Iranian Regime Smacks John McCain In Bizarro Video

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

I hope McCain wins. This video is amazing. It looks like Iran is trying to appeal to the american left. The funny thing is they don’t see Soros as being on their side that is weird.

Iranian Regime Smacks John McCain In Bizarro Video: “Well, not everyone was happy with John McCain’s night

The Iranian Regime knows that John McCain is not the candidate they want to see sitting in the White House come November.

So the regime thought that it would do its part to sway voters by producing some bizarro John McCain YouTube video, via MEMRI

John McCain did not exactly expect to get the mullah’s backing anyway.

They had already endorsed Obama.”

The winner of the most intriguing comments of the day go to mitvahGedolah

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

In order to encourage great comments I will feature the best ones as posts. Today the top two where on the same thread. The first one

If you are devout then you must realize that what you are preaching is wrong. Dont you have any value for human life? Why do your people kill innocent civilians in the name of religion? Do you personally denounce this? Does your mosque? If so, I apologize. But my experience with the vast majority of Muslim believers is that they believe, as you mentioned, “Jews will go to hell”. These are your own words…

In our belief all the righteous of all religions have a place in the world to come. If you are truely righteous and you return to believe in the ONE G-D, you have a chance at repentance. But it is YOUR belief which is the racist one… Your Immams call for death to the Jew, how the Jew will hide behind the rocks, etc…. We have no such belief in our religion. We believe we are all made in the image of our creator, you too. Which is why I offered you a chance to repent your evil ways.We pray three times a day… Do you think you are superiour because you think your praying five times a day? Does that mean your prayers are more dear to the Master of the Universe? It is not so…We want to live in peace… Your people have historically been a people who subjugated my people. Your people have a history of destroying our holy sites, lying about our holy men, and generally doing everything to enrage us.Hashem will help me when Israel is once again the Holy Land for the Jewish people. We dont want your holy lands, we only want the non-believers out of Israel so that we may establish the holy temple. You have your Mecca and Medina, what do you want with Jerusalem {which is not even mentioned in Koran}. BTW, Islam started in the year 700CE while Judaism had existed in Israel for over 2500 years before. Your people were invaders. Let Israel live in peace.I have every reason to be angry with your people. Your people have been killing my people for a long time. We will fight and we will defend our territory. When your Allah has an answer, please inform us what he tells you…

The second one

I have answered your questions as to why I am angry. My people are being rocket attacked each day by the people who follow your religion. I read about mothers who send their children out wearing suicide vests. I read about children who are raised with the hope that they will die a shahid. Why do you worship a god who wants you to kill yourself? To me and to my G-d it is nothing short of evil.

You may delude yourself into thinking you are following the way to peace. I am a victim of Islamic terrorism, my brother was killed on 9/11 in the World Trade Center. Your barbaric brothers and sisters celebrated my brothers death. My brother was guilty of going to work to support his wife and his two children. You have the gall to say I am the racist when your people appear every day, chanting “Death to America!”, “Death to Israel”, “Death to Jews”. This is the racist evil which you support.I never intended to suggest that I can absolve you of anything. I ask you to repent to your Maker, ask for his forgiveness for your involvement with evil forces. If you pray five times a day, why not spend some of that prayer time praying for peace with your neighbor. This is what I pray for. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the restoration of the Holy Temple, and resumption of the Avodah {Service}. I dont pray for any evil, only that my people be protected by Hashems divine will against the agression of the Islamic people. You seem very smug and misguided. The fact you pray five times a day is inconsequential. The Patriarchs themselves instituted THREE PRAYERS a day, one in the morning {Saachris}, one in the afternoon {Mincha}, and one in the evening {Maariv}. You can read more about this @http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_services .Personally I hope you find your way through the morass of Islam, as many I know who have encountered it have left it because of its evil ways. If you are a moral and balanced person, very well…. But beware, you are messing with evil forces.

I hope my readers have found these comments to be intriguing as well. Feel free to respond on this thread or the previous one.

Magic Bullet

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

The Palis blame everything on Israel. It is time they realized that they got them selves into this mess and take some responsibility and push out the Jihadis.

Magic Bullet: “

To amplify on something Dave wrote in the previous posting here:

al-Aretz headlines:

IDF kills infant, top Islamic Jihad militant in southern Gaza

And in the details we learn:

A two-week-old Palestinian infant was killed after nightfall on Tuesday in a brief Israel Defense Forces ground operation in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials said, just a day after Israel ended a bloody offensive in northern Gaza against Palestinian rocket squads.

A senior Islamic Jihad operative, Yussuf Samiri, was also killed. Israeli defense officials said that Samiri had been the intended target of the operation.

…Witnesses said IDF tanks fired shells and fighter helicopters fired missiles. A 1-month-old baby girl, Amira Abu-Assar, was killed by a ricocheting bullet, medical officials said.

How exactly do the Palestinian Arab ‘medical officials’ always know that Israeli bullets are the ones that invariably kill civilians whenever there is a firefight? One would expect to see some Palestinian Arab casualties from ‘friendly fire,’ but for some reason those incidents are never reported.

Palestine Today (Arabic) reports that ‘fighters from the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, fought in violent armed clashes with automatic weapons and anti-tank missiles’ during this battle. So clearly there were bullets flying from both sides.

Do Gaza police have forensics labs that can identify bullet fragments, perform some metallurgical and chemical tests, look at the trajectories and ricochet angles, and definitively identify their source within minutes of the fatality?

In every single incident of civilian death, Israel is blamed, and so-called ‘news’ organizations – including Israel’s major pro-Arab newspaper – report the Palestinian Arab claims without skepticism or question.

Jerusalem police stand up to the Wakf, stop illegal Temple Mount work

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

All I can say is about time. I can not wait to see that blasphemous dome fall.

Jerusalem police stand up to the Wakf, stop illegal Temple Mount work: “The Jerusalem police finally stood up to the Wakf – the Islamic police that de facto control the Temple Mount. The police put a stop to illegal ‘construction work’ taking place on the Mount. Jerusalem police chief Aharon Franco said that police blocked Arab workers from continuing to carry out ‘surfacing work’ in an unauthorized area.

Malaysian sentenced to 2 years in jail for abandoning Islam to join banned sect

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

It is just great to see how tolerant and free Islam is when it has control over a country. It is sick that they are using our freedoms in-order to try to destroy them.

Malaysian sentenced to 2 years in jail for abandoning Islam to join banned sect: “

Sharia Alert from modern, moderate Malaysia, via AP (thanks to Morgaan Sinclair):

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) – A Muslim-born woman arrested for joining a banned sect was sentenced to two years in jail for renouncing her religion, her lawyer said Tuesday.

The case underscores growing concern about religious freedom in this mostly Muslim nation, where Islamic Shariah courts _ which govern the personal conduct and religious lives of Muslims _ have invariably refused to sanction the conversion of people who try to leave Islam.

A Shariah High Court judge in eastern Terengganu state ruled Monday that Kamariah Ali is still a Muslim despite her declaration to the contrary.

«The court is not convinced that the accused has repented and is willing to abandon any teachings contrary to Islam,» news reports quoted Judge Muhammad Abdullah as saying. «I pray God will open the doors of your heart, Kamariah….

Notice To Jihadists: America’s Memory Is Long, Our Reach Just As Long

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

Another great article from Holger Awakens. Anyone that isn’t following this blog should.

Notice To Jihadists: America’s Memory Is Long, Our Reach Just As Long: “

This is shaping up to be fantastic news. Yesterday’s missile attack by the U.S. against an al Qaeda safe house in southern Somalia, on the border of Kenya, was targeting the al Qaeda operative, Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan. The Washington Times reported the result this way:

Nabhan was ‘found, targeted, and killed’ along with an unspecified number of al Qaeda operatives in the town of Dhobley along the southern border with Kenya

Now, in this post from Bill Roggio’s The Long War Journal, Bill notes that Saleh has not been confirmed dead and that U.S. forces need to cordone the safe house off and take DNA samples – psssst…that means old Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan is in quite a few pieces at the moment. haha!

But here is what I want to focus on. Most of us did not know who Saleh was until yesterday or today. Saleh is the al Qaeda in northern Africa jihadist who was responsible for the following according to The Long War Journal article:

Nabhan is wanted by the FBI for questioning in connection with the 2002 attacks in Mombasa, Kenya against a hotel and an airliner.
Nabhan is also wanted for involvement in the 1998 suicide attacks against US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

You see it? Saleh Nabhan was wanted by the U.S. for attacks 10 YEARS AGO !!! And thus the reason for the title of this posting – American memories are long and the reach of our forces against terrorists is long. Very long.
Consider this – this piece of shit has been walking around for 10 years since he directed attacks on the U.S. embassy in Kenya…and 10 years after the fact, with the U.S. up to its elbows in al Qaeda in Iraq, with the U.S. shouldering most of the effort in the War against the Taliban in Afghanistan, we STILL have the resources, the time, and the drive to launch a cruise missile strike against this fuck half a world away while he sits down at a dusty table in a hut in Somalia. Piece of crap never knew what hit him.

So, to all the jihadists in the world that have levelled attacks against the U.S. in the past 10 years, or 20 years or in the last 10 days…we are coming for you. Might not be tomorrow, might not be this year. Hell, it might be 10 years from now, but you will die. You will pay for your crimes against the American people. And to each of the Iranian Qods Forces commanders who have been instrumental in coordinating the deaths of American troops in Iraq…this goes for you. We have your names, we have your photos and sooner or later, we’ll have your ass.

Al Qaeda leader Saleh target of US airstrike in southern Somalia
By Bill Roggio
March 4, 2008 9:43 AM

Yesterday’s airstrike against an al Qaeda safe house targeted Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan, a senior operative for al Qaeda’s network in eastern Africa. Nabhan was ‘found, targeted, and killed’ along with an unspecified number of al Qaeda operatives in the town of Dhobley along the southern border with Kenya, The Washington Times reported.
The US military has not confirmed Saleh’s death. The US military will need to secure the attack site to obtain DNA and other forensic evidence to confirm the identity of those killed in the attack.
Dhobley was reported as having fallen to Hassan al Turki a senior leader in the Islamic Courts and its predecessor al Itihaad al Islamiyah. Turki is running a military and terrorist training camp in Dhobley. There is no word if Turki was among those killed or if he was meeting with Nabhan during the strike.
‘Al Qaeda has used this region to spill over into other parts of eastern Africa,’ a US counterterrorism official told The Washington Times. ‘Somalia at a minimum is a place of refuge but for some of al Qaeda it is a place to plot and plan future attacks.’
Al Qaeda and the Islamic Courts operated at least 17 terror camps throughout Somalia prior to the downfall of the Islamic Courts in December 2006. The terror groups are attempting to re-establish their networks, as the Somali government is unable to assert its control throughout the country.
Nabhan is wanted by the FBI for questioning in connection with the 2002 attacks in Mombasa, Kenya against a hotel and an airliner. Nabhan targeted a hotel frequented by Israelis and an Israeli-chartered airplane in a near-simultaneous attack. Suicide bombers rammed a truck into the lobby of hotel visited by Israelis. Thirteen were killed and 80 wounded in the attack. At the same time as the hotel attack, al Qaeda launched two Strela surface-to-air missiles at an Arkia Airlines jet. The missiles missed their targets.
Nabhan is also wanted for involvement in the 1998 suicide attacks against US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. The attack in Nairobi, Kenya resulted in 212 killed and more than 4,000 wounded. The attack in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania resulted 11 killed and 85 wounded. Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, al Qaeda’s operations chief in East Africa, and Abu Taha al Sudani, the leader of al Qaeda’s network in East Africa were also behind the attacks.

Worshippers of Death

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

Worshippers of Death: “ALAN M. DERSHOWITZ The Wall Street Journal

Zahra Maladan is an educated woman who edits a women’s magazine in Lebanon. She is also a mother, who undoubtedly loves her son. She has ambitions for him, but they are different from those of most mothers in the West. She wants her son to become a suicide bomber. At the recent funeral for the assassinated Hezbollah terrorist Imad Moughnaya — the mass murderer responsible for killing 241 marines in 1983 and more than 100 women, children and men in Buenos Aires in 1992 and 1994 — Ms. Maladan was quoted in the New York Times giving the following warning to her son: ‘if you’re not going to follow the steps of the Islamic resistance martyrs, then I don’t want you.’

Update: I have been informed that I should not post the whole story. You can get to it through the link above.  I think it is a must read.

Not Fit to Wash His Feet: HOprah Watch – Oprah Disses John McCain: “

By Debbie Schlussel

While bragging to USA Today about her worldwide webcast class, in which HRHSBotU (Her Royal Highness, Supreme Being of the Universe) Oprah teaches a new age course to America’s women on how to be a better person and live a better life minus a billion dollars and a daily talk show, Queen Oprah dissed John McCain

Winfrey says she’s not sure yet whether she’ll have a role in the fall campaign. . . . What about John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee? ‘Oh, please,’ she replies. ‘Bye-bye.’

Im really sick of this–these queens of idiocy–first Gloria Steinem, now Oprah–dissing McCain. Please watch this five-minute video from A&E ‘Biography,’ showing John McCain from captivity. Oprah aint good enough to wash his feet:

What about Oprah Winfrey?

Oh, please. Bye-Bye. If only. If only she would go away.

Media to blame for Islamic misconceptions

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

The managing editor of one of the country’s biggest newspapers thinks news organizations ought to hire more Muslim reporters.

Philip Bennett, the Washington Post’s managing editor, said reporters often struggle with understanding Islam during a speech Monday at UCI about the difficulties of covering the religion.

Bennett’s speech focused on the media’s need to cover issues concerning Islam in an in-depth, long-term manner.

To illustrate this point he drew mainly from quotes of notable colleagues and statistical polls, rarely giving his own opinion directly.

‘Six of 10 Americans, according to a 2007 ABC Poll, don’t understand the basic tenets of Islam,’ Bennett said.

He attributed this to the lack of Muslims working in American newsrooms.

‘At the Post I want more Muslim readers and I want more Muslim journalists,’ he said.

Words poorly translated from Arabic to English are a big source of confusion caused by the lack of Muslim voices in the American media, according to Bennett.

Zeyad Maasarani, 22, a Muslim reporter for California’s most circulated Muslim publication, Southern California in Focus, agrees with Bennett that terms like ‘jihad,’ ‘madrasa’ and ‘hijab’ are a big source of the public’s misunderstanding of Islam.

‘Jihad means holy war, which is the definition that most Americans know, but it also means struggle, and valiant attempt,’ Maasarani said.

One such word that has been contentiously debated in newsrooms is ‘Islamist,’ which generally refers to a political movement governed by Islamic law. Bennett said at the Washington Post editors still have not decided whether to add it to their style book.

Some argue the word is a useful distinction for movements like Hamas and Hezbollah, but others at the Post argue that it is too vague and should be omitted in favor of a more specific description.

The root of mujahidin is J-H-D , meaning ‘fight against unbelievers’ (‘Jihad’ can mean to fight and ‘Mujahideen’ can mean fighter.) However, the particular verb stem of J-H-D from which both jihad and mujahid are derived means ‘to fight against’ or ‘wage war’. Mujahid is originally, therefore, ‘someone who fights’. The term has, even in Arabic, taken on meanings that are specifically religious, or specifically military or paramilitary, or both.

Bennett spent most of his time recalling an anecdote about a misunderstood Muslim group in Walkersville, Md., who were trying to purchase a large amount of land for a retreat.

The Ahmadiyya, an Islamic sect considered heretical through much of the Muslim world, did TV interviews, town hall meetings and even door-to-door interviews to try to convince the people of Walkersville that they meant well, according to Bennett, but the county zoning board ultimately denied permission to buy the land.

He cites cursorily researched articles in the local and national newspapers that neglected to figure out who the Ahmadiyya really were as a primary reason that their proposal was met with massive protests.

Bennett said that in the period following 9/11 there was a lot of uninformed writing about Islam, and that ‘the best journalism fought against the tide of public perception.’

Hamas placed children on rooftops as human shields preventing Israeli attack on Qassam workshops and warehouses

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

This is just sick. It shows the depravity of the terrorist.

Hamas placed children on rooftops as human shields preventing Israeli attack on Qassam workshops and warehousesDr. Aaron Lerner Date: 4 March 2008Yediot Ahronot correspondent Itamar Eichner reports in today’s edition that an officer in Israeli Military Intelligence revealed in a briefing by FM Livni to foreign ambassadors that “before the IDF attacks Qassam workshops or warehouses it distributes flyers asking the residents to evacuate the area. But Hamas exploits the flyers and places small children on the rooftops in order to foil the attacks. And thus because of this trick the IDF is forced to halt many such bombings at the last moment.””We are working with our hands tied because of all these laws and because we are part of the free world and because this is part of our values,” FM Livni said.

Hussein Absent At Afghanistan Strategy Hearings

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

Previous Obama stories

Hussein Absent At Afghanistan Strategy Hearings: “

The Hill:

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who has come under fire about his readiness to be commander-in-chief, missed two of three Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearings on Afghanistan since joining the panel.

Obama has said the U.S. should have stayed focused on fighting al Qaeda in Afghanistan while repeatedly criticizing his rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), and presumptive Republican nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) for their votes in favor of a resolution backing the Iraq war.

But since joining Foreign Relations, Obama has missed three meetings on a ‘new strategy’ in Afghanistan, a country he has never visited.

Obama was absent from a January 31 meeting this year, and also was not present for a hearing on Sept. 21, 2006. He did attend a March 8, 2007 hearing on a new Afghanistan strategy.

On Feb. 15, 2007, Obama also missed a committee hearing on U.S. ambassadors to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Clinton has ratcheted up her criticisms of the Illinois senator’s experience and readiness to be president in recent days, specifically targeting Obama’s foreign policy credentials. In their last debate before Tuesday’s critical primaries in Ohio and Texas, Clinton hit Obama for not holding any oversight hearings on Afghanistan on the European Affairs subcommittee, which Obama chairs.

McCain has also stepped up his attacks on the Democratic frontrunner, trying to paint him as weak on foreign policy.

Obama spokesman Bill Burton, who acknowledged Obama has never been to Afghanistan, said Obama’s missed meetings and the lack of a visit. to Afghanistan does not change the fact that Obama was right on Iraq. The Obama campaign has steadily criticized Clinton’s vote on Iraq, which it calls ‘one of the only major foreign policy decisions [Clinton] has ever faced in her career.’

Burton also said in an emailed response that these factors will not make Obama more vulnerable to Republican attacks if the Illinois senator is able to win the nomination.

‘Unlike John McCain, Barack Obama opposed a war in Iraq that diverted resources from Afghanistan, and introduced comprehensive legislation last January that would end the war in Iraq and called for more troops in Afghanistan,’ Burton said. ‘The American people understand that both John McCain and Barack Obama have missed Senate hearings and votes during their campaigns, and they are responding to Obama’s judgment, record, and plans for finishing the fight in Afghanistan.’

In his second trip overseas as a sitting senator, Obama was part of a congressional delegation that was scheduled to go to Afghanistan after visiting Iraq. Obama made the Iraq part of the trip but peeled off to visit Jordan and Israel instead of visiting Afghanistan, according to reports published at that time.

All three candidates have frequently been away from Washington to hit the campaign trail, particularly since late last year.
If Obama does win the Democratic nomination, McCain and the Republican party are liked to echo time and again the argument that Obama is too inexperienced to be commander in chief. The fact that he has never visited Afghanistan will likely serve as a point of attack for both Clinton and McCain.

Belgium: Terrorist suspect had Al-Qaeda links

Posted by avideditor on March 4, 2008

I think Al-Qaeda is alive and well due to our inaction.

Belgium: Terrorist suspect had Al-Qaeda links: “As more and more details are revealed about terrorist suspect Abdelkader Belliraj, the question is whether Belgian security forces were completely unaware of his terrorist and criminal activities.

In a recent interview his wife, who lives in Belgium, says that she was not connected to the murders he allegedly committed, since they were committed before they got married.  Now the question is whether she was also unaware of his al-Qaeda activities, which started after they were married for ten years.

Belgian-Moroccan terrorist Abdelkader Belliraj received his orders directly from al-Qaeda while he worked for the Belgian Intelligence Service as a registered informant, according to a high placed Belgian police source.

The source says that Belliraj travelled to Afghanistan in 2001.  ‘And in Afghanistan he visited Ayman al-Zawahiri, the number two of al-Qaeda and the accomplice of Osama bin Laden.  There he got specific instructions from Zawahiri.’  This is according to the Moroccan criminal investigation into the terror group led by Belliraj.

Last week it was revealed that Belliraj served as a registered and paid informant of the Belgian Intelligence Service since at least 2000.  Its almost certain that at the same time he worked for another foreign secret service, possibly the Frence DGSE or American CIA.

‘This is the biggest terrorism case that Belgium has ever known,’ says the high-place police agent about the dismantling of the Belliraj terror group.
