Proof That Obama Is Lying about Never Hearing Wright’s Venom

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Proof That Obama Is Lying about Never Hearing Wright’s Venom: “

Senator Barack Obama has said over and over the past few days that until recently he was totally unaware of his pastor’s venomous, hateful speeches. Of course this makes him one of the few people in the United States with internet access who didn’t know. But I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe his old hard drive fried and when he got a new computer he lost his AOL password and hasn’t been online for ten years or so.

Tonight I found that the benefit of doubt was misplaced. Newsmax has published proof that Obama attended at least one of Jeremiah Wrights hate feasts. What’s the proof? A Newsmax reporter was there with him on July 22 and published an article about it back then:

In fact, Obama was present in the South Side Chicago church on July 22 last year when Jim Davis, a freelance correspondent for Newsmax, attended services along with Obama. [See: ’Obama’s Church: Cauldron of Division.’]

In his sermon that day, Wright tore into America, referring to the ‘United States of White America’ and lacing his sermon with expletives as Obama listened. Hearing Wright’s attacks on his own country, Obama had the opportunity to walk out, but Davis said the senator sat in his pew and nodded in agreement.

Addressing the Iraq war, Wright thundered, ‘Young African-American men’ were ‘dying for nothing.’ The ‘illegal war,’ he shouted, was ‘based on Bush’s lies’ and is being ‘fought for oil money.’

Obama’s most famous celebrity backer, Oprah Winfrey began attending Wright’s church in 1984. Last year, Newsmax magazine reported that Winfrey abruptly stopped attending years ago, and suggested that she did so to distance herself from Wright’s inflammatory rhetoric. She soon found herself a target of Wright, who excoriated her for having broken with ‘traditional faith.’

The Reverend Wright’s anti-white theology that Senator Obama expressed surprise over is evident on the church’s website. The site says the congregation subscribes to what it calls the Black Value System, which is described as a disavowal of ‘our racist competitive society’ and the pursuit of ‘middle-classness.’ That is defined as a way for American society to ‘snare’ blacks rather than ‘killing them off directly’ or ‘placing them in concentration camps,’ just as the country structures ‘an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.’

Source:Obama Attended Hate America Sermon By: Ronald Kessler

Obama keeps claiming that he is a uniter and that he is all about ‘new politics,’ as proved by his handling of this Wright scandal he is a practitioner of the old politics of lying about your past. I guess his next move will be to say that he always sleeps during the sermons, so he never actually heard them.

Muslims Announce 5 New Holy Sites

As is rather well known, Muslims have the funny habit of appropriating other people’s holy sites or just property and announcing that they’re now a Muslim holy site. This is particularly helped, when Mohammed FBUH (Fleas Be Upon Him) had visited there, or someone had claimed he visited there or someone could make up a wacky story about him being taken there by an angel on a flying horse. (Seriously, if you’ve got an angel already, why do you also need the flying horse? It seems redundant.)

In any case Muslims have now announced the 5 new holy sites they will be naming. As per usual these sites will now become off limits to non-Muslims and Muslims will be entitled to fight a Jihad to recover them back into Muslim hands.

It has come to the attention of the followers of the prophet that Mohammed once visited Hell and remained to reside there permanently. As such Hell is now the holiest Muslim site there is. Shortly all the remaining Muslims will be making pilgrimages there to be with their prophet.

All non-Muslims are asked to stay away from Hell, as this is now exclusively Muslim property, reserved for Muslims only.

We hope they will be very happy there.

The other sites can be seen here Thanx to Sultan Knish

Obamas Church, Sabeel and radicalized Palestinian Christians

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Obama's Church, Sabeel and radicalized Palestinian Christians: “

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is troubled by the United Church of Christs continuing partnership with the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center, a radicalized Palestinian Christian group whose leaders have openly questioned Israels right to exist.

Lifting up the rock, what comes crawling out of Obamas church get uglier and deadlier ……….. Go over to Husaria

Obama???s Church Connected to Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center

Sabeel calls the establishment of Israel ???The Catastrophe??? (Nakba)

From the Web site of the United Church of Christ; enter zip code 60628 in the search box and click on ???Find a Church.??? The first entry that comes up is:

Address 400 W 95TH ST , CHICAGO IL 60628-1120

Yes, Barack Obama???s church, the Trinity United Church of Christ, is affiliated with the United Church of Christ. Now let???s take a look at the United Church of Christ???s less than savory connections with the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center.

ADL Troubled by United Church of Christ???s Embrace of Radicalized Palestinian Christian Group

New York, NY, January 10, 2006 ??? The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is troubled by the
United Church of Christ???s continuing partnership with the Sabeel
Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center, a radicalized Palestinian
Christian group whose leaders have openly questioned Israel???s right to

Now, Barack Hussein Obama and his shills are telling us that he is
supportive of Israel, but this is what the United Church of Christ
(UCC), of which Trinity United Church of Christ is a member, supports.

Note that we are citing the Web site of the United Church of Christ???s friends at sabeel.org.

Do you want to know more about Current Realities in Palestine ???

Our vision for this conference is to gather, network,
and further educate young leaders from Palestine and around the world,
during this 60th year of commemorating the Nakba; so
that they may be trained, commissioned, and equipped with the tools to
act in advocacy to work for justice and peace in the Holy Land.

60 years ago would be 1947-1948, i.e. the establishment of Israel as
opposed to the Six Day War. Doesn???t ???nakba??? mean ???disaster,??? which is
Palestinian for existence of Israel?

Palestinian Children under occupation

We were all children at one time; and we all have our
childhood memories – some that we cherish and others that we would
rather forget. Palestinians who were children in 1948 are now
grandmothers and grandfathers. They remember their towns and villages,
their homes, their orange groves, their olive trees, and the streets
where they played with their friends. They remember the terraced hills,
the vineyards, and the fig trees, lovingly tended by their parents and

This was shattered by a nightmare that will not come to an end: the 1948 Nakba (or catastrophe)
turned their lives upside down. Today, fifty-three years later, they
are still trying to shake it off. The prayer on their lips is always:
???May our children see better days.??? The miracle is that they never lost

This document is the fruit of several months of discernment, prayer and preparation. We
released it on May15 th because of the symbolic significance of that
date. It was on May15 , 1948 that the state of Israel was established,
and the Palestinian Nakba (Catastrophe) is remembered
. Be that
as it may, we believe that a just peace is still possible and a life of
security and reconciliation is within our reach. In light of the events
of the last few weeks we hope that you will sincerely reflect on the
content, and then act according to conscience. Our faith in the living
God obliges us to press on. ??????I have set before you life and death ???
Choose life so that you ??? may live??? (Deuteronomy30 :19). Sabeel chooses
to stand for justice. We can do no other. We invite you, indeed, we
beseech you, to stand with us.

Canon Naim Ateek
Sabeel Center, Jerusalem

Now let???s take a look at the United Church of Christ???s own Web site. All links are to domain ucc.org.

Tutu criticizes ???collective punishment??? of Palestinians

South African Archbishop Desmund Tutu
(c.), a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, is pictured with Massachusetts
Conference Minister Jim Antal (l.) and the Rev. Nancy Taylor (r.),
senior pastor of Old South UCC in Boston.

Tutu keynoted a two-day conference, held at the church, Oct. 26-27, titled ???The Apartheid Paradigm in Palestine-Israel.??? ???The event was sponsored by the Sabeel Center, a Palestinian-Christian organization with partnership ties to the UCC, which rented Old South???s sanctuary for the event.

We have therefore established that:
(1) Barack Hussein Obama???s church, the Trinity United Church of Christ
(tucc.org) is part of the United Church of Christ (ucc.org)
(2) The UCC is cooperating actively with the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center
(3) The Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center???s web site refers repeatedly to the creation of Israel (NOT just the ???occupation??? of the West Bank) as Al Nakba, ???The Catastrophe.???

Res ipsa loquitur, the thing speaks for itself.

Hamas using U.S. weapons

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Hamas using U.S. weapons: “

More evidence of the folly of the Fantasy-Based Policymaking that has us pouring money and materiel into the Palestinian Authority.

By Aaron Klein for WorldNetDaily (thanks to Sr. Soph):

JERUSALEM – The Hamas terrorist group used U.S. weapons against the Israel Defense Forces this weekend, a Hamas official told WND.

The weapons were seized when Hamas last June took complete control of the Gaza Strip, overtaking all U.S.-backed security compounds in the territory associated with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party.

‘We fired at incoming Israeli helicopters using the seized weapons. We will continue to balance the equilibrium of terror with the Zionists,’ said Hamas spokesman Abu Oubeida.

more video from Obama’s spiritual leader

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Obama chose his church based off its leader. He was a member and supported these messages for 20 years. He got married and baptized his kids in this church. So these are Obama’s views as well, if they where not he would have left the church. This pastor is not just some Obama supporter. Obama has been this Pastor’s supporter for the last 20 years.

Update: Go to Little Green Footballs, which has video where Obama praises his pastor

Update 2: It is back on youtube but if the video bellow is pulled again you can access it at Little Green Footballs.

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Watch the movie Islam: what the west needs to know

UPDATE: There is no Islamophobia only Islamorealism

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.: “Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called ‘religious rights.’

When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to ‘the reasonable’ Muslim demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)).

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

United States — Muslim 1.0%
Australia — Muslim 1.5%
Canada — Muslim 1.9%
China — Muslim 1%-2%
Italy — Muslim 1.5%
Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:

Denmark — Muslim 2%
Germany — Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom — Muslim 2. 7%
Spain — Muslim 4%
Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.

They will push for the introduction of halaal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. (United States).

France — Muslim 8%
Philippines — Muslim 5%
Sweden — Muslim 5%
Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris — car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam — Mohammed cartoons).

Guyana — Muslim 10%
India — Muslim 13.4%
Israel — Muslim 16%
Kenya — Muslim 10%
Russia — Muslim 10-15%

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:

Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:

Bosnia — Muslim 40%
Chad — Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:

Albania — Muslim 70%
Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%
Qatar — Muslim 77.5%
Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:

Bangladesh — Muslim 83%
Egypt — Muslim 90%
Gaza — Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%
Iran — Muslim 98%
Iraq — Muslim 97%
Jordan — Muslim 92%
Morocco — Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan — Muslim 97%
Palestine — Muslim 99%
Syria — Muslim 90%
Tajikistan — Muslim 90%
Turkey — Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Isla mic House of Peace — there’s supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim:

Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
Somalia — Muslim 100%
Yemen — Muslim 99.9%

Of course, that’s not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons.

‘Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world. And all of us against the infidel. — Leon Uris, ‘The Haj’

It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France, the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national average would indicate.

NY Times: In defense of Islamic Law

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

UPDATE: Holger Awakens just posted on this story. I recommend reading it.

NY Times: In defense of Islamic Law: “This is totally reprehensible and shows how far left the morons at the Times have gone.  The disgusting alliance between Islam and the left has created a two-headed monster. This writer should be fired…period.NY Times – Why Shariah by Noah Feldman

In some sense, the outrage about according a degree of official status to Shariah in a Western country should come as no surprise. No legal system has ever had worse press. To many, the word ‘Shariah’ conjures horrors of hands cut off, adulterers stoned and women oppressed. By contrast, who today remembers that the much-loved English common law called for execution as punishment for hundreds of crimes, including theft of any object worth five shillings or more? How many know that until the 18th century, the laws of most European countries authorized torture as an official component of the criminal-justice system? As for sexism, the common law long denied married women any property rights or indeed legal personality apart from their husbands. When the British applied their law to Muslims in place of Shariah, as they did in some colonies, the result was to strip married women of the property that Islamic law had always granted them — hardly progress toward equality of the sexes. In fact, for most of its history, Islamic law offered the most liberal and humane legal principles available anywhere in the world. Today, when we invoke the harsh punishments prescribed by Shariah for a handful of offenses, we rarely acknowledge the high standards of proof necessary for their implementation. Before an adultery conviction can typically be obtained, for example, the accused must confess four times or four adult male witnesses of good character must testify that they directly observed the sex act. The extremes of our own legal system — like life sentences for relatively minor drug crimes, in some cases — are routinely ignored. We neglect to mention the recent vintage of our tentative improvements in family law. It sometimes seems as if we need Shariah as Westerners have long needed Islam: as a canvas on which to project our ideas of the horrible, and as a foil to make us look good.

Funny, full of irony AP photo from anti-war demostration in Barcelona

Funny, full of irony AP photo from anti-war demostration in Barcelona: “

A demonstrater wearing a burka marches during a demonstration in Barcelona, Spain, Saturday March 15, 2008 marking the fifth anniversary of U.S. led war in Iraq. The demonstrators were protesting against the current occupation of Iraq, Palestinian territories and Afghanistan. Banner reads ‘We Afghan women will free ourselves’. (AP Photo/Carmelo Esteban)

Yet somehow, they don’t see the irony of the burqa wearing woman carrying this banner, a woman who wants to free herself from Americans rather than the from religious prison of Islam.

Obama’s Church Plays The Victim Card

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Obama’s Church Plays The Victim Card: “

After blaming America for everything from HIV to 9/11, it was inevitable that the church would continue playing the victim card. Now they accuse the media for character assassination! But as others point out, isn’t it character suicide when the ‘victim’ provides the posion?

The Chicago church attended by Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) issued a statement Sunday contending that coverage of his pastor’s inflammatory remarks amounted to character assassination and ‘an attack on … the history of the African American church.’Obama distanced himself from inflammatory comments by the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., retiring pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ, after they circulated on YouTube last week and were played repeatedly by cable news channels.Wright, condemning society as racist, said, ‘God [expletive] America’ and referred to the ‘U.S. of KKK-A.’The statement begins: ‘Nearly three weeks before the 40th commemorative anniversary of the murder of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.’s character is being assassinated in the public sphere because he has preached a social gospel on behalf of oppressed women, children and men in America and around the globe.’The statement adds: ‘Trinity United Church of Christ’s ministry is inclusive and global.’

Inclusive and global? Calling America the US of KKK-A is inclusive and global? The victim card has apparantly become a crutch for this church.”(Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)

More Gems From Pastor Race Pimp Wright

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Video of Obama praising the pastor when running for the senate.

 Video of Obama’s spiritual leader

More Gems From Pastor Race Pimp Wright: “

Here’s what Obama’s beloved pastor had to say at a sermon given at Howard University in 2006.

‘We’ve got more black men in prison than there are in college,’ he began. ‘Racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. No black man will ever be considered for president, no matter how hard you run Jesse [Jackson] and no black woman can ever be considered for anything outside what she can give with her body.’

People are in prison because they commit crimes. It’s not like there are a bunch of white criminals that police go out of their way to ignore in favor of some black people. Puh-leeze.And how is it that Asians, who are not white, come here, get educated, then work hard at their jobs? Do we ever hear them whining about how they’re victims of white racism, and how they’re never given any chances? Never! They are too busy working hard and bettering themselves. Nor do their women go around getting knocked up, and squirting out children just for welfare benefits.

Mr. Wright thundered on: ‘America is still the No. 1 killer in the world. . . . We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns, and the training of professional killers . . . We bombed Cambodia, Iraq and Nicaragua, killing women and children while trying to get public opinion turned against Castro and Ghadhafi . . . We put [Nelson] Mandela in prison and supported apartheid the whole 27 years he was there. We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God.’

If this man hates America so much, then why doesn’t he just leave?!? Most normal people would leave a country and go someplace else if they thought they could make better lives for themselves. That’s why European, Jewish and Asian immigrants came to the U.S., where they prospered. If he loves Castro and Ghadafi so much, why doesn’t he just move to either Cuba or Libya? What kind of sick individual would stick up for a communist and a terrorist dictator responsible for the PanAm bombing?

His voice rising, Mr. Wright said, ‘We supported Zionism shamelessly while ignoring the Palestinians and branding anybody who spoke out against it as being anti-Semitic. . . . We care nothing about human life if the end justifies the means. . . .’

Actually, the fakestinians are human only in the physical sense. Otherwise, they are Amalekite beasts, as is Pastor Wright.

Concluding, Mr. Wright said: ‘We started the AIDS virus . . . ‘

No, the AIDS virus started in Africa from people there eating monkey meat. And if you’re not screwing everything in sight, then you are VERY unlikely to catch the virus.

We are only able to maintain our level of living by making sure that Third World people live in grinding poverty. . . .

So Bill Gates made his billions by oppressing some goat herders in Africa?

Considering this view of America, it’s not surprising that in December Mr. Wright’s church gave an award to Louis Farrakhan for lifetime achievement. In the church magazine, Trumpet, Mr. Wright spoke glowingly of the Nation of Islam leader. ‘His depth on analysis [sic] when it comes to the racial ills of this nation is astounding and eye-opening,’ Mr. Wright said of Mr. Farrakhan. ‘He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest.’

America-haters of a feather flock together.

After Newsmax broke the story of the award to Farrakhan on Jan. 14, Mr. Obama issued a statement. However, Mr. Obama ignored the main point: that his minister and friend had spoken adoringly of Mr. Farrakhan, and that Mr. Wright’s church was behind the award to the Nation of Islam leader.Instead, Mr. Obama said, ‘I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan. I assume that Trumpet magazine made its own decision to honor Farrakhan based on his efforts to rehabilitate ex-offenders, but it is not a decision with which I agree.’ Trumpet is owned and produced by Mr. Wright’s church out of the church’s offices, and Mr. Wright’s daughters serve as publisher and executive editor.

How brain dead are we as a country considering this man could very well be our next President? No white candidate with ties to Stormfront would ever have gotten this far.

Mr. Obama went on to explain Mr. Wright’s anti-Zionist statements as being rooted in his anger over the Jewish state’s support for South Africa under its previous policy of apartheid. As with his previous claim that his church gave the award to Mr. Farrakhan because of his work with ex-offenders, Mr. Obama appears to have made that up.

Seems this black supremacist closet Muslim and his so-called pastor can get away with anything.

As for Mr. Wright’s repeated comments blaming America for the 9/11 attacks because of what Mr. Wright calls its racist and violent policies, Mr. Obama has said it sounds as if the minister was trying to be ‘provocative.’

I doubt Obama would use that term to describe a Christian Identity church.

Indeed, Mr. Obama has described Mr. Wright as his ‘sounding board’ during the two decades he has known him. Mr. Obama has said he found religion through the minister in the 1980s. He joined the church in 1991 and walked down the aisle in a formal commitment of faith. The title of Mr. Obama’s bestseller ‘The Audacity of Hope’ comes from one of Wright’s sermons. Mr. Wright is one of the first people Mr. Obama thanked after his election to the Senate in 2004. Mr. Obama consulted Mr. Wright before deciding to run for president. He prayed privately with Mr. Wright before announcing his candidacy last year.

Talk is cheap. You can tell a lot by a person just by looking at who he associates with.Do you all remember how there were liberals who threatened to leave the country if Whore-hey Bush was re-elected? Well I remember once speaking with a man at a right wing event who said he would gladly raise money for such people to leave, if they were to sign a document saying they would never return to the U.S. Anyway, I think the same thing should be done for Pastor Race Pimp Wright. He should be offered a nice lump sum of money to renounce his U.S. citizenship and leave the country to go live somewhere in Africa. And before any of you start crying ‘racist,’ I think we should do the same thing for the many America-hating white liberals. They can go to their beloved Cuba, whose healthcare system they rave about.

Even PalArabs believe that Western aid increases corruption

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

Even PalArabs believe that Western aid increases corruption: “From Ma’an:

Two out of three Palestinians believe that financial assistance from the West fosters corruption and foments the conflict between Fatah and Hamas.

This is one of the findings of a new report by Fafo, the Norwegian research institute that hosted secret talks between the PLO and Israel in Olso 1993 that later led to historic peace negotiations and the inception of limited self-rule in Palestine.

Fafo’s researchers interviewed 4,000 Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, between 22 February and 4 March, about the political and economic situation in the occupied territories. Most of those surveyed to not believe that aid from the West has improved conditions.

According to the study, 63% think the aid encourages corruption and that the aid does little or nothing to fight poverty. 69% percent believe financial support aggravates the conflict between Fatah and Hamas.

One out of five Palestinian households includes a person who wants to leave, 20% to the West. The remaining 80% of those who want to move wish to settle elsewhere in Palestine or in other Arab countries. Only 42% believe they will get the chance to move.

…Just 44% support Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations, down from 77% in December 2006.

The Open Door to Violence

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

The Open Door to Violence: “The media and the international community has one set of moral rules for terrorists and a second set for those who fight them. While civilized people understand the fundamental moral gap between terrorists and the police and military forces fighting them, the self-proclaimed guardians of our moral high ground repeatedly reverse that gap, damning even the most elementary military tactics and demanding that we respect the civil rights of terrorists — while excusing the crimes and atrocities of the terrorists themselves as merely ‘reactions’ to our oppression of them.

In other words we can’t have the moral high ground, so why bother trying for it?

The liberal definition of moral high ground is dependent on the tactics we use and the originating causes of the violence. The conservative definition of moral high ground is rooted in our purpose and the nature of the enemy.

While liberals concentrate on means and causes, conservatives concentrate on ends and the dualism of good against evil. It’s an unbreachable gap for as long as liberals remain indoctrinated in their belief in the fundamentally evil nature of civilization and conservatives remain committed to the defense of civilization.

The attempt to achieve some sort of middle ground by limiting interrogation techniques to waterboarding or providing comfortable conditions at Gitmo and maintaining a legal process throughout has failed utterly, because as usual any government tactic to fight terrorism, no matter how moderate, is immediately compared to Nazi Germany and fascism. It’s a pointless argument that can only be won by common sense or a blunt object.

It’s not a debate that can be won so there’s no point in bothering with it. Defending a nation against the Islamic threat is rooted first and foremost in the right of a people to survive. Today that is a real threat in Israel and Europe which are under relentless attack by Islam, yet too many Israelis, Americans and Europeans are invested in preserving some sort of moral high ground. But our moral high ground comes not from the choice of tactics but from the fact that we are defending our nations and fighting for their survival. The defense of home and hearth is the only moral high ground we need.

All options are on the table for our enemies and that means all options should be on the table for us. We are not merely facing a war, we are facing every sort of atrocity followed by demographic overrun and an eventual choice between eradication and enslavement. In the face of that horror, some flee, some collaborate and some stand their ground.

The first option taken off the table should be any need to comply with some imaginary moral high ground. The media and the UN and the EU have increasingly legitimized the tactics of terrorists while delegitimizing the tactics of those fighting against terrorism. There is no benefit to maintaining a ‘purity of arms’ or to constantly show our moral superiority to the enemy when the cost is so enormous.

The equation for fighting terrorism need not be put in terms of moral superiority but in the basic self-interest of self-defense. If the moral high ground is gone, so much the better. We never needed it anyway. We only need to know what we’re fighting for and why. The moral high ground debates bog everything down in the swamp of justification and counter-justification, in arguments over acceptable violence and unacceptable violence.

If liberals and terrorists feel that all violence is acceptable for Islamic terrorism, why shouldn’t we make the identical argument in reverse. Take the limits, the boundaries off the table. After all the only real incentive for every moral development in Western warfare was that each side had an interest in protecting itself from the other side by taking a tactic off the table. Muslim terrorists have never been forced to cope with this because we are bound by far more rules than they are. Yet the unrestrained reality of naked force may be the only way to show them why restraint is not only moral but in their own interest after all. They’ve opened the door to violence but only going through that door can help them learn the need to shut it.”

Top Hareidi Rabbi Bans Arab Labor Following Merkaz HaRav Attack

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

I hope all Israelis follow suit. I expressed similar ideas in my blog entry last week

Top Hareidi Rabbi Bans Arab Labor Following Merkaz HaRav Attack: “Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, a top Hareidi-Religious Torah sage, has issued a Jewish legal ruling banning the employment of Arab workers.”(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, considered a top Torah sage of the generation in the Hareidi-Religious community, issued a Jewish legal decision banning the employment of Arab workers by Jews according to the Yom Chadash daily. The rabbi issued the decision at a meeting with several administrators of yeshivas in B’nei Brak. The administrators told the rabbi that they had under they employ an older Arab man who they do not suspect of any involvement in terrorism. The administrators decided, nonetheless to seek halachic (Jewish legal) guidance following reports that the terrorist who carried out the massacre at Jerusalem’s Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva had been hired as a driver on occasion.“According to Jewish law, it is completely forbidden to hire Arabs, especially in yeshivas,” Rabbi Kanievsky said. “There is a concern of endangering lives.”The rabbi continued, explaining, “After all, we are at war with them…and are there not Jews that can work and make a living?”Asked later on if his words should be publicized, Rabbi Kanievsky said: “Certainly.”Rabbi Kanievsky went even further, saying that Jews should refrain from employing any non-Jews, not just Muslim Arabs, and instead grant livelihood to Jews, unless there exist huge disparity between the costs of the labor.Rabbi Kanievsky is one of the most recognized authorities in Hareidi-religious society. He is the son of the Steipler Rebbe, Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov Kanievsky, and the son-in-law of Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, the leader of Lithuanian Hareidi Jewry.Avoda Ivrit Hotline Set UpFor several years a revival of the concept of Avoda Ivrit – Jewish labor – has been taking place in the Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria regions –particularly in hilltop communities. Exclusive: Serious falling-out between Israel’s Barak and Washington over peace track

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

This news made my night. Following Rice’s peace plan would be suicide for Israel. I am happy Barak decided it is more important to protect the lives of the jews then listen to Rice. Bush should fire her. She has gone native at the state department and absorbed their hate for Israel. She is supposed to serve the presidents interests in the state department. Well I am glad Barak is protecting the jewish people.

Exclusive: Serious falling-out between Israel’s Barak and Washington over peace track: “

DEBKAfile’s Washington and Israeli sources report that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the three US generals, who act as US envoys for the Israel-Palestinian peace track have accused Israel’s defense minister Ehud Barak of sabotaging Rice’s Middle East policy objectives. This accusation was first raised by Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas. Barak denies the charges.

Chancellor Merkel’s Israel visit underscores defense cooperation, but no commitment to showdown with Iran

Posted by avideditor on March 16, 2008

This is unfortunate. It looks like the germans want to be complicit in another Holocaust

Chancellor Merkel’s Israel visit underscores defense cooperation, but no commitment to showdown with Iran: “

German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrives in Israel Sunday, March 16, accompanied by seven of her top cabinet ministers. She will launch joint German-Israel cabinet-level consultations to take place in the two capitals in turn once a year. Tuesday, she becomes the first German chancellor to address the Israeli parliament. She will speak in German. Her four-day trip honors Israel’s 60th anniversary.

DEBKAfile comments: This initiative marks the Merkel government’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. At the same time, the chancellor while promising pressure on Tehran is known to hold fast against an extreme showdown with Iran over its covert military nuclear program. Her statement in a podcast on the eve of her trip – ‘The threats to which the Israeli state is exposed are also threats to us’- neatly bridges the two positions.
