Happy May Day. Who killed more people the Jihadis or the Commies?

Posted by avideditor on May 1, 2009

As people around the world riot and burn cars. I just have this question Who killed more people the Jihadis or the Commies? I know the commies killed around 200 million. It is strange to me how some people still think it is a good idea.

An excellent piece about a new book out entitled, ” United In Hate: The Left’s Romance With Tyranny and Terror ” from this article at Family Security Matters delves into one of the most asked questions: Why to American progressives and leftists always seem to side with tyrannical dictators and terror regimes and turn their ire on America? This is awesome stuff:

For from Zion will the Torah come forth, and the word of HaShem from Jerusalem

Posted by Glezele Vayne on May 1, 2009

Hat tip:WeJew

Isaiah 2:1 & 2

The prophecy that Isaiah son of Amoz saw, concerning Judah and Jerusalem: It will happen in the end of days: The mountain of the Temple of HaShem will be firmly established as the head of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations will streams to it. Many peoples will go and say ‘Come, let us go up to the Mountain of HaShem, to the Temple of the G-d of Jacob, and He will teach us of His ways and we will walk in His paths.’ For from Zion will the Torah come forth, and the word of HaShem from Jerusalem. He will judge among the nations and will settle the arguments of many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks, nation will not lift sword against nation and they will no longer study warfare.

From R’ Tovia Singer’s radio show “Olmert: ‘I offered the PLO More than Anyone in Israel’s History!” came some beautiful gifts to us all. During the second half of the show (29:00 minute mark) Rabbi Singer opens the lines up for questions from his callers. The question of the  role of sacrifice play in the forgiveness of sins came up. In his answer, R’ Singer alerts his non-Jewish listeners to some wonderful truths that have been in the book of Isaiah all along, the words of love and acceptance from HKB”H to the nations of the world. The love of HKB”H for the nations has been sadly, tragically overshadowed by the teachings from the Church, specifically from the book of Acts.

If the love expressed to the non-Jew in this beautiful book were widely known,  millennia of damage to the self-esteem of the non-Jewish world, perpetrated on them by the teachings of Christendom could be healed. So, for my non-Jewish readers, I pass along the gift. We all benefit from knowing the reasons HKB”H has arranged things as He has.

Caller: There is a sacrifice for unintentional sin. What about intentional sin. How do you atone for intentional sin? Does it have something to do with the “Mercy Seat?”

R’ Singer: Listen up. Listen up. It’s not fancy. Daniel Chapter 4 verse 27: It’s a conversation between Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar, who I can guarantee you was totally NJ, not Jewish, and Jonah chapter 3 verse 10 and the people of Ninevah, the capital of Assyria, who were definitely goyim, big time gentiles, okay? So we’re told in the Bible precisely what the peoples of the earth must do in order to have a proper relationship with the G-d of Israel; and that is to stop talking to the gods of the other nations, stop acting like the gods of the other nations, like the peoples of the earth and look to the G-d of Israel, repent, turn away from sin, and then G-d forgives.

You have to understand this. See the problem, I’m not talking about you (caller name), I’m talking about my non-Jewish listeners in general, particularly Christian listeners…they are wired to believe that gentiles are somehow second-class citizens because they are cast that way in the book of Acts. That means that the way the Christian Bible portrays the Jewish view of gentiles as basically, they are unworthy of anything, that they are basically human trash, and that is a lie. And that’s why people who grew up in the Christian world think that that’s what we think of them. And it’s really, not only incorrect, it’s the reverse.

The purpose of the Jewish people is to facilitate the repentance of the gentiles. That’s our “raison d’etre”…. the purpose of the Jewish people is to be a light to the gentiles. That’s our function.”

“The role of the gentiles is to turn their eyes to Heaven, to turn their eyes away from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and to look at Heaven, and to say ‘You are my G-d, the G-d of Israel alone, and I therefore am faithful to you and I live this unique special life because you commanded me.’ And G-d immediately forgives that person of their sins. That’s all. Repent. It’s confession and turning away from sin. That’s all it is.

“HaShem loves the nations of the world. He created all of them. And they are created in the image of G-d. And they are called upon to repent and turn to the G-d of Israel. And my Bible says some of them will. Many will. And you know where they’re going? They’re not going to go to Rome to find out the truth. But my Bible says in the book of Isaiah, they’re coming here to Jerusalem because out of Jerusalem, not out of Rome, … It’s coming out of Jerusalem.

You see? G-d is not all that complicated. He doesn’t require you to recite certain phrases or to spill the blood of innocent animals for you to be forgiven (or to —  G-d forbid — murder people who don’t believe exactly as you do). It’s very, very simple: Stop chattering to idols, turn to Him, declare loyalty to Him alone, sincerely confess your sins, repent (which means stop doing the sin you’ve confessd) then you are forgiven. Done deal.

Charles Johnson Wins ‘Dhimwit Of The Month’ Award

Posted by DJM on May 1, 2009

Dhimwit of the Month Honors

Dhim·wit (dïm-wît) – A non-Muslim member of a free society that abets the stated cause of Islamic domination with remarkable gullibility and creativity. A dhimwit is always quick to extend sympathy to the very enemy that would take away his or her own freedom (or life) if given the opportunity.

Anyone who has made a fool out of the mainstream media as often as the Charles Johnson has can’t be all bad – even if he is making a bigger fool out of himself these days. Five years ago, the talented creator of the Little Green Footballs blog and “co-founder” of Pajamas Media (a top-notch web magazine) went toe-to-toe with CBS News and not only took down Dan Rather, but also won a great deal of respect for on-line journalism in the process…

Then things got weird. Really weird.

[UPDATE] – For the purpose of clarifying exactly what Charles meant in accusing Pam Geller and Robert Spencer of associating with “fascists,” brave LGF commenter ‘horatiolust’ asked Charles to define the word.
