Leftwing Jewish Traitor supports Hijab at Harvard

Posted by Rodan on March 26, 2008

Writen by guest blogger Trajan

Today’s Moonbat article of the day award goes to Ruth Marcus. She wrote in the Washington Post an article Defending the creeping Sharia law in America.

She says that people should be calm about this! She compares ringing of Church Bells and Lighting a Menorah the same as the Call to Prayer? Can anyone say Dhimmi here!My reaction is more along the lines of: “Get a grip.” It’s reasonable to set aside a few off-peak hours at one of Harvard’s many gyms. It’s not offensive to have the call to prayer echoing across Harvard Yard, any more than it is to ring church bells or erect a giant menorah there. It gets worse! As a Catholic-Christian I was already offending with the Church Bell Comparison. Bu this will make my Jewish Brothers really angry! But I come to this issue as a member of another minority religion, Judaism, whose adherents often seek flexibility from the majority culture in order to practice their faith. Can anyone say TRAITOR Here! I’m not Jewish and I’m offended. Jews have never imposed their religion and rituals on us Christians! How dare this slime and piece of filth compare a peaceful tolerant religion as Judaism, from which my Catholic faith sprang, to the murderous Dog hating, women oppressing cult that is Islam. If she thinks the Hijab is ok, why doesn’t she wear one. These Leftist are a the enemy within. It’s time to expose them and take them on!Wake up America, we have traitors in our nation!

BREAKING – Feds Indict Former CAIR Michigan Chief/Current Muslim Charity Exec as Saddam Spy; But Per Usual, U.S. Attorney Murphy Allows Charity to Remain Open, Main Financier to Walk Free

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

Check out this story from Debbie Schlussel on the latest news about CAIR.

BREAKING – Feds Indict Former CAIR Michigan Chief/Current Muslim Charity Exec as Saddam Spy; But Per Usual, U.S. Attorney Murphy Allows Charity to Remain Open, Main Financier to Walk Free: “

By Debbie Schlussel

For at least six years, I’ve been asking (including in a New York Post column) why the Justice Department–specifically the Islamo-pandering parade of U.S. Attorneys for the Eastern District of Michigan–were breaking pita with officials of LIFE for Relief and Development, including Muthanna Al-Hanooti.

Today, Al-Hanooti, a former chief of CAIR-Michigan was indicted for acting as a spy for Saddam Hussein in America. (And–shocker–he has a second wife and family in Iraq.) To me and anyone who followed the story and read a newspaper, that isn’t news. In fact, the indictment is far too little, far too late. The indictment says that a trip taken by three Congressmen–liberal Democrats Jim McDermott, David Bonior, and Jim Thompson–to Iraq in 2002, was funded by Saddam Hussein, using a third party to arrange the financing, and Al-Hanooti to put the trip together. Again, not news, since I wrote about it repeatedly on this site and also in The New York Post as far back as 2003.

U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy with LIFE Officials Khalil Jassem (left), Ihsan Al-Khatib (far right) & ‘Former’ Terrorist Imad Hamad (Murphy’s left)

Then-US Attorney Jeffrey Collins (center) w/Saddam Spy/Indictee Muthanna Al-Hanooti, Imad Hamad, unidentified person, and LIFE Official, Mohammed Alomari

Liberal Dems Jim McDermott and David Bonior
Went on Saddam-Financed Trip to Iraq (w/Jim Thompson)

The ‘third party,’ not identified in the indictment, is a man I’ve complained about for some time–Shakir Al-Khafaji. He owns gas stations and Italian restaurants, and property all over Michigan. He was one of three Americans–and the only one not prosecuted–named by Iraqi newspapers and Saddam government documents as a participant in the oil-for-food scam billions. A company he ran out of South Africa made $70 million. And yet he is free. I regularly have seen him pumping gas into his car and tooling about town. And I’ve also regularly written that he financed the trip with Saddam’s money.

Again, none of this is news to me. What is and continues to be news is that Shakir Al-Khafaji has gotten away with it and has been allowed to invest Saddams millions to make millions more for himself, all with impunity and under the knowing eye of the Justice Department.

It was always well known that he was Saddam Hussein’s agent, and that’s why far-left Democrats–and rudderless Republicans, like Hezbollah’s Congressman, Joe Knollenberg–got Saddam’s, er . . . Al-Khafaji’s cash, as did former U.N. Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter, who got $400,000 from Al-Khafaji for a pro-Saddam propaganda film.

But, again, Al-Khafaji–Saddam’s Mr. Moneybags–is walking free, thanks to do-nothing pan-Islamist U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy.

I’ve also asked why LIFE for Relief and Development, Al-Hanooti’s employer and the organization through which he took the three Congressmen to Iraq, has continued to be allowed to remain open for business and to raise money, even though it was well known to FBI agents–and to me–that LIFE was Saddam Hussein’s American advertising agency, as well as a financier of Sunni Islamic terrorism against our soldiers and contractors in Iraq and elsewhere where Al-Qaeda, HAMAS, and their satellites operate.

Despite all of this information–which FBI agents have known for at least seven year–U.S. Attorneys Stephen Murphy III a/k/a ‘Abu Porno’ and, before him, Jeffrey Collins both regularly feted the LIFE For Relief and Development crowd and their biggest promoter, ‘former’ Islamic terrorist and eternal FBI award revokee Imad Hamad. I have pictures (posted above).

While almost two years ago, LIFE was raided by the FBI, it–the largest Islamic charity in America–was allowed to continue to operate in the neighborhood where I grew up. And U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy III a/k/a ‘Abu Porno’–to this day–will still not do a thing to freeze LIFE’s assets or shut down its operations. Its money flows freely to fund terrorist operations against some of our own boys. The indictment of Mr. Hanooti will be not much more than a papercut in terms of making a difference. One benefit will be that Mr. Al-Hanooti will be unable to bring in more anti-Semitic clerics to America for fundraisers, as he had a habit of doing. As I wrote back in 2003:

A 1996 LIFE fundraiser, arranged by Hanooti, featured speaker Sheik Abdulmunem Abu Zant, an ardent Hamas supporter, who said, ‘May G-d attack the Jews and those who stand with them. May G-d attack the Americans and those who stand with them.’ Hanooti appeared with indicted Islamic Jihad frontman Sami Al-Arian at a recent American Muslim Council lobbying seminar.

Then, there is Hanooti’s partner in crime, Mohammed Alomari, who apparently also was involved in coordinating the Saddam-financed trip to Iraq, made by the three easily-played Congressional violins. Mr. Alomari, who on-line calls me by the anti-Semitic moniker ‘Debbie the Shyster,’ is and always has been Mr. Al-Hanooti’s right-hand man. (Together, they founded and operated the fly-by-night operation Focus on Arab-American Issues and Reform, which shares the same address as LIFE.) (Alomari partnered with Al-Hanooti as the U.S. lobbyists for the Sunnis in Iraq. That should tell you something about the Sunnis there–still Saddam loyalists.) Yet, Mohammed Alomari walks free. He, too, was apparently an agent of Saddam and a spy for him, just as his bosom buddy, Mr. Al-Hanooti was.

It must be Mr. Alomari’s great literary contributions that have saved him to date. He is the author of an article identifying all the Jews in the Bush Administration and complaining that there are too many of them. And he is the proud author of the unintendedly-comical book, ‘The Secrecy of Evil,’ which argues that the creation of America was a Zionist plot of the Zionist perpetrating Founding Fathers, and that the Washington Monument is our country’s male sexual progenitor and the Oval Office is its female sex organ.

The indictment says that Saddam Hussein’s government gave Al-Hanooti two million barrels of oil in exchange for his work on behalf of the Iraqi intelligence service in America, one wonders how much of a cut of that his partner Alomari and his close buddy and champion, Imad Hamad, got. A good take, I’m sure. And I bet the feds know about this but are looking the other way. Mark my word.

So, while it is mildly good news that Muthanna Al-Hanooti may face justice, that news is far too belated and far too little.

When Mohammed Alomari is indicted, LIFE For Relief and Development is shut down and its assets frozen, and Imad Hamad–who worked for Al-Hanooti and LIFE to get USAID status and federal government protection through Senator Carl Levin–is also stopped cold, then I will be happy.

Until then, this story isn’t worth the paper upon which Stephen Murphy’s press release is written. But its value to him is the Bush Federal Appeals Court nomination of him that he desperately wants and needs the PR to push it through.

Weeds on the Dome

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

This is proof the only reason the jihadis care about the Dome of the Rock is because we want it. I pray every day that they abomination falls and the third temple will be built.

Weeds, part 2: “As a followup to my first Weeds post:

I just found another book showing a large number of photographs of Jerusalem and the rest of the Holy Land, these from 1904. Called ‘The Cruise of the Eight Hundred to and Through Palestine: Glimpses of Bible Lands’ it is a pictorial recounting of a trip of 800 Sunday School teachers to Palestine. It is fully downloadable in PDF format, as was the book I referred to yesterday. Here again is a scene of the Dome of the Rock, from a different angle, showing the steps to go into it (click to enlarge):Again, notice the huge number of weeds, even on the steps. Notice also what is not in the picture – people. In contrast, once again, here is a similar photograph of the Western Wall of the Temple from the same book:No weeds, lots of people. And the descriptions of the Wall in all of these books are similar, as the writers are struck by the heartfelt sadness that the praying people felt for the destruction of the Temple. The book includes hundreds of photographs and is a lot of fun to browse through.

Senator Barbara Boxer Meeting With CAIR – Action Necessary

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

WOW!! I can’t believe she is still meeting with them despite all the evidence linking them to terror. I made a post the first time I heard about this. Please do your part and contact the senator and tell her not to meet with terrorist supporters and funders.

Senator Barbara Boxer Meeting With CAIR – Action Necessary: “

1There are quite a few people picking up on Barbara Boxer’s decision to start meeting with CAIR, a little over a year after she had rejected the pro-Jihadi group…Info is below, call, write, send the link to this article to everyone you know. This bitch is consorting with the enemy. From PipelineNews:March 25, 2008 – San Francisco, CA – PipeLineNews.org – As we noted in a March 18 piece Why Is Senator Barbara Boxer’s Staff Meeting With CAIR? California’s junior Senator is once again unapologetically meeting with the Council on American Islamic Relations [CAIR], a group she had harshly rejected only a little over a year ago, and other Islamist organizations including MPAC, the Muslim Public Affairs Council.Queried about why Boxer has apparently changed her ‘no-meet’ directive against the Saudi funded Hamas friendly group, the Senator’s staff has, of this writing, still not provided any explanation, let alone a plausible one.In an ‘after-action’ move, MPAC today is conducting a disingenuous call-in telephone campaign directed at Boxer’s DC office.PipeLineNews came into possession of an email being circulated by MPAC detailing the group’s strategy which includes callers representing themselves as ‘Christians’ apparently in order to cast the effort in the most public relations friendly manner. The electronically communicated talking points ask MPAC members to urge the Senator to pressure Israel to cease its military resistance against the Hamas uprising in Gaza, thus placing the Muslim Public Affairs Council alongside its ideological brothers in CAIR in apparent support of a hands-off policy against Islamic terror.Senator Boxer had best re-consider her ill-advised ‘rapproachmont’ with these stealth jihadist groups, and realize that her original decision, not to meet with CAIR et al, was correct and should be reinstated. Here is Boxer’s Info:Barbara BoxerUnited States Senate112 Hart Senate Office BuildingWashington, D.C. 20510-0505DC Phone: 202-224-3553DC Fax: 202-224-0454Email Address: http://boxer.senate.gov/contact/email/policy.cfmHomepage: http://boxer.senate.gov/”(Via avideditor’s shared items in Google Reader.)

Major IPT Report: CAIR Officials Convicted of Crimes

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

Charles from LGF gives the third part on the new investigation linking CAIR to terrorism.

Part 1 As IAP Offshoot, CAIR Followed Pro-Hamas Agenda From the Start

Part 2 Funding Ties With HLF and Foreign Donors Show CAIR’s True Agenda

Major IPT Report: CAIR Officials Convicted of Crimes: ”

Here’s part 3 of the Investigative Project’s devastating exposé of the Council on American Islamic Relations: Some CAIR Officials Convicted of Crimes, More Tied to Extremist Groups.

The questionable associations and actions by many of its leaders cast serious doubt on CAIR’s claims of moderation and restraint. Some have committed criminal acts themselves; others have ties to organizations with connections to Islamic extremism. Those convicted of direct criminal activity include Ghassan Elashi, a founding board member of CAIR-Texas; Randall (Ismail) Royer, once a communications specialist for the national group, and Bassam Khafagi, the organization’s one-time director of community relations. In the more egregious cases, the organization has tried to distance itself from the individuals, contorting both logic and the English language. As the IPT’s series on CAIR’s history and activities continues, we look at the suspect nature of these examples and others close to the organization.* Ghassan Elashi, who attended a 1993 Philadelphia meeting called by Hamas to discuss derailing U.S. peace initiatives, was convicted in 2004 on six criminal counts, including making false statements, conspiracy to violate the Export Administration Regulations and the Libyan Sanctions Regulations, and conspiracy to file false shipper’s export declaration forms. He was a defendant again in the 2007 Hamas-support trial of the Holy Land Foundation (HLF), where jurors were unable to reach unanimous verdicts on the charges against him.Elashi served as HLF chairman and treasurer and vice president of Infocom, a computer export company. He was sentenced to 80 months in prison for making illegal computer shipments to Libya and Syria and conspiring to send money to Mousa Abu Marzook, an admitted Hamas leader.Seeking to minimize Elashi’s ties to CAIR, Executive Director Nihad Awad assured U.S. senators in 2003 testimony, ‘Mr. Elashi was never an employee or officer of our corporation. The fact that he was once associated with one of our almost twenty regional chapters has no legal significance … ’* Randall Royer, the former CAIR communications specialist, has a more colorful criminal history. Police who stopped his car for a traffic violation in 2001 found an AK-47-style rifle and 219 rounds of ammunition inside. Then, in 2003, he was indicted on charges stemming from participation in the ongoing jihad in Kashmir — specifically, doing propaganda work for Lashkar-e Taiba, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist group, and personally firing at Indian positions in Kashmir.Pleading guilty to weapons and explosives charges in 2004, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.Again, CAIR reacted defensively, seeking to downplay both his ties to the organization and, indeed, the nature of his crimes. ‘Notwithstanding the fact that any criminal action to which he pleaded guilty was done when Royer was no longer employed with CAIR and not at CAIR’s direction,’ the group said, ‘it is important to note that the only crimes that he pleaded guilty to were weapons charges, not charges of terrorism.’

There’s much more. Full details on the third part of the IPT report are in this PDF file

But what does Obama Really Think of the Jews?

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

Atlas Shurgs presents more info on why Obama is bad for the Jews.

But what does Obama Really Think of the Jews?: “

Powerline sheds light: This, from his brain trust and most probably your next Secretary of Statebut do read it all. Makes Condi look positively frum.

[F]or the United States, of all countries, to be talking
about human rights just rings very, very hollow
in light of all the
objections to our policy in Israel ??? the perception that we???re hard on
one side and not on the other, and that we don???t contest the
settlements or human-rights abuses committed by Israeli soldiers
, and
so on. Plus the fact that we have turned our back on international
treaties and not been a global citizen, I think, makes people, even
democrats, the leading lights in these repressed societies, very
squeamish about being associated with the United States.

The worst thing for the dissidents in Iran would be for America to
take their side. I
t would tarnish the whole enterprise. Syria???s another
question. Syria???s really tricky. I think if we could get our policy in
Israel straight, then you get a sort of credibility to convene Arab
governments that have a civil society with
??? hopefully, you still have
a few allies in Europe and elsewhere ??? and actually start to have the
difficult conversation about how one can liberalize.

Is this much more than sophomoric drivel?  For an extended exposure to Power, see the 90-minute video of Power discussing her new book with Azar Nafisi that was recently broadcast on C-SPAN.

PAUL adds: So the bottom line is: if we crack down on Israel we
might gain some credibility when it comes to trying to liberalize Syria
(assuming we still have a few allies), but we would remain unworthy of
siding with Iranian dissidents.

This is sophomoric drivel to be sure, but it’s dangerous sophomoric drivel.

UPDATE: One can observe the continuing influence of Power’s thought on Obama’s proposed foreign policy in Noah Pollak’s ‘Obamas hollow doctrine,’
which takes up the theme of ‘dignity promotion’ that Power touts at
length in the video. As Pollak suggest, ‘dignity’ in this context is a
meaningless concept that can be used to advance any desired agenda.

MORE: Corroborating one of my points above, Sam Stein
reports that in a talk at Columbia University School of Law last night,
Power anticipated her possible service in an Obama administration:

[[T]o the delight of many in the crowd, [Power] even hinted that she
could be part of that hypothetical [Obama] cabinet. ‘Because of the
kind of campaign that Senator Obama has run,’ Power said, ‘it seemed
appropriate for someone of my Irish temper to step aside, at least for
a while. We will see what happens there.’

Hate crimes against Jews underreported in NYC

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

Hate crimes against Jews underreported in NYC: “From Northeast Intelligence Report (h/t JammieWearingFool):

By Douglas J. Hagmann, Director

25 March 2008: A source inside the Manhattan District Attorney’s office admitted to me during a telephone conversation yesterday that ‘hate crimes,’ specifically those occurring against Jews, are frequently omitted from such classification. Meanwhile, acts that victimize Muslims, regardless of their motivation, are usually reported as ‘hate crimes.’ Consequently, crimes against Jews and other religions fail to garner the same media focus as crimes against Muslims and skew the figures used to track criminal motives. Although this is not a new phenomenon, it has recently been accentuated by the incident that took place on a New York subway last week.

At about 6:20 last Tuesday, March 18, 2008, 25 year-old Uria Ohana, a rabbinical assistant, was assaulted by three Muslim men inside the subway station at Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street in Park Slope. As Ohana proceeded through the turnstile, 18 year-old Ali Hussein grabbed Uria Ohana’s yarmulke from his head; Ohana gave chase, and was assaulted by Hussein’s accomplices who were shouting ‘Alla hu Akbar’ – Arabic for ‘God is great.’ The chase ended when Hussein was struck by a vehicle as he ran onto Fourth Avenue. Hussein’s friends abandoned him at the scene, fleeing in a late model GMC Suburban.

The incident received very little media attention, and the motive was not initially recorded as a bias or ‘hate crime.’ ‘This happens frequently,’ admitted this source, adding that the pressure from Muslim special interest groups is much greater than from other similar organizations. ‘It seems that there is a far greater propensity for law enforcement to recognize and classify crimes against Muslims as motivated by religious bias, and there more pressure from watch dog groups to insure that crimes against Muslims are immediately classified as having their origins in religious bias. What it does is that it skews the actual numbers,’ added this source.

He also stated that since 9/11, law enforcement officials have acquiesced to the pressure and demands by Islamic special interest groups to treat most crimes against Muslims as ‘religiously motivated,’ even in the absence of any proof. Acts such as graffiti randomly sprayed on a mosque, for example, is classified as a ‘hate crime.’ It does not matter that the mosque might be one of several buildings in a specific area that has been tagged or sprayed by vandals. ‘We are compelled to classify such acts as having a religiously motivated bias, despite evidence that would indicate otherwise. Ordinarily, people would not think it is such a big deal. But when you have many such incidents, it obviously has a significant impact on criminal statistics. It definitely skews them.’

Even with this skewing, Jews are far more likely to be the victims of official hate crimes than Muslims, despite the amount of whining by CAIR.

Flight 93 Memorial Blog Burst: Petition for Congressional investigation

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

Update: Sign the online petition and get the book plus more info at: Crescent of Betrayal

Flight 93 Memorial Blog Burst: Petition for Congressional investigation: ”

Petition for Congressional investigationPetition for Congressional investigationBlogburst logo, no accidentA petition to stop the crescent memorial is now being circulated on the ground in western Pennsylvania . As a complement to this old fashioned canvassing effort, an electronic petition has also been created at ipetitions.com. Please circulate far and wide! The petitions highlight four cases of apparent Islamic symbolism in the memorial design. Here is the text (electronic):

Call for Congressional investigation of Islamic symbolism in the Flight 93 memorial

Many features of the chosen Flight 93 Memorial design are intolerable:

1. THE GIANT CRESCENT . The centerpiece of the original ‘Crescent of Embrace’ design was a giant red Islamic shaped crescent. Every particle of this original crescent design remains completely intact in the so-called redesign, which only added a few irrelevant trees. The giant crescent is still there.

2. IT POINTS TO MECCA . The giant crescent points to Mecca . A crescent that Muslims face into to face Mecca is called a ‘mihrab,’ and is the central feature around which every mosque is built. The Flight 93 Memorial is on track to become the world’s largest mosque.3. THE ISLAMIC SUNDIAL. The minaret-like Tower of Voices is a year-round accurate Islamic prayer-time sundial (one of many typical mosque features that are realized in the crescent design, all on the same epic scale as the half mile wide central crescent).4. THE 44 BLOCKS. There are 44 glass blocks on the flight path, equaling the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists.Intentional or not, these features are entirely unacceptable. This travesty must stop and investigations must begin.1) We the undersigned call on our state and federal legislators to undertake their own thorough and independent investigations of the Flight 93 Memorial design. The truth must come out.2) We ask that the crescent design be scraped entirely and that it be replaced with a new design that is not tainted by Islamic or terrorist memorializing symbolism.

3) We demand a fitting and proper memorial that HONORS the brave men and women of Flight 93.Please take a minute to electronically sign this petition. All signatures collected by the end of April will be printed out and delivered to the May 3rd public meeting of the Memorial Project, along with Xeroxes of the hand-signed petitions. That is just the start. There will be another public meeting in August, where we hope to present a much larger pile of petitions, and all signatures will eventually be delivered to the Pennsylvania state legislature and to Congress. Keep sending until the crescent design is stopped! In the short term, we have a number of supporters in the Pennsylvania legislature at this point who are working to gain backing for an investigation. A demonstration of public demand should help that effort. The paper petitionIn order to make the paper petition self-sufficient, there is a second page, to be printed on the back of the petition, that provides explanations and graphical documentation of the four highlighted cases of Islamic symbolism. The idea is to have a petition that can circulate virally. Anyone can print it out and have enough information right on the petition itself to know that the objections are legitimate. (Mailing instructions are also included.)Here are the back-side explanations of the four intolerable features:

1. THE GIANT CRESCENT The original Crescent of Embrace design was a giant Islamic shaped crescent with the crash site placed between the crescent tips, in the position of the star on an Islamic crescent and star flag:Crescent and flag22%The redesign was supposed to eliminate these Islamic symbol shapes, but as Congressman Tom Tancredo wrote to the Park Service in November 2007, these features remain completely intact in the so-called redesign, which only disguised the crescent with a few additional trees. Architect Paul Murdoch’s refusal to eliminate the Islamic symbol shapes suggests intent, but intentional or not, these symbol shapes are unacceptable. Congressman Tancredo is now calling for the crescent design to be scrapped in its entirety, and we join in that request.

2. IT POINTS TO MECCA Several credible analysts have found that a person facing directly into the giant crescent (still present in the redesign) will be facing almost exactly at Mecca:60%SizeMeccaOrientationGraphicThe green ‘qibla’ circle in the graphic above is from the prayer-direction calculator at Islam.com. It shows the direction to Mecca from Somerset PA (ten miles from the crash site). The red arrow shows that a person standing between the crescent tips and facing into the center of the crescent will be facing almost exactly at Mecca .This Mecca orientation claim must be authoritatively investigated and answered. If it is true that the crescent points to Mecca , and hence can serve as an Islamic prayer direction indicator (the central feature around which every mosque is built), then whether this construct was intentional or not, it indelibly taints the design.

3. THE ISLAMIC SUNDIALAnyone can see the overt similarity between a traditional Islamic sundial (left-hand image) and Tower of Voices part of the Flight 93 Memorial (right-hand image):SundialComposite65%When the shadow of the traditional sundial reaches the outer curved vertical in this photo, it will be time for Islamic afternoon prayers. Shadow calculations confirm that, on any day of the year, when the shadow of the 93 foot tall crescent shaped Tower of Voices reaches the inner arc of trees, it will also be time for Islamic afternoon prayers.4. THE FORTY-FOUR BLOCKSTom Burnett Sr. does not want Tom Junior’s name inscribed on one of the 44 translucent blocks that are to be emplaced along the flight path. Forty-four is the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists:MemorialWallPlus44thBlock30%The left side of this graphic shows the Memorial Wall, which follows the path of Flight 93 down to the point of impact. At eye level are 43 glass blocks. Forty are inscribed with the names of the 40 heroes. Three are inscribed with the 9/11 date.Right-hand image: the 44th glass block sits at the end of the Entry Portal Walkway, where the flight path crosses the upper crescent tip. It marks the spot where, in architect Paul Murdoch’s description, the terrorists broke our humanitarian circle, turning it into a giant (Islamic shaped) crescent. This circle-breaking, crescent-creating feat is memorialized by the inscription: ‘A field of honor forever.’The Park Service dismisses the suspicious block count on the grounds that the 44th glass block is much larger than the others. Mr. Burnett is not comforted by the magnificence of the 44th block, and neither are we. This design must be stopped, and investigations must be launched!Other petition formatsThe same four intolerable features are described in the annotated ‘Map of Betrayal’ that was the subject of one of last month’s blogbursts. Thus the map makes a perfectly serviceable back side for the petition, providing an alternative petition/flyer combination. The information on the map is denser than the explanations above, but has its own intrigue, showing how the different terrorist memorializing parts fit together like an elaborate puzzle. The petition being circulated on the ground now in Pennsylvania is still another variation. It has slightly different wording than the electronic petition, and slightly different explanations of the four points than presented above. All the different formats are interchangeable. They all highlight the same four objectionable features, and they will all be delivered together to state and federal legislators.Until we get a Congressional investigation, the petition will be an ongoing tool for raising awareness and registering opposition. If you participate in any activist fora or email lists, please forward the text and links along. (The electronic and paper-petition links are collected together on this petition Page at CrescentOfBetrayal.com.)Blogburst blogrollTo join, email Cao (caoilfhionn1 at gmail dot com) with your blog’s url. You can find all prior ‘Stop the Flight 93 Memorial Blogburst’ posts here

International Federation of Journalists Admits to Working For “Palestinian Cause”

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

wow they finally admitted to it.

International Federation of Journalists Admits to Working For “Palestinian Cause”: “

In a press release condemning Hamas for restricting press freedom, the International Federation of Journalists states:

‘This intimidation and political bullying of journalists does great damage to the Palestinian cause,’ said Aidan White, IFJ General Secretary. ‘It undermines efforts of journalists throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip to work together to build a unified media movement in favour of stability and democratic development.’

So the major reason to push for more press freedoms in Gaza isn’t to help inform the world about truth, but rather to further the ‘Palestinian cause.’

Can you imagine a statement from any international agency professing support for the ‘Zionist cause’ the way that these supposedly objective journalists explicitly support the ‘Palestinian cause?’

Apparently, press freedom is only important when it goes towards issues that the press supports. In 2002, the union gently chided Palestinian Arab journalists for unilaterally deciding not to take pictures of Palestinian Arab children with weapons – because those pictures were being used by some people to show PalArab depravity. No condemnation, just a statement that ‘We understand the deep frustration that journalists feel about those who try to manipulate the media message, but journalists need more freedom to do their job in Palestine, not less.’

The subtext is that of course it is the journalists who decide what is important and which should be highlighted – and which ignored. They choose the message and they aren’t thrilled with those who ‘manipulate’ it.

The IFJ claims to represent over 500,000 journalists in 110 countries. It includes members from the US – four unions are members – as well as Israel.

Senior Advisers To Clinton and Obama Visit Syria

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

It looks like the democratic nominees are supporting the terrorist supporting regime of Syria more than Saudi Arabia. It is just sad.

Senior Advisers To Clinton and Obama Visit Syria: “

At the same time as the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Egypt were refusing to travel to Syria for the Arab Summit, in protest of Syria’s actions in Lebanon, senior advisers to both the Clinton and Obama camps had no problem visiting with Syrian President, and unrepentant terror supporter Bashir Assad.

DEBKAfile’s Middle East sources name them as Zbigniew Brezhinsky, President Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser, who now advises Democratic Senator Barack Obama on foreign policy, and the Iranian-American Hassan Nemazee, one of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s principal donors.

The advisers to the two Democratic contenders were in Damascus last week as part of a RAND Corporation delegation. While Nemazee was tight-lipped on his talks with President Bashar Assad, Obama’s adviser stated: ‘The conversation dealt with recent regional developments, affirming that both sides have a common desire to achieve stability in the region, which would benefit both its people and the USA.’

These words, in the tone of an officiating government servant, raised new speculation about the Middle East policies of the Senator from Illinois and his attitude toward Israel.

However, Brezhinsky went so far as to portray Assad as a seeker of Middle East stability. This sounds odd to anyone familiar with the Syrian ruler’s record of permitting anti-American fighters, weapons and cash to flow from his country to Iraq, his violent destabilization of Lebanon, his arming of Hizballah and his playing host to the command centers of the most radical Palestinian terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Jihad Islami.

Brezhinsky in fact called on Assad only days after the master terrorist Imad Mughniyeh was assassinated in Damascus, exposing for all the world to see the welcome he and his ilk enjoy in the Syrian capital. [emphasis added]

Apparently it is of no concern to our Democratic presidential candidates that they are thumbing their noses at the House of Saud and Egypt’s President Mubarak, our allies in the region, by undercutting their attempts to isolate Syria.

And apparently, it does not matter one whit that Bashir Assad has been, and continues to be directly responsible for the death of U.S. troops, as he continues to allow Syria to be used as a conduit for arms and fighters flowing into Iraq.

And, of course, it does not matter that Syria has been complicit in undermining the democratic process in Lebanon, has been sponsoring the terrorist group Hizbollah in their attacks on Israel and has sided with Iran over US interests at every opportunity.

But… listen….
Not a peep in the mainstream media…

Presumptive Nominee? Jean Ziegler & UN Human Rights Council

Posted by avideditor on March 26, 2008

It looks like the UN is keeping up with its anti Semitic pro dictatorship bias. I hope we can stop Ziegler from gaining a seat. It looks like history is repeating itself neutral for the Swiss is siding with the nazis of our time.
