Can VP Cheney PLEASE Send Condi Rice an Email?

Posted by avideditor on March 22, 2008

Can VP Cheney PLEASE Send Condi Rice an Email?: “Today Vice President Dick Cheney stood in Jerusalem and announced that the US would not pressure Israel on security issues. That’s a bit strange because less than two weeks ago, Condoleezza Rice United States Secretary of State, and world class terrorist appeaser pressured Israel into stopping its military actions in Gaza. Those actions were bent on protecting its people from terrorist rocket fire. At the time Israeli Military Sources reported that indeed their hands have been tied once again by the hapless Prime Minister who’s only wish is to please Rice.

Both Olmert and Condi’s buddy, foreign minister Tzipi Livni are still carefully treading the line drawn by US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice, whose main preoccupation these days is to keep foreign crises at bay for the rest of the Bush presidency. So the Question becomes when Cheney said today that the US will not pressure Israel on security, do you think Condoleezza Rice was watching TV, maybe he could send her a memo or something.

Cheney says US won’t pressure Israel on security

‘We back Israel’s right to defend itself against rockets from Hamas-ruled Gaza,’ US vice president says during joint Jerusalem press conference with Olmert. ‘America’s commitment to Israel’s security is enduring and unshakable,’ he addd

The United States backed Israel’s right to defend itself against rockets from Hamas-ruled Gaza and will not pressure the Jewish state to take steps that threaten its security, US Vice President Dick Cheney told a joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusale Saturday evening.

‘America’s commitment to Israel’s security is enduring and unshakable, as is Israel’s right to protect itself always against terrorism, rocket attacks and other attacks from forces dedicated to Israel’s destruction,’ Cheney said, adding that ‘the United States will never pressure Israel to take steps that threaten its security.’

The vice president reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to the establishment of a Palestinian state, and assured Palestinian leaders that ‘they, too, can be certain of America’s goodwill’ as it tries to help Israel and the Palestinians reach an accord.

‘We want to see a resolution to the conflict, an end to the terrorism that has caused so much grief to Israelis, and a new beginning for the Palestinian people,’ he said, adding that ‘we must not and will not ignore darkening shadows of the situation in Gaza, in Lebanon, in Syria and Iran,’ and the threats these areas pose to Israel.

Olmert told the reporters that the meetings with Cheney will focus on the Iranian nuclear program, the rocket attacks from Gaza and the peace process.

During his 24-hour visit, Cheney is also expected to meet with President Shimon Peres Defense Minster Ehud Barak, opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who greeted the vice president at Ben Gurion Airport Saturday evening.

The vice-president’s spokesperson, Lea Anne McBride, said the meetings will also touch on ‘Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism and to protect its citizens.’

Cheney, who arrived in Israel after two days in Saudi Arabia, plans to attend an Easter service Sunday in Jerusalem, then head to Ramallah in the West Bank for talks with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

McBride said Cheney ‘looks forward to visiting the Palestinian territories to reaffirm the president’s commitment to the current efforts toward the two-state solution and efforts to strengthen Palestinian institutions.’

Most Israelis oppose cease fire with Hamas

Posted by avideditor on March 22, 2008

Most Israelis oppose cease fire with Hamas: “

Most Israelis arent as stupid as their government. A new poll indicates that a whopping 71% of Israelis oppose a cease fire with Hamas.
And a majority want real military action against the Gaza Strip: 26%
want to reoccupy Gaza, while another 33% want to undertake a limited
operation in Gaza after which the IDF would withdraw. Given that
approximately 20% of the country is Israeli Arabs, who were included
in the survey, the percentages among Jews are likely even higher.

There is also some interesting information about the rest of the countrys feelings towards southern Israel:

Recently
a persistent question has been whether Israels response to the ongoing
missile attacks is related to the fact that those on the receiving end
are peripheral communities of the South.

It turns out that a
majority – 56% – indeed thinks the government fails to assign supreme
urgency to tending to these communities security problems because of
their remoteness from the central region, and would not practice
restraint to the same extent if the center of the country was under
attack. Only a minority of 37% disagreed.

However, the public
also showed self-criticism on this issue: 51% assented that the
citizenry was less interested in the southern residents security
problems because of their remoteness from the center while 42%
dissented.

I wish I could see the next part of the survey
broken down by region of the country. In other words, I would like to
hear what those outside Tel Aviv said.

At the same time,
only 38% thought that the residents of ‘the state of Tel Aviv’ – a term
some in the media use to describe those in the center of the country –
do not identify with the southern residents suffering and 64% rejected
the claim that people in central Israel were less patriotic than those
in other parts of the country.

A majority of 55% denied that the
residents of the Center were not interested in the suffering of the
South, while 38% said they were. An even larger majority, of 64%
rejected the claim that those in ‘the state of Tel Aviv’ were less
patriotic than those in other parts of the country.

And who participated in this survey?

The
telephone interviews were conducted by the B. I. Cohen Institute of Tel
Aviv University on 3-4 March 2008 and included 590 interviewees who
represent the adult Jewish and Arab population of Israel (including the
Jewish population in the West Bank). The sampling error was 4.5%.

See, Jews arent so dumb after all. Its just their government.

Hillary Clinton Get Caught in ANOTHER LIE About Her Experience

Posted by avideditor on March 22, 2008

Hillary Clinton Get Caught in ANOTHER LIE About Her Experience: “New York’s Junior Senator Hillary Clinton keeps getting caught in lies about her foreign policy experience. Two weeks ago, Clinton was on CNN and claimed that she helped to bring peace to Northern Ireland . Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former First Minister of the province said Ms. Clinton’s claims were a ‘wee bit silly’ which is just a sophisticated British way of saying she is full of Blarney.

Now another Hillary invented myth gets shot to hell. Sen. Hillary Clinton has told about arriving in Bosnia under sniper fire kind of like a foreign policy hero, with a landing and escape under fire like a scene from an action movie. But the Washington Post retrieved a photo showing that upon landing, she actually was greeted in a customary tarmac ceremony, complete with a kiss for a native child.

Photo refutes Hillary’sniper fire’ account Image of Bosnia ceremony contradicts story used to boost foreign policy ‘cred’

Clinton has declared on the campaign trail that a welcoming ceremony for the March 25, 1996, arrival in Tuzla was canceled, and she had to run from the airplane into an airport building for safety. The then-first lady’s traveling party included 15-year-old daughter Chelsea, the comedian Sinbad and singer Sheryl Crow.

‘I remember landing under sniper fire,’ Clinton recounted. ‘There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.’

But the Post’s Michael Dobbs says that ‘as a reporter who visited Bosnia soon after the December 1995 Dayton Peace agreement, I can attest that the physical risks were minimal during this period, particularly at a heavily fortified U.S. Air Force base, such as Tuzla.’

Dobbs’s report in the Post’s ‘Fact Checker’ column has been noted by weblogs Newsbusters and HotAir.com but virtually ignored by mainstream media.

‘Had Hillary Clinton’s plane come ‘under sniper fire’ in March 1996, we would certainly have heard about it long before now,’ Dobbs writes.

He pointed out that numerous reporters, including the Post’s John Pomfret, covered Clinton’s trip, and a review of nearly 100 news accounts of their visit ‘shows that not a single newspaper or television station reported any security threat to the first lady.’

Pomfret declared, ‘As a former AP wire service hack, I can safely say that it would have been in my lead had anything like that happened,’.

Dobbs says Clinton and her entourage were greeted by smiling U.S. and Bosnian officials, and an 8-year-old Muslim girl, Emina Bicakcic, read a poem in English.

The actor Sinbad had a different account of the trip than Clinton, telling the Post’s ‘Sleuth’ column Monday the ‘scariest’ part was worrying about whether ‘we eat here or at the next place.’

Clinton defended her story on the campaign trail this week and dismissed the actor’s contention, saying, ‘Sinbad is a comedian.’

Clinton repeated the Bosnia story, saying she remembers ‘landing under sniper fire’ and that ‘we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.’

Passport “Snooping” Firm Run By OBAMA ADVISER

Posted by avideditor on March 22, 2008

Passport “Snooping” Firm Run By OBAMA ADVISER: “John O. Brennan, is a foreign policy and intelligence adviser to presidential candidate Barack Obama . He is also president and CEO of the Analysis Corp., the company that provided the State Department with the person that looked at the Passport files of both Senator Obama and McCain. Now I would not suggest that it was an attempt to get information on Senator McCain and that Obama’s file was looked at to throw possible investigators off the case….but I would suggest that the possibility be looked into

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a consultant to the Barack Obama campaign, a source said Saturday.

The security of the passport files of the top presidential candidates was breached, the State Department says.

Brennan briefed the media on behalf of the campaign this month.

The executive is a former senior CIA official and former interim director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

He contributed $2,300 to the Obama campaign in January.

When asked about the contribution, a State Department official told CNN’s Zain Verjee, ‘We ethically awarded contracts. Political affiliation is not one of the factors that we check.’

On Friday, the department revealed that Obama’s passport file was improperly accessed three times this year, and the passport files of the two other major presidential candidates — Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican John McCain — had also been breached. Watch the secretary of state apologize for the breach

Three contractors are accused in the wrongdoing, including the one who works for the Analysis Corp. and who was disciplined. That contractor accessed McCain’s file in addition to Obama’s. None of the contractors was identified.

The Washington Times, which broke the story Thursday night that Obama’s records had been improperly accessed, reported Saturday that the State Department inquiry is focusing on the Analysis Corp. employee. Also, the investigation by the department’s inspector general will include polygraph tests for supervisors in the passport section to find out whether there was any political motive.

The department spokesman said Saturday that he would not comment on whether the department was administering polygraphs to employees in connection with the investigation.

The other two contractors who worked for Stanley Inc. were fired.

‘While this is a rare occurrence, we regret the unauthorized access of any individual’s private information,’ the company said in a statement Friday.

Stanley has had contracts with the department since 1992 and was recently awarded a $570 million contract to continue providing support for passport processing. Its CEO, Philip Nolan, contributed $1,000 to the Clinton campaign.

The department official said the three contractors worked in three offices in the Washington area that are involved in various functions. One office does consular work and visas on evenings, holidays, weekends and overnights; another office issues passports; the third office scans and files materials.

The source said there has been no problem in the past with the Analysis Corp. employee, who has ‘extensive’ experience. The worker has been with the company for years and has always worked under a State Department contract.

Explaining that the department had ‘complimented’ this person for work in the past, the source said the individual is considered a ‘terrific’ employee, except for this one instance, characterized as an ‘aberration.’

The department asked the Analysis Corp. not to take any administrative action against the employee while the investigation is under way.

On Friday, the company released a statement saying it would fully cooperate with the federal investigation. The source said the Analysis Corp. has told the employee to do the same.

Echoing the State Department spokesman Friday, this source said there is no indication the motivation was anything but idle curiosity.

The source said the Analysis Corp. first learned of its employee’s actions Friday morning when it received a call from the State Department. In its statement, the firm confirmed that one of the contractors was an employee and called it ‘an isolated incident.

Geert Wilders Fitna Website Taken Down By Network Solutions

Posted by avideditor on March 22, 2008

Geert Wilders' Fitna Website Taken Down By Network Solutions: “

Geert Wilders new film is being attacked as a hatecrime by anonymous critics who have convinced his webhost, Network Solutions, to take the site down before the film has even been aired.

I guess he is guilty of ‘Pre-Crime.’

Remember this; religion, business, and government are institutions of power in society. As such, they MUST be criticized.

If we are not allowed to criticize a seminal center of power like religion, then we are left helpless when religion becomes fascistic.

This is about more than Islam, or Wilders movie. This is our Freedom.

If Network Solutions will not play by the rules of Western Civilization, then Network Solutions should be taken down.

HUMA ABEDIN – THE POWER BEHIND HILLARY’S THRONE

Posted by avideditor on March 22, 2008

HUMA ABEDIN – THE POWER BEHIND HILLARY’S THRONE: “Democrat ties to Terrorism have been reported in many articles from multiple sources BUT a Moslem MOLE so deeply embedded and trusted by a Democrat who wishes to be President at ANY PRICE is more than dangerous.

As much by Hillary’s burning desire for the top post as the presence of a Moslem who spent her childhood from the age of two till College age, in strictly Moslem Saudi Arabia. Whose mother wears a Moslem hejab. Whose family has deep-rooted ties to Al Qaeda (see link farther down).

AND the only other Democrat candidate, Obama, has worrying Moslem ties and has followed the guidance of a startling anti-American spiritual leader for over 20-years.

You may not like McCane – and many Conservative Republicans don’t, but unless you want a ‘Moslem’ next President of the USA, by influence if not directly by personal religion, then with those choices, McCain is a safer/BETTER bet on our future. Rather than Iran’s or Iraq’s or the fifty or so Moslem countries who use the United Nations to sabotage America.

Including voting out the Human Rights Declaration that had stood till now but a new declaration from them in Cairo states that Human Rights must conform to ISLAMIC human rights. Which means none at all.

Still have doubts? Remember the best SOVIET president you voted into power – Jimmuh the iidiot Carter, who caused our country more pain than any other president. Including by far, as per avid Democrats, George Bush!

Her family then relocated to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she lived until returning to the States for college.

She attended George Washington University. Her father, who died when she was 17, was an Islamic and Middle Eastern scholar of Indian decent. Drug Money For Hezbollah?: “CBS News

Evidence gathered by the Drug Enforcement Administration since a series of raids in January indicates that a methamphetamine drug operation in the Midwest involving men of Middle Eastern descent has been shipping money back to terrorist groups, officials said.

‘There is increasing intelligence information from the investigation that for the first time alleged drug sales in the United States are going in part to support terrorist organizations in the Middle East,’ DEA administrator Asa Hutchinson said.
