Semitic as well. The Norwegian government funded a project by Gilbert and Fosse, which involved their traveling to Gaza in order to cover the war between Israel and Hamas,  and then publish a book about their experiences.
The Tundra Tabloids believes that its entirely possible that they (Gilbert, Fosse and the Norwegian government) saw a chance to circumvent the Israeli ban on the medias coverage on the war in Gaza, and travel there under the guise of offering aid to the civilian population, but with the main intention to act as conduits for Hamas propaganda.

Its a fact that they became the de facto ‘mouthpiece’ for the Hamas during the war, dishing up one false story after another. Heres the video once again of Mads Gilbert and his Arab helper in an arranged scene for the CNN camera, where he makes up dialogue as his colleague gives fake heart compressions to an already dead, or even healthy boy faking it for the camera.

It’s a sad state of affairs no matter how you look at it. If the boy was indeed dead, it’s a tragedy, but it also shows the lengths at which these (supposedly) medical professionals are willing to throw their proffessionalism out the window, in order to present Israel in the worst light possible. This also shows the present Norwegian governments willingness to be complicit in the spreading of blood libels against the Jewish state of Israel. KGS

Norwegian minister under fire for praise of Cast Lead book

The Norwegian foreign minister’s praise for a controversial book accusing Israeli troops of perpetrating a ‘monstrous, systematically implemented and comprehensive massacre’ in Gaza aroused harsh criticism yesterday from Israeli officials and Jewish organizations.
Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon told Haaretz that the book being endorsed by Jonas Gahr Store is ‘outrageous and borders on incitement made up of fabrication and lies.’
‘It is problematic that a representative of a democratic government is praising such things,’ Ayalon added.
The book in question is called ‘Eyes in Gaza,’ written by Mads Gilbert and Erik Fosse after their stay in the Strip during Operation Cast Lead last year.
Dr. Moshe Kantor, president of the European Jewish Congress, said he was ‘deeply disappointed’ by Store’s endorsement of ‘slanted and baseless libel.’ ‘Norway, which I hope will continue to live far away from terrorism, needs to know that such statements feed and assist the terrorists,’ Kantor said.
‘As can be recalled, journalists and reporters were not allowed into Gaza,’ a spokesperson for the Norwegian foreign ministry said when asked about the back-cover praises which Store wrote for the highly controversial book.
‘When war rages, civilians are made mute,’ Store wrote, adding that Fosse and Gilbert ‘told of what they saw. It was not their duty, but their responsibility. When military might fences out all voices, the few which remain become extra strong and important.’
The two celebrity physicians and political activists from the Norwegian far-left frequently visit the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as part of the government-funded medical nonprofit NORWAC, and are among Norway’s fiercest critics of Israel.
Gilbert defended the book to Haaretz as ‘accurate testimony.’ ‘It turned out to be true. There was a massacre. It was no mistake, but obviously a planned, systematically implemented military operation of the Israeli army,’ Gilbert and Fosse wrote, describing an incident in which they said IDF forces put a family into a house ‘only to bomb the house the following day, full of people.’
The IDF spokesperson said no families had been targeted during Operation Cast Lead.
Another passage in the account by the two doctors reads: ‘The Israelis knew well what they were doing. The purpose was to collectively punish the entire Palestinian population of Gaza [with] a merciless slaughter of women and children, old and young, men and women.’
Cecilie Willoch, press officer for the Norwegian foreign ministry said that Store ‘expressed his personal appreciation of the medical and humanitarian work of Drs. Gilbert and Fosse in Gaza. The lack of access for the media made [these] important for international media.’ She added that Store has ‘underlined’ the fact that Gilbert and Fosse ‘only represent one voice’ of what took place.

Earlier this year Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman accused Norway of ‘promoting anti-Semitism’ and pursuing a ‘hostile policy’ toward Israel.

Anti-Israel Protestors In San Francisco In Shock – Zionist Freedom Alliance Takes Them By Storm

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

Anti-Israel Protestors In San Francisco In Shock – Zionist Freedom Alliance Takes Them By Storm: “

This story here from Israel News is pretty cool – of course, I had to go to an Israeli publication to find out what is going on in my own country but hell, it’s worth it to see the terrorist-appeasing filth of San Francisco get the tables turned on them. Let me set the stage:

All kinds of scum showed up this week in San Francisco to protest the anniversary of Israel’s Operation Cast Lead operation in Gaza. The likes of Code Pink, Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism (QUIT!), International Solidarity Movement (ISM) of Northern California, Women in Black and other groups representing the worst America has to offer showed up to bash Israel and spread their anti-semitism. China on Friday assumed the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council for the month of January.

China will perform its duty as the rotating Council president in an objective and fair way and work with other Council members to maintain international peace and security, said Zhang Yesui, China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, in a recent interview.

China will do its utmost to make sure that the Security Council works in a smooth and efficient way, Zhang added.

The Security Council presidency rotates among the Council members in the English alphabetical order of their names. Each president holds office for one calendar month. China previously assumed the presidency in October 2008.

Also on Friday, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Gabon, Lebanon [ELECTED 10/15/09] and Nigeria began their two-year terms on the 15-nation Council.

The five new Security Council members were chosen after running uncontested races for the non-permanent seats, and they were duly elected by the 192-member General Assembly during a secret ballot at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in October 2009.

C.A.I.R. Runs Ad On Times Square Super Screen: “I Am Muslim, I Am American”

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

C.A.I.R. Runs Ad On Times Square Super Screen: “I Am Muslim, I Am American”: “

I’m sure many of you saw the headline at Drudge yesterday that showed the people in Times Square being checked at security points before the big New Year’s celebration…you might not have noticed a 15 second advertisement running on the big CBS projection screen at the same time…right there in Times Square…right in the heart of New York City….right near the heart of Ground Zero. From the announcement at CAIR’s website (no, I won’t link to the trash but have the full excerpt below):

A prominent national Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization announced today that its new public service announcement (PSA), called ‘I am Muslim, I am American,’ began airing this morning on the CBS Super Screen in New York City’s Times Square.
The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said its New York chapter (CAIR-NY) produced the 15-second PSA, which will air every hour for 18 hours each day through January 16, 2010, on the 26-foot by 20-foot full-motion screen. More than one million people pass through Times Square each day.
CAIR-NY’s PSA features an American Muslim NYPD sergeant, as well as a Muslim Little League all-star, a human rights activist, a doctoral candidate, and an attorney. It begins with the statement, ‘Building Community, Serving Country.’ Viewers are encouraged to visit CAIR’s web site.

So, for those of us who will NEVER forget how radical islamic terrorists attacked the twin towers in New York City, we get to look forward to Eric Holder holding the KSM trials right there in the backyard of Ground Zero….and now, in a perfect example of jihadi ‘in your face’ taunting, the corrupt terrorist organization, C.A.I.R. (Council on American Islamic Relations) is running an advertisement showing a muslim NYPD officer. Yeah, that’s cool huh? Let the memories of fallen NYPD and NYFD be mocked each and every day by this advertisement.

We often see the tauntings of islamic madmen from around the world – the number of times that Iran’s Ahmadinejad has goaded the United States are nearly countless, but now we see this same taunting right here on our own soil. And whatever you do, don’t miss the point here. CAIR is simply saying this:

‘We are islamic terrorists, in your midst America, and we are using your laws and your traditions to cloak us in protection.’

I wonder, does CBS know that some of us aren’t very happy about this advertisement?

CAIR: NY Muslims Featured in ‘I am American’ Times Square Ad

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 12/22/09) – A prominent national Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization announced today that its new public service announcement (PSA), called ‘I am Muslim, I am American,’ began airing this morning on the CBS Super Screen in New York City’s Times Square.

To view the PSA, go to:http://www.cair.com/ny

‘This public service advertisement features ordinary American Muslims whose everyday lives are dedicated to building community and serving country,’ said CAIR-NY Community Affairs Director Faiza N. Ali. ‘This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to ensure that a fair and accurate portrayal of Islam and Muslims is presented to the American public.’

Ali added that the PSA will air during the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square, when up to one million people turn out to watch the ball drop at midnight.

‘We hope that the millions of people from around the nation and the world who view this public service announcement will return home with enhanced understanding of Islam and the American Muslim community,’ said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad. ‘Our PSA shows that American Muslims are a vital part of our nation’s social and religious fabric.’

Awad noted that a 2007 study by the Pew Research Center described American Muslims as ‘middle class’ and ‘mainstream.’ The first-ever nationwide study said American Muslims are ‘largely assimilated, happy with their lives, and moderate with respect to many of the issues that have divided Muslims and Westerners around the world.’

CAIR is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

Even The Iranians Publish Article Comparing Obama’s America To Orwell’s 1984!

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

Even The Iranians Publish Article Comparing Obama’s America To Orwell’s 1984!: “

Now, this article from Tehran Times conjures up every talking point that the mullahs of Iran have for the Great Satan, America, but I find it fascinating that the Iranians actually are putting up a British article with an American theme as George Orwell’s ‘1984’ to try and make their point. There’s only one country the Iranians hate worse than Israel and America and that is Britain, but here they are using a Brit’s column to try and make their point. I think it’s amazing to find this in an Iranian publication.

At the same time, this propaganda is all directed at trying to influence our fledgling leader in how he positions America in regards to the islamic world – in most cases, this type of flap from the Persians would be laughed off by American leaders but with this clown in charge, I don’t know. Perhaps these words will sting the young Obama. Perhaps he will feel bad that the world just hasn’t bought into the fact that he was sent to America from on High to make us the most beloved nation on earth. Perhaps, if enough of these tirades are written about the Copitulator-in-chief, he will be even more bold in extending his olive branch to the islamists.

But the fact of the matter is this…the American President, at this point in time, is like the fat kid at elementary school that everyone picked on…and he just tripped in the lunch room with a full tray of food and is sitting on the floor with lime jello in his hair, gravy hanging off his chin and a few spaghetti noodles wrapped around his ears. And the world of islamists is laughing at him. And at us.

Welcome to Orwell’s world

In Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell described a superstate, Oceania, whose language of war inverted lies that ‘passed into history and became truth. ‘Who controls the past,’ ran the Party slogan, ‘controls the future: who controls the present controls the past’.’

Barack Obama is the leader of a contemporary Oceania. In two speeches at the close of the decade, the Nobel Peace Prize-winner affirmed that peace was no longer peace, but rather a permanent war that ‘extends well beyond Afghanistan and Pakistan’ to ‘disorderly regions, failed states, diffuse enemies’. He called this ‘global security’ and invited our gratitude. To the people of Afghanistan, which the U.S. has invaded and occupied, he said wittily: ‘We have no interest in occupying your country.’

In Oceania, truth and lies are indivisible. According to Obama, the American attack on Afghanistan in 2001 was authorized by the United Nations Security Council. There was no UN authority. He said that ‘the world’ supported the invasion in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks. In truth, all but three of 37 countries surveyed by Gallup expressed overwhelming opposition. He said that America invaded Afghanistan ‘only after the Taliban refused to turn over Osama Bin Laden’. In 2001, the Taliban tried three times to hand over Bin Laden for trial, Pakistan’s military regime reported, and they were ignored.

‘Hearts and minds’

Even Obama’s mystification of the 9/11 attacks as justification for his war is false. More than two months before the twin towers were attacked, the former Pakistani diplomat Niaz Naik was told by the Bush administration that a U.S. military assault would take place by mid-October. The Taliban regime in Kabul, which the Clinton administration had secretly supported, was no longer regarded as ‘stable’ enough to ensure U.S. control over oil and gas pipelines to the Caspian Sea. It had to go.

Obama’s most audacious lie is that Afghanistan today is a ‘safe haven’ for al-Qaeda’s attacks on the west. His own national security adviser, James Jones, said in October that there were ‘fewer than 100’ al-Qaeda operatives in Afghanistan. According to U.S. intelligence, 90 percent of the Taliban are hardly Taliban at all, but ‘a tribal localized insurgency (who) see themselves as opposing the U.S. because it is an occupying power’. The war is a fraud. Only the terminally gormless remain true to the Obama brand of ‘world peace’.

Beneath the surface, however, there is serious purpose. Under the disturbing General Stanley McChrystal, who gained distinction for his assassination squads in Iraq, the occupation of Afghanistan is a model for those ‘disorderly regions’ of the world still beyond Oceania’s reach. This is known as Coin (counter-insurgency), and draws together the military, aid organizations, psychologists, anthropologists, the media and public relations hirelings. Covered in jargon about winning hearts and minds, it aims to incite civil war: Tajiks and Uzbeks against Pashtuns.

The Americans did this in Iraq and destroyed a multi-ethnic society. They built walls between communities which had once intermarried, ethnically cleansing the Sunnis and driving millions out of the country. Embedded media reported this as ‘peace’; American academics bought by Washington and ‘security experts’ briefed by the Pentagon appeared on the BBC to spread the good news. As in Nineteen Eighty-Four, the opposite was true.

Something similar is planned for Afghanistan. People are to be forced into ‘target areas’ controlled by warlords, bankrolled by the CIA and the opium trade. That these warlords are barbaric is irrelevant. ‘We can live with that,’ a Clinton-era diplomat once said of the return of oppressive law in a ‘stable’, Taliban-run Afghanistan. Favored western relief agencies, engineers and agricultural specialists will attend to the ‘humanitarian crisis’ and so ‘secure’ the subjugated tribal lands.

That is the theory. It worked after a fashion in Yugoslavia, where ethnic-sectarian partition wiped out a once-peaceful society, but it failed in Vietnam, where the CIA’s ‘Strategic Hamlet Program’ was designed to corral and divide the southern population and so defeat the Vietcong — the Americans’ catch-all term for the resistance, similar to ‘Taliban’.

Behind much of this are the Israelis, who have long advised the Americans in both the Iraq and the Afghanistan adventures. Ethnic cleansing, wall-building, checkpoints, collective punishment and constant surveillance — these are claimed as Israeli innovations that have succeeded in stealing most of Palestine from its native people. And yet, for all their suffering, the Palestinians have not been divided irrevocably and they endure as a nation against all odds.

Imperial cemeteries

The most telling forerunners of the Obama Plan, which the Nobel Peace Prize-winner and his general and his PR men prefer we forget, are those that failed in Afghanistan itself. The British in the 19th century and the Soviets in the 20th century attempted to conquer that wild country by ethnic cleansing and were seen off, though after terrible bloodshed. Imperial cemeteries are their memorials. People power, sometimes baffling, often heroic, remains the seed beneath the snow, and invaders fear it.

‘It was curious,’ wrote Orwell in Nineteen Eighty-Four, ‘to think that the sky was the same for everybody, in Eurasia or Eastasia as well as here. And the people under the sky were also very much the same — everywhere, all over the world . . . people ignorant of one another’s existence, held apart by walls of hatred and lies, and yet almost exactly the same — people who . . . were storing up in their hearts and bellies and muscles the power that would one day overturn the world.’

How the World will go along with Iran getting the bomb

Posted by avideditor on January 3, 2010

Roger Simon lays out a scenario in which Iran obtains international support for its quest for a nuclear bomb.

Act two starts with the regime announcing that the increased security threat it faces is forcing it to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in 90 days and build nuclear weapons, as permitted by article ten of the treaty. At this point, the Iranians will be ready to quickly roll out not one, but perhaps several nuclear weapons. John Noonan writes that Iran’s investment “far exceeds what’s needed to turn on the lights, but it’s also beyond what’s needed for a basic nuclear weapons program.” He also notes that Iran’s program is a lot more extensive than that of North Korea, and that “Iran is pumping billions more into building and protecting triple the number of facilities required to build a basic nuclear weapon.”

Maybe they’ll say that bullying rhetoric from Israel and the U.S. is forcing them to “change their defense strategy,” as Vahdati put it. Or, in a crafty use of irony, the regime could use an Israeli strike to prevent them from obtaining nuclear weapons to justify obtaining nuclear weapons. “We were innocent and didn’t feel like we needed them when Israel bombed us, but now we do need them after faced with such aggression,” the regime will try to cry out.

The attacked Iranians will win the sympathy of the Muslim world and may even offer to give up their weapons if Israel also agrees to do so, among other concessions. And you can bet there will be those in the West that will buy the line that this wasn’t the plan all along, will blame Israeli and Western aggression for Iran’s decision to make the bomb, and will argue that the only solution is to make the Iranian government feel less threatened.

President Ahmadinejad is already laying the groundwork to justify the future construction of nuclear weapons, even while insisting that is not his current intent.

Read the whole thing. Plausible? You bet it is.
