American progressives support Islamist in Preventing Insulting their religion

Posted by Rodan on October 6, 2009

This has to be one of the most absurd things I have ever seen. Our Progressive Regime supported an Egyptian resolution that condemns attacks on Religions. This in reality is done to set aprecedent to prevent people from criticizing Islam. The Islamo-Fascists in Egypt don’t want their fake Pedophile Prophet insulted, so back by Our Traitor regime the UN passes  resolution condemns this.

GENEVA – The U.N. Human Rights Council approved a U.S.-backed resolution Friday deploring attacks on religions while insisting that freedom of expression remains a basic right.

The inaugural resolution sponsored by the U.S. since it joined the council in June broke a long-running deadlock between Western and Islamic countries in the wake of the publication of cartoons depicting the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.

The resolution has no effect in law but provides Muslim countries with moral ammunition the next time they feel central tenets of Islam are being ridiculed by Western politicians or media through “negative racial and religious stereotyping.”

American diplomats say the measure — co-sponsored by Egypt — is part of the Obama administration’s effort to reach out to Muslim countries.

This really is nonsense and we must stand up to this. Christians, Jews and others have their religions bashed all the time yet we don’t demand people to stop bashing our faiths. It is not the case with Islam. They cry whenever people point out Muhammad was a pedophile and a genocidal mad man. Well too bad, I don’t care about this UN resolution and will say what I want.

This is another example of the Progressive-Islamo-Fascist Alliance.

The UN tries to block me from telling you that Islam is inherently violent and needs to be reformed

Posted by avideditor on October 6, 2009

I am not anti Islam. I am anti Jihadi. I support groups like this. The UN is trying to silence me. Keep in mind this is the same paper tiger that said lies like Zionism is racism.

Successor to the Nazis

BS”D

No difference between the UN and the PLO.

On November 7, 1975, the United Nations endowed the PLO with observer status in the General Assembly. Three days later, the Assembly adopted Resolution 3379 which states that “Zionism is Racism.” A profound and deadly irony underlies these resolutions.

Recall that the UN was created in 1945 as a reaction to Nazism, which had precipitated World War II and the
That resolution was a tacit declaration of war against Israel and the Jewish people.
Holocaust. However, in 1975, when the PLO was entrenched in the General Assembly, it became the successor to the Nazis. That resolution was a tacit declaration of war against Israel and the Jewish people. The UN opened its doors to the PLO and thereby legitimized a worldwide terrorist organization committed to Israel’s destruction.

The PLO should be viewed as the spearhead of the UN. It was only after the PLO was given observer status that one proposed resolution after another, hitherto quashed, was passed condemning Israel and questioning its legitimacy. Since the Arabs could not defeat Israel on the battlefield, they used the PLO and its presence in the UN to defame and destroy the “Zionist entity”.

The balance of power in the UN’s Human Rights Council is held by the Organization of the Islamic Conference – a consortium of despotic Islamic regimes that contradicts the UN Charter. The OIC, Alex Grobman points out, “adamantly maintains that the definition of terrorism never include ‘armed struggle for liberation and self-determination,’ so that when Arab terrorists blow up Jewish men, women and children in synagogues, cafes, shopping malls, pizza ships, buses, and discotheques, it is acceptable and justifiable.”

When Oriana Fallaci questioned Yasser Arafat about whether he was seeking peace, he replied: “We don’t want peace, we want victory. Peace for us means Israel’s destruction and nothing else…. We shall fight on to victory. Even for decades, for generations, if necessary.” This accords with the jihadi ethos – and Islam has the largest bloc of states in the UN.

As Bernard Lewis points out, there is no bloc of Christian or Buddhist states that meets and decides on a common course of action at the UN. In contrast, “Some fifty-five Muslim governments, including monarchies and republics, conservatives and revolutionaries, practitioners of capitalism and disciples of various kinds of socialism, friends and enemies of the United States, and exponents of a whole spectrum of shades of neutrality, have built up an elaborate apparatus of international consultation and even, on some occasions, of cooperation. They hold regular high-level conferences, and, despite differences of structure, ideology, and policy, [they] have achieved a significant measure of agreement and common action.”

Given the power of the Islamic bloc in the UN and Islam’s worldwide network of mosques preaching jihad and hatred of the Western civilization in general, and of America and Israel in particular, it is not only absurd and comic, but also self-demeaning and self-destructive for the US and Israel to remain in the UN.

In 1975, Senator Patrick Moynihan, US Ambassador to the United Nations, argued that the US should remain in opposition to the UN. In contrast, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said the UN was not worth saving and that the US should “let it sink.” By remaining in the UN, both the US and Israel undermine what is most needed in this nihilistic age, moral clarity.

Moral clarity is especially needed with respect to Islam, which Bat Ye’or called a “culture of hate,” but which, for that reason, may be called a “culture of evil.” What else can be said of Iran, the emerging superpower of the Middle East, that preaches “death to America” and “death to Israel”? What else can be said of Saudi Arabia, which finances terrorist groups to implement these maledictions?

The Goldstone Report is an anti-semitic smear job

Posted by avideditor on October 6, 2009

HT the Elder of Ziyon

CAMERA finds many problems with the Goldstone Report.

REPORT: There is no evidence of Palestinian fighters using civilian clothes.
FACT: Journalists and eyewitnesses repeatedly noted the use of civilian clothes by Hamas fighters.
REPORT: There is no evidence of armed groups directing civilians to areas where attacks were being launched or forcing them to remain in the vicinity of attacks.
FACT: Palestinian witnesses and video evidence reveal that fighters did direct civilians to areas where attacks were being launched.
REPORT: There is no evidence that hospitals or ambulances were used for military activities.
FACT: Eyewitnesses describe Palestinian firing from hospitals and use of ambulances.
REPORT: The mission could not determine whether mosques were used for military purposes.
FACT: There is video evidence of weaponry stored in a mosque, and of secondary explosions of mosques consistent with the storage of explosives.
REPORT: The amount of aid allowed into Gaza by Israel decreased after the end of the fighting.
FACT: If not false, the assertion is at best disingenuous. The average weekly number of humanitarian shipments increased in the months after the war ended.
TESTIMONY: The Zeitoun area is pacifist and had no militant groups or rocket fire.
REPORT:

This witness is credible and reliable, and there is no reason to doubt his testimony.

FACT: There are many documented cases of Palestinian militants being killed in armed clashes in the neighborhood.
TESTIMONY: The al Fakhoura area was not used to fire at Israel, and no combatants were killed in the Fakhoura incident.
REPORT: The Report was based in part on three interviews with the Hamas official who made the above claim, and did not cast doubt on his testimony.
FACT: Palestinian eyewitnesses and Israel note that the area was used to fire at Israel, and that combatants were killed in the Israeli strike.

Lots more, check it out.
