Those Blue Lodge Antisemites Again: Thread Title – “Ahmedinijad’s Alleged Inflammatory Comments”

Posted by Glezele Vayne on December 4, 2009

More on my time at Liberty Forest (RonPaulForums.com). Thanks goes to Rodan of The Blogmocracy for coining the perfect term for what goes on at Liberty Forest, and at the John Birch Society according to some former chapter leaders (See my earlier post Blue Lodge Antisemites). Crypto-antisemitism. Useful term, that.

–   –   Ahmedinijad’s Alleged Inflammatory Comments (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=176883)

I have lifted some comments out of the above named thread. I have the entire thread, as it stood from the last day I copied and saved it. Besides not wanting to post some 24 pages of a rambling thread, the purpose of this post is to concentrate some of the antisemitic comments into a more readable format. These comments were posted by some of the more active antisemites at Liberty Forest. I would not necessarily label each of the members who participated on this thread as antisemitic. Some are simply misinformed. Let the reader be the judge.

Ahmedinijad’s Alleged Inflammatory Comments

Something about wiping Israel off the map or the face of the Eartth or some such thing. Is there a source for this, anyone?

Sandra 01-26-2009 01:15 AM

It was translated by MEMRI which is an Israeli translation service. They lie in the translation to stoke tempers.

raiha 01-26-2009 03:45 AM

Kind of expedient to mistranslate huh? I guess I’ve got a bee in my bonnet. Been hunting…I found this:

Wiped Off The Map” – The Rumor of the Century

Ellie’s Note:  Raiha then quotes extensively from following link:

Not sure about what others make of the Global Research site but I seem to find myself in there quite alot, and usually find what I’m after! And I am somewhat skeptical about Ahmadinejad in the role of “angel” as some would have us believe. But i suspect that those casting aspertions are even less angelic.

Grimnir Wotansvolk 01-26-2009 12:04 PM

Ahmedinijad has no ill will against the jewish people, and in fact shook hands with the anti-Zionist rabbi movement. His statement was that he wishes to see the Israeli/Zionist political machine dissolved and its stolen land returned to whom it rightfully belongs, a cause anyone who doesn’t suffer from historical amnesia should support.

fj45lvr 01-27-2009 04:34 PM

he should know first-hand why the zionist regime needs to be wiped out as Iran has been under threat of military attack for some time for their nuclear program….while at the same time the zionist regime is the ONLY nation in the middle east with hidden and non-inspected chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons programs.

HYPOCRISY (the “western” value you can count on)

Josh_LA 01-28-2009 06:06 AM

while technically that isn’t much different, it was wisely mistranslated to the the publicity they wanted.I won’t mind if anybody said “America needs to be wiped off the map”I know they don’t mean white people, Christians, or freedom lovers, they mean Bush and neocon thug regime.

micahnelson 01-29-2009 07:30 AM

And the nominees for understatement of the year are…

Quote from BlackTerrel: “This forum tilts a bit far on the Israel issue…”

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment:  Black Terrel typically sticks up for the pro-Israel POV…thus I took his comment to mean the forum tilts a bit far to the anti-Israel side, to which Micahnelson quipped that Black Terrel had made the “understatement of year”.

raiha 01-29-2009 09:58 AM

although Ahmadinejad is no sweet pacifist, he is not as depraved or corrupt as Bush, Cheney, or as demonic as lividi barak and olmert.

As for the tilt…it is merely a tilt toward regaining some misplaced equilibrium.

BlackTerrel 01-30-2009 04:11 AM

Eh, it’s a bit more than that 😀

coyote_sprit 09-01-2009 11:43 AM

Elya do you just like run a search on the word ‘Jews’ and then feel the need to bump 7 month old topics?

Ellie’s Note:  I received this complaint after responding to an old thread, by definition it seemed, being more than several months old.

ElyaKatz 09-02-2009 01:09 AM

I was trying to figure out if my 13 pro-Israel threads were disproportionate to the number of threads from the opposing ideology. Not so much…

Ellie’s Note at Glezele Vayne: I then went on to describe what I found in more detail. You might be able to find my entire response at Liberty Forest.

Mini-Me 09-03-2009 06:59 AM

Name someone from the opposing side who is as much of a one-issue poster as you. If you can’t, you should understand why people single you out.

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment: This was another common complaint from anti-Semitic members. What this member and others failed to take into consideration was how obsessed the antisemites were.  From the start, whenever I expressed my point of view vis a vis Israel,  it was clear a number of the antisemitic members would refuse to allow any pro-Israel statement anywhere on the forum to stand.  Furthermore, since the lies these members were spewing were difficult for me to tolerate or let stand, this left me little time to research out or post on many other topics, though I did occasionally manage.

A perfect example of how the antisemites at this Liberty Forest just could not resist having the last word on any pro-Israel thread or after any pro-Israel comment is the thread entitled “Who is Palestinian? Where is Palestine?? Who Named Palestine???” I started  the thread to debatef whether or not there ever was an historic Arab people who self-identified or were identified by outsiders as “Palestinians”. That thread ran well into the hundreds of posts, few of which were on topic.

The antisemites  at Liberty Forest simply use pro-Israel threads as dumping grounds for their Jew hating propaganda. Leaving a lie in a debate is to concede the point.  So, we just kept spinning around in circles. However, since we were spinning in circles, revisiting old points over and over again,  and since I successfully countered by facts from reliable sources,  I decided it was becoming pointless to continue. Rational discussion will move only  those who are, in fact rational.

I would ask that you folks watch the following related video.

YouTube – Apologize to the World Mr. Wallace and Return that Emmy

President Ahmadinejad is definitely no saint, but he’s no monster either. The greatest oppression Persian Jews suffer is mandatory school for their children on Saturday. All children are required to go to school on Saturday.

PS. While reviewing some of the small text contained in this thread, I noticed that a Jewish exodus from Iran is mentioned. The very existence of Persian Jews is an inconvenient truth. The US and Israeli governments have paid, in many cases in excess of $1M, to each Persian Jew that would relocate from Iran. Heck, for a million bucks, and automatic citizenship, I’d move back to Germany.

Some of the oldest Jewish temples on Earth are in Iran.

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment:  I only now noticed this claim. I’d like to see the proof. Later notice how one of the members makes a snide comment re my assertion that Iranian Jews fled Iran.  She buys this allegation of a $1 million dollar payment to each Iranian Jew who left Iran. However, the source was never linked. It’s been my experience that most of the time when an antisemite postulates without linking the source, it’s because they have a weak or nonexistent case.

Leadman584 09-06-2009 10:05 PM continued —

The Iranian government mandates that at least one Jewish citizen serve in their Parliament.

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment:  I can hear the corks popping throughout the Jewish communities in Iran over this.

Old Ducker 09-06-2009 11:47 PM

Ahmedinejad is indeed a monster. Thousands of innocent Iranians have been imprisoned, raped and murdered by agents of the Islamic Republic. Virgin girls under islamic law cannot be put to death so they are “married” to one of their captors who rapes her and then she can be put to death, sometimes by stoning.

Religious minorities are persecuted, especially Baha’i’s. Converstion from islam to any other religion is punished by death. Women in Iran have no rights whatsoever.

Ahmedinejad imports Hizbollah from Lebanon and Syria into it’s Basij paramilitary police since they have no problems assaulting Persians (Persians and Arabs are ancient enemies).

What is true is that Jews are protected in Iran, by order of Ayatollah Khomeini. Jews have lived in Iran for at least 2500 years, at which time Cyrus the Great liberated them from captivity in Babylon by Nebuchadnezzer II.

ElyaKatz 09-07-2009 01:29 AM

Quote by Raiha: “although Ahmadinejad is no sweet pacifist, he is not as depraved or corrupt as Bush, Cheney, or as demonic as lividi barak and olmert. As for the tilt…it is merely a tilt toward regaining some misplaced equilibrium.”

Really? I’m no fan of any of the politicians you’ve named, but as far as Ahmadinejad’s corruption not rising to their levels, I’d like to hear what the families of the murdered and raped Iranian election protesters from this spring have to say about his level of corruption and how demonic he is.

amy31416 09-07-2009 01:34 AM

You mean the poor Iranian families that you’d have our military bomb into a pile of ash because Israel can’t learn diplomacy? You do realize there are a lot of Jews in Iran, don’t you? Or don’t they matter because they turned down Israel’s bribe to move there and are perfectly content and treated as equals in Iran?

LibertyEagle 09-07-2009 01:50 AM

What would happen to a Christian in Israel who was protesting?

amy31416 09-07-2009 02:15 AM

When you feign sympathy for the “poor Iranian families” when it suits your agenda, expect to be called out on it.

You argue the number of Jews in Iran, I argue the quality of life for the Jews in Iran, which far exceeds the quality of life for Arabs in Israel. And the rest of what you say contradicts what Jewish Iranians themselves say and do, and they fact that they own businesses and are thriving in Iran.

ElyaKatz 09-07-2009 02:46 AM

How can you possibly know whether I’m “feigning” anything??

ElyaKatz 09-07-2009 02:51 AM

Quote by LibertyEagle: “Elya, What would happen to a Christian in Israel who was protesting?”

How does that have to do with anything on this thread?

LibertyEagle 09-07-2009 02:52 AM

Ellie, why are you bumping these very old threads?

LibertyEagle 09-07-2009 02:52 AM

You were claiming that Jews were unfairly treated in Iran, hence the question of how Christians are treated in Israel.

Made sense to me.

But again, why are you going around bumping so many old threads? All it’s doing is causing a stir. Why would you want to do that?

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment:  Why would so many threads that insult Jews and Israel, and promote the agenda of the PLO, Hamas and Hezbollah be allowed on Liberty Forest? Maybe that is what is causing the stir?

Reverse of causality is a favorite tactic of those with an antisemitic agenda, then repeated ignorantly by the misinformed.

amy31416 09-07-2009 03:02 AM

Ahh, so you don’t support the US invading and bombing Iran? That’s good, because despite their alleged rhetoric, Iran has not acted aggressively against another country in hundreds of years.

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment: Hm. Maybe she wasn’t around in 1979 when the Iranians stormed the US Embassy and took American 53 Americans, including many diplomats, hostage for 444 days? Perhaps she has not read any reports on this traumatic attack on what is legally considered American soil since then? Could it be??

amy31416 09-07-2009 03:02 AM continued —

How’s it going in Israel with Jewish fanatics like Netanyahu and Lieberman?

What happens to Palestinian/Jewish/American/Christian protesters in the West Bank? Tear gas, killed, jailed, bulldozed, ridiculed, humiliated, etc. Of course Jews in Iran would be treated just as badly as the Iranian protesters were, because they treat their citizens equally. There is no freedom whatsoever for Arabs living in the West Bank, in Gaza or in Israel. And if you claim otherwise, you’re being completely disingenuous. We do know that there are Jewish-only roads in the West Bank, we know about the wall, the homes being destroyed, the inability of Palestinians to get permission to build on their own land, etc.

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment: Just a few points. I never did address these blatant lies on this thread, though I did elsewhere on the site. First, there are not “Jewish only” roads. There are “Israeli citizen” only roads. This is due to the endless sniping by terrorists living under the protection of Fatah.  Second the “wall” is mostly a fence, again, put up to stop suicide bombers. Third the Arabs in Judea and Samaria have been building wildly, both legally and illegally on Jewish owned and disputed land for years already. It is the Jews of Judea and Samaria who have been discriminated against, to the shame of the Israeli government, as they play into the hands of Israel’s sworn enemies.

amy31416 09-07-2009 03:02 AM continued —

Do you ever stop and think about the ethics of what you’re defending, or is it merely “us persecuted Jews are right no matter what? Ethics are for the weak?”

Quote by Ellie Katz: “I am arguing numbers because the fact that 85% of the Jewish community has fled Iran since 1948 says something…about Ahamadinejad and company.”

amy31416 09-07-2009 03:02 AM continued —

Not necessarily, considering that they were paid to emigrate (not flee–love your “subtle” touches. You learned well, grasshoppah.)

Quote by Ellie Katz: “Re comparing the Iranian Jewish community to Arabs in the disputed territories, that is comparing apples to oranges. The Iranian Jews are not demanding autonomy, are not sending in suicide bombers whenever they don’t get their way. A better comparison would be between Arabs in the rest of the Arab world and Arabs in the disputed territories.”

amy31416 09-07-2009 03:02 AM continued —

When you want us to lose American lives to go and kill Iranians for your own agenda, then I will analyze the culture of Iran and just who we would be murdering. It may not mean much to you, because most of America’s military is not Jewish, but American lives mean a lot to me, regardless of religion. And so do the lives of other innocent people that my country keeps murdering because of Israel’s influence.

Ellie’s Glezele Vayne comment: I never, ever promoted sending American troops to Iran. I’m not sure bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities would be a good idea either, though credible military analysts in Israel and the US insist it is necessary for the safety of the world, especially America, not only for Israel. I claim no expertise, but I’m of the opinion that it’s better to help the Iranian people throw off their mullocracy, and then we won’t be afraid of a nuclear Iran. Hopefully. It’s not a stable nation, and that is why nuclear armaments are worrisome.

The next member is Dr.3D, one of the few who joined me in my fight to make the other perspective re Israel known to the members at Liberty Forest. A truly good soul. Hi Dr.3D!!! How are you???

Dr.3D 09-07-2009 03:03 AM

Quote by LibertyEagle: “Ellie, why are you bumping these very old threads?”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I have not seen any old threads bumped for quite a few days now. If it is wrong to bump an old thread, then perhaps the old threads should be closed.

Just a thought. 🙂

ElyaKatz 09-07-2009 03:46 AM

I don’t pay attention to the dates on threads. I pay attention to content.

Sandra 09-07-2009 04:17 PM

How big of a lie is this? You were told a week ago about it. You HAD to use the search feature to find it.

Please don’t put that oath in front of a lie. You must see how that looks to true Jews.

Sigh. Glezele Vayne comment.

ElyaKatz 09-10-2009 12:32 AM

I was doing a bit of research, and using specific search terms. Responding according to search terms necessarily means I am concerned with content, unless I put a date in my search, which I didn’t.

While doing my research I found some posts within various threads which I chose to respond to. I was paying attention to my search terms, the nature of the threads and the posts. I did not look at the dates of any thread or post….

Stay tuned…
