MAD Mutually Assured Destruction will not work with Iran

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

Winston from the Spirt of Man came grew up in Iran. I agree with his thoughts. The rullers of Iran are mad and need to be stopped.

MAD: “Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) will not scare the Mullahs of Iran, says prominent Mideast scholar Bernard Lewis:

‘But with these people in Iran, mutually assured destruction is not a deterrent factor, but rather an inducement,’ Lewis said. ‘They feel that they can hasten the final messianic process. This is an extremely dangerous situation of which it is important to be aware.’

Very well said. The clerical establishment of Iran welcomes death and has no mercy for its own people.”

Study: 3 out of every 4 U.S. mosques preach anti-West extremism

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

Is it time now to be worried. Why does our government allow this? I think this is past the point of free speech.

Study: 3 out of every 4 U.S. mosques preach anti-West extremism: “‘Secret survey exposes widespread radicalism’- reported in WorldNetDaily, February 23

‘An undercover survey of more than 100 mosques and Islamic schools in America has exposed widespread radicalism, including the alarming finding that 3 in 4 Islamic centers are hotbeds of anti-Western extremism, WND has learned.

The Mapping Sharia in America Project, sponsored by the Washington-based Center for Security Policy, has trained former counterintelligence and counterterrorism agents from the FBI, CIA and U.S. military, who are skilled in Arabic and Urdu, to conduct undercover reconnaissance at some 2,300 mosques and Islamic centers and schools across the country.

‘So far of 100 mapped, 75 should be on a watchlist,’ an official familiar with the project said.
Many of the Islamic centers are operating under the auspices of the Saudi Arabian government and U.S. front groups for the radical Muslim Brotherhood based in Egypt.

Frank Gaffney, a former Pentagon official who runs the Center for Security Policy, says the results of the survey have not yet been published. But he confirmed that ‘the vast majority’ are inciting insurrection and jihad through sermons by Saudi-trained imams and anti-Western literature, videos and textbooks.’ Please read it all.

Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer comments: ‘It isn’t as if we haven’t seen this coming. For years now I have pointed out the shallowness and flimsiness of condemnations of terror by American Islamic groups, and noted that American mosques and schools have no programs to teach against the jihad ideology and Islamic supremacism, as one might have expected them to institute after 9/11 if they really stood where they claimed they stood.

And in 1999, the Naqshbandi Sufi Sheikh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani testified before a State Department open forum that eighty percent of American mosques had extremist leadership. And then there was the January 2005 report from the Center for Religious Freedom, ‘Saudi publications on Hate Ideology Fill American Mosques’ (pdf here).

Graffiti alert!

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

Ezera Makes an excellent point on how the Canadian Jewish community is not addressing the more important issues. What do you think?

Graffiti alert!: “When Warren Kinsella quit the National Post a few weeks ago (though, to be accurate, they were only printing him once a month by that point), he announced that the universe had balanced itself out, in that he had joined the Canadian Jewish Congress’s legal committee. Having sat on my share of Jewish community volunteer committees over the years — including one with Kinsella himself — I can testify that they’re not really the same thing as a paying column in a national newspaper. If there are 350,000 Jews in Canada, I’d estimate that there are about 350,000 volunteer positions to be filled. But I underestimated Kinsella’s impact. Today, the CJC has put out an urgent news release: somewhere in Toronto, a school desk was found to have some anti-Semitic graffiti scribbled on it. If finding a swastika scrawled on a bathroom wall was cause for an Orange Alert, this graffiti — on a desk, people, a desk! — is War Measures Act material. It’s embarrassing to see a once-great institution like the CJC be reduced to issuing red alerts over kids’ graffiti. I’m not in favour of anti-Semitic graffiti, especially on Toronto campuses. That’s vandalism, and it’s also downright rude. But it says something about the CJC that while they’re awfully brave at tackling anonymous graffiti, they dont dare criticize, say, the annual Israel Apartheid Week Jew-bashing festival on Toronto campuses. That would mean butting heads with their more, uh, spirited friends. The ‘hate’ problem in Canada isn’t anonymous swastikas being secretly scrawled by rebellious kids, who likely don’t even know what they’re doing, other than it seems to annoy the grown-ups a lot. The ‘hate’ problem in Canada is a growing body of Canadians who are importing alien values of violence and censorship to support their broader goals of jihad. According to a CBC poll, fully 12% of Canadian Muslims surveyed felt that the 2006 jihadist plot to murder the Prime Minister and bomb Toronto buildings was ‘justified’. That’s tens of thousands of people who haven’t assimilated our western, liberal values.A Canadian Jewish Congress that lived up to its name would give a damn about that. Instead, we’ve got ourselves a very expensive graffiti patrol. Oy vay.  “(Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)

Al Qaeda Orders Assassination Of Geert Wilders

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

You must do something right to get an Al Qaeda  death threat. I can’t wait to see his movie. I hope he stays safer than Vango.  I hope this will wake some of the Europeans up to the threat of Radical Islam but I am not holding my breath. Al Qaeda Orders Assassination Of Geert Wilders: “1The terrorist network Al-Qaeda has given orders for the assassination of MP Geert Wilders, newspaper De Telegraaf reports. The Party for Freedom (PVV) leader must be ’slaughtered’, the orders say, because he has insulted Islam and the prophet Mohammed. The newspaper based its report on a recent message on a protected web forum of internet site al-ekhlaas.net, which De Telegraaf claims is affiliated with Al-Qaeda. The internet threat, which was posted on 28 January, was intercepted by the American research institute SITE Intelligence Group, the newspaper reports.‘In the name of Allah, we ask you to bring us the neck of this unbeliever who insults Islam and the Muslims and ridicules the prophet Mohammed,’ the site says about Wilders, according to the newspaper. The message honours Mohammed Bouyeri as a hero. This Amsterdam-born Moroccan Muslim cut Islam-critic Theo van Gogh’s throat on 2 November 2004. The message also appeals for readers to ‘terrorise’ the Netherlands to prevent Wilders’ controversial film on the Koran from being broadcast.Wilders says his film is finished, and only still needs to be edited. He will try to show the film via an official broadcaster. He expects the negotiations to last between several days and several weeks.Wilders has set up a separate website where his Koran film will be shown in any event. The host of this site, http://www.fitnathemovie.com, is located in the United States. Wilders also plans to put the film on the YouTube website. The film takes place within the Koran, Wilders earlier explained, with the book opening and showing the viewer images of atrocities allegedly inspired by the verses. It lasts about 15 minutes and ends with a picture of the prophet Mohammed, to which ‘something happens’, he added.(NIS)”(Via Pat Dollard | Young Americans.)

Where’s The Bullet?

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

Can we take care of our modern day Hitler already before it is to late? Konservo brings up a great point in his blog. If you are looking for another blog to follow check out Konservo’s blog. It is one of the best.Where’s The Bullet?: “

Dinnerjacket has announced that the Islamic Islamofascist Republic of Iran is now the top super-power in the world:

TEHRAN (AFP) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared on Thursday that Iran was the world’s ‘number one’ power, as he launched a bitter new assault on domestic critics he accused of siding with the enemy.

What?Number one… are you sure?

See, you can’t trust this guy…

‘Today the name of Iran means a firm punch in the teeth of the powerful and it puts them in their place,’ added Ahmadinejad, who on Sunday will become the first president of the Islamic republic to visit neighbouring Iraq.

Hey, Ahmadinejad… it’s cool that you’re number one and all, but uh… perhaps someone should mark you as such with a bullet. If you know what I mean.

Dhimmi Dutch officials subject Wilders to “an hour of intimidation”

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

I am very proud of Wilders. I am working on my own documentary. It is too bad he is being attacked on both sides. Commies to the left of me, Islamofasicst to the right. Yikes.

Dhimmi Dutch officials subject Wilders to “an hour of intimidation”: “Quaking dhimmi Dutch call Qur’an critic on the carpet, as if he is responsible for any irrationality and violence with which Muslims may greet his film.’Wilders accuses ministers of intimidation,’ from Expatica (thanks to Dave):

THE HAGUE – Freedom Party PVV leader Geert Wilders is furious about a talk ministers Ernst Hirsch Ballin (justice) and Maxime Verhagen (foreign affairs) held with him on Wednesday afternoon regarding his film on the Koran.’It was an hour of intimidation,’ Wilders said after the talk. The politician did not want to disclose what had been said. A spokesperson for the justice ministry confirmed that a talk had taken place after reports about it on NOS Journaal. The spokesperson would only say it was a continuation of a talk held in November last year when the government expressed its concerns about the consequences the film could have in the Netherlands and abroad.Sources in The Hague say Hirsch Ballin, who called the meeting, has now also pointed out to Wilders that there could be legal consequences for Wilders if the film contains elements that could be considered hate inciting or blasphemous….

If Europe and the U.S. were standing for free speech, that would not be a consideration.”(Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)

HUH?: Prominent Imam Pleads to Visa Fraud, But Gets to Stay in U.S.??!! (& Zero Jail Time)

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

I really hope he gave the FBI some good information. I hope he did. Otherwise the US government is totally loosing it.

HUH?: Prominent Imam Pleads to Visa Fraud, But Gets to Stay in U.S.??!! (& Zero Jail Time): “

By Debbie Schlussel

So, let me get this straight:

The head of one of Boston’s biggest mosques in Boston is convicted of visa fraud. He lied to American immigration officials–five counts of lying. But, he won’t serve a day in jail. And the U.S. might not deport him. HUH?!

Call it, ‘Nada Nadim Prouty, the Sequel’ or ‘America: Desperate But Not Serious’:

A local imam plans to plead guilty to visa fraud charges in a plea deal with federal prosecutors that would give him probation.

Muhammad Masood, a citizen of Pakistan, is the former spiritual leader of the Islamic Center of New England’s Sharon mosque. His lawyer says Masood is expected to plead guilty today to five charges of making false statements to immigration officials.

A joint recommendation from Masood’s attorney and prosecutors calls for him to receive three years of probation, but it is unclear whether Masood’s guilty plea will result in his deportation.

The arrest of Masood and another local imam on visa fraud charges in November 2006 prompted an outcry from the Muslim community.

Hmmm . . . is your community has a loud enough ‘outcry,’ anything is possible. What a country.

Thanks to reader Chip for sending this absurdity.

**** More on this phony Masood. He overstayed a student visa since 1991. To apply for any new visa, he was required to return to Pakistan for two years before re-entry and/or re-application for a new visa into the country. But instead, he stayed here and then lied to ICE officials, telling them that he returned to Pakistan and then was ushered back into the U.S. by ‘men in black’ who bypassed Customs. Riiight:

In a 2003 immigration interview for a religious-worker visa, Imam Masood explained his re-entry with an account that some who have read the affidavit have dubbed the ‘men in black’ story, a reference to the shadowy agents who show up in pop-culture conspiracy theories.

Imam Masood told immigration agents that two men he didn’t know helped him onto his 1993 flight from Islamabad – after they took his passport – and that two white Americans in business suits with no badges met him at the baggage claim at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. He said that duo ‘appeared to know the immigration officers’ and escorted him through an unmarked door so he didn’t have to go through customs.

The imam acknowledged that he had no proof of his account. According to the affidavit, there are no State Department or Customs records of any departure or return after 1990.

Instead of leaving the U.S., according to the criminal affidavit, Imam Masood filed for a leave of absence from BU and worked as a security guard and parking-garage attendant, among other jobs. He also got a couple of traffic tickets.

He continued to live in BU graduate housing with his wife, Rehana, and their children, and he re-enrolled at BU in 1992, bought a car and was with his wife at the hospital when their youngest child was born, the affidavit says.

Some longtime Islamic Center members say Imam Masood was active with campus Muslim groups and Boston-area mosques through the mid-1990s, while his wife worked part-time. (According to the government affidavit, he also claimed to be imam at the Worcester mosque from 1993 to 1997.)

Terminated at BU in 1995 for a lack of academic work, he kept a campus apartment by claiming that he was enrolled. According to the affidavit, the family was still living in BU’s Warren Hall when the Islamic Center hired him as a religious-school teacher in 1996. (Imam Masood eventually resumed his studies and got a master’s degree from BU in 2005.)

That this criminal and liar gets to stay here is nauseating. Well, when you are a prominent Muslim religious leader, all bets are off.

Guh-reat job, U.S. Government. Any other plea deals we need to know about? Sadly, there are so many like this.

Video: Rove Busts Hussein On Past Support Of Iraq War

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

I saw Karl Rove speak on Monday. He was very impressive. He is genius. B Hussein O’bama doesn’t know what is coming for him.

Video: Rove Busts Hussein On Past Support Of Iraq War: “What’s most important about this, and from what Rove has to say it is appears that this is a story that is going to be breaking much bigger in the days ahead, is that Obama has said that he has ALWAYS been against the war. Catching him in this lie is not important as a ‘gotcha’ moment, but important in that it cuts to the truth about Obama, who is riding on a wave of being the Ethics Who Shall Bring Change. But it shows he just another poltician without any policies who will say whatever, whenever, to get elected.” (Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)

Islams Spread in America

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

With 3/4 of the mosques here preaching terror I am scarred by this trend. But at the same time it may show how even the muslims do not want to live under the oppressive muslim regimes. I do not mind diversity as long as they do not attempt to impose sharia or attack the innocent. Islam’s recent track record scares me and gives reason for concern.

Islam's Spread in America: “With a hat-tip to Sounder, who left this link to ‘The Rise of Islam in America’ in a comment at Foehammer’s Anvil:

Excerpt from the text at the above link:

There are between 6 and 7 million Muslims in America today. In other words, Muslims outnumber some Christian denominations and are equal to the number of Jews. Research done in the year 2000 by prominent American universities and Islamic foundations show that the number of Muslims is increasing rapidly and that Islam is growing stronger day by day.

The above graphic representation shows the rising numbers of mosques in America.
The main theme of this research, known as the Mosque Study Project, is the establishment of mosques in America. The reason for this is that mosques occupy a very special place in any statistical compilations done with regard to the American Muslim community. Mosques in America are both houses of worship and gathering places for talking with one another and launching cultural activities to make Islam more widely known. Every mosque establishes a relationship with the press to introduce Islam to a wider audience, speaks with local politicians, visits schools and churches, engages in interfaith dialogue and carries on other such activities. Thus, research done on these mosques is one of the most useful tools for gathering accurate and enlightening information on this community’s state.

According to this research, America now has about 1,209 mosques, most of which were constructed very recently. Thirty percent of these mosques were built in the 1990s, and 32% were built in the 1980s. Other statistics show that in 1994, the total number of mosques in America was 962; in 2000, there was a 25% increase in this number.

These data show a natural parallel with the growing number of Muslims. For example, according to determinations made in 1994, the number of Muslims attending mosque services was 500,000; in 2000, this figure had increased to 2 million-an approximately 300% increase. A significant part of this number is composed of people who converted to Islam. The same research shows that about 30% of those worshippers are converts. According to these data, about 20,000 Americans accept Islam every year….

Islam wins through Terror and Jihad

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

I think it is more Radical Islam but I could be wrong.

Islam wins through Terror and Jihad: “

It is astounding to see how, whereas most Muslims claim to practice ‘a peaceful religion’ – as even President George W. Bush affirmed concerning Islam – and even as they continually praise their Allah as ‘the merciful one,’ that they nevertheless win their battles and subjugate people the world over by terror and jihad.

Mohammed himself, in his short lifetime, fought more than 50 wars to spread the teachings of ISLAM. Across the planet today Muslims are killing, threatening and terrorizing nation after nation and, where deemed necessary, political leaders, journalists or others who dare to stand in their way, even while their spokesmen cleverly and misleadingly tell the world that Islam is a religion of peace.

Sure it is!

Looking at a map of today’s world we see Muslims terrorizing and massacring hundreds of thousands of south Sudanese – many of them peace-loving Christians – terrorizing and killing in many parts of the Philippines, Indonesia, India and in other regions. In fact the majority of recent wars has been initiated or fought by Muslims, in Lebanon, Syria, in Somalia, Afghanistan, and most recently in Kenya.

Israel prepares world opinion for assault on Gaza

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

I think it is a sad state of affairs when Israel needs to prepare the world opinion instead of just defending itself.Israel prepares world opinion for assault on Gaza: “Herb Keinon , THE JERUSALEM POSTFeb. 28, 2008As Hamas drew Ashkelon into the circle of communities coming under heavy rocket attacks, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and the Foreign Ministry on Thursday began preparing both Israeli and world opinion for the possibility of a large-scale incursion into Gaza.Barak, during a series of meetings at the Defense Ministry, said, ‘We should be prepared for an upswing in hostilities in Gaza. The big ground operation is a reality and it is tangible. We are not eager to embark upon such an operation, but we are not put off by it either.’ According to defense sources, the goals of such an operation – reportedly in the planning stages for weeks if not months – would not ‘merely’ be to reduce the threat of rocket fire and rocket manufacturing in the Gaza Strip, but would also likely entail paralyzing the Hamas government’s ability to operate, and even include ‘regime change.’Barak spoke with Quartet envoy Tony Blair and Egyptian intelligence head Omar Suleiman and said Israel could not tolerate the current level of rocket fire in the South without offering a wider response.Barak also offered hints as to his plans, telling local community leaders gathered at Sapir Academic College outside Sderot that ‘the solution to Kassams will be a lot quicker than many people think.’And the Foreign Ministry, in talking points sent to its representatives abroad, instructed them to say that when Israel left the Gaza Strip in 2005 it did so without the intention of ever returning, but that the continuation of terrorist attacks was likely to place the country in a position where it may have no other choice. The ministry also instructed its representatives to reveal that the Grad missiles that were fired at Ashkelon on Thursday were smuggled through Sinai from Iran.According to one diplomatic source, stressing the Iranian origin of the missiles showed the importance of aggressive action to stop the smuggling and isolate Hamas from Syria and Iran, which ‘directs the organization’s terrorist actions.”We have warned for a while about the arming of Hamas, and what is happening now is proof of this,’ the official said.Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni also seemed to be preparing the world for stepped up Israeli action, telling visiting Lithuanian Foreign Minister Petras Vaitiekunas that the international community should ‘respect’ all actions that Israel takes to protects its citizens.Livni said Israel rejected condemnations and arguments that there were casualties on both sides of the fence, saying ‘there is no moral equivalence between terrorists and those fighting them, even if during those actions innocent civilians are accidentally killed. In these cases the world should not come to us – there is only one address for the Palestinian situation in Gaza and for what is likely to happen there in the future – and it is Hamas.’Foreign Minister director-general Aaron Abramovich traveled to Cairo on Thursday for talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit about the situation on the Egyptian-Gaza border.Government officials said that while Abramovich wanted to concentrate on how to combat the arms smuggling across and under the Philadelphi Corridor, Gheit was more interested in talking about how to get the Rafah crossing re-opened. The talks came in preparation for a high level discussion on the situation on the border excepted early next week with the arrival on Tuesday of both US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Suleiman. In light of the recent tension with Egypt over the situation on the border, the Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying the Israeli delegation ‘stressed the strategic importance of the relationship between Israel and Egypt, in enhancing and addressing challenges to peace in the region and promoting peaceful coexistence.’In a related development, government officials said Israel was not getting ‘too excited’ over an interview Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas gave to a Jordanian newspaper that appeared Thursday saying he did not rule out returning to the path of armed ‘resistance’ against Israel. The official said these comments were aimed at Abbas’s domestic audience and that Abbas should be judged by his deeds – a willingness to negotiate peace – rather than by statements ‘meant for internal consumption. In an interview with Al-Dustur, Abbas also took pride that he had been the first to fire a bullet on Israel in 1965 and that his organization, Fatah, had trained Hizbullah. ‘At this present juncture, I am opposed to armed struggle because we cannot succeed in it, but maybe in the future things will be different,’ he said.Rebecca Anna Stoil contributed to this report.”(Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)

Liveblogging the Gaza War – February 28th

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

Check out this great live blog of the Gaza war from Israel

Liveblogging the Conflict – February 28th: “

israeli-hurt.jpgThis morning, the IAF killed another 5 terrorists – 2 from the Popular Resistance Committee, one from Hamas, one from the Abu Mustafa Brigades, and one from Fatah’s al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades. The palestinians certainly have no shortage of terrorist groups.Meanwhile, the terrorists have continued with their targeting of innocent civilians, firing a number of Qassams into Israel, with one wounding an officer belonging to Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter’s protection detail.I will attempt to keep you updated during the day.Updates (Israel time)11:16AM: Ha’aretz reports we turned 7 (not 5) terrorists into worm food. The more, the better.11:48AM: Pay special attention to this, folks:

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Thursday that while he opposes taking up armed struggle against Israel at the present time, he would not rule out the option for the future.‘I do not support a return to armed struggle at this point in time. But, at a later date, this could be an option for the Palestinian people,’ Abbas said on Thursday during an interview with the Jordanian newspaper Al-Duster.

Of course, this is not entirely true: he does support ‘armed struggle at this point in time’, considering that Fatah’s very own Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades are constantly perpetrating terrorist attacks.12:53PM: Students from Sderot’s Sapir College have lit memorial candles for yesterday’s victim, father-of-four Roni Yechiya. What’s the bet Reuters, AP and AFP do not publish these candle pictures?2:27PM: A 70-year old woman has suffered light shrapnel injuries after a Qassam hit Sderot. Remember, the palestinians are trying to kill people like her.3:10PM: 3 Qassams have been fired at Ashkelon, with one scoring a direct hit on a house and several people suffering from shock.3:47PM: It turns out they were 5 Grad-type missiles that hit Ashkelon.4:00PM: The IDF has stated that Hamas will have an unlimited supply of rockets targeting Ashkelon by the end of the year.4:05PM: Something else likely not to be reported by the MSM:

The funeral procession for Roni Yechiya, a 47-year-old father of four killed in a Qassam attack in Sderot on Wednesday, has gotten underway in the community of Bitcha near Ofakim.During the procession, Yechiyah’s wife screamed out: ‘Roni, you left me at such a young age, how will I manage without you? I love you.’

4:13PM: We have reportedly wounded 3 more Hamas terrorists.

Berlin gallery shuts down after Muslim threats

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

It is a scary world where people can no longer show art in fear of crazy jihadis.

Berlin gallery shuts down after Muslim threats: “From Reuters:

A Berlin gallery has temporarily closed an exhibition of satirical works by a group of Danish artists after six Muslim youths threatened violence unless one of the posters depicting the Kaaba shrine in Mecca was removed, it said on Thursday. The Galerie Nord in central Berlin said it had closed its ‘Zionist Occupied Government’ show of works by Surrend, a group of artists who say they poke fun at powerful people and ideological conflicts. On Tuesday, four days after the exhibition opened, a group of angry Muslims stormed into the gallery, shouting demands that one of the 21 posters should be removed, said the gallery. They were very aggressive and shouted at an employee that the poster should be taken down otherwise they would throw stones and use violence,’ the gallery’s artistic director Ralf Hartmann told Reuters. The Muslims objected to a depiction of the Kaaba — the ancient shrine in Mecca’s Grand Mosque which Muslims face to say their prayers — which gave a ‘bitingly satirical commentary against radicalism,’ said the gallery in a statement. Hartmann said the gallery was working with German authorities to improve security and he hoped to re-open the show as soon as possible. ‘It would be unacceptable if individual social groups were in a position to exercise censorship over art and the freedom of expression,’ said the gallery in a statement. The show also contained pictures which ridiculed neo-Nazis who believe Jews dominate global politics and industry as well as the state of Israel and radical Jews.Surrend members are mainly street artists and use stickers, advertisements, posters and Web sites to express irony.

Surrend might make fun of everyone, but only one group threatens them for it.Surrend once bought an ad in the Tehran Times that pretended to be pro-Ahmadinejad but actually called him a ‘swine’ in the first letter of each bullet point:Surrend’s webpage is here.

Far-right Dutch MP Geert Wilders has said that this week he will finish a film about Islam which has already triggered Muslim outrage.Mr Wilders said he was determined to release the film despite government warnings that this would damage Dutch political and economic interests.

Militant Muslims are expected to protest the film, which will likely depict them as violent, bloodthirsty savages, by behaving like violent, bloodthirsty savages. Thanks to author Brad Thor, who has been following the story in his reader forum.”(Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)

Barack Obama Is A Citizen Of Kenya

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

This is an interesting article I found about Obama. Also check out my previous post or the LGF post on Obama flip flopping. I kind of hope he wins the dem nomination because I think he might be easier for McCain to beat that Hillary.

Barack Obama Is A Citizen Of Kenya: “And that’s according to Kenyan law.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF BLOCKBUSTER CHICAGO NEWS CONFERENCE DISCLOSING THAT UNDER KENYAN CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, BARACK OBAMA IS A KENYAN CITIZEN:(CHICAGO)(February 8, 2007) Chicago-based Internet journalist, broadcaster and critic Andy Martin will hold a news conference Friday, February 9th at 11:00 A.M. to announce that U. S. Senator Barack Obama is a citizen of Kenya and became a citizen of Kenya under the Independence Constitution of Kenya in 1963. Obama has never renounced his Kenyan citizenship. He is also a U. S. Citizen.

‘Under the Independence Constitution of Kenya, Obama became a Kenyan citizen on December 12, 1963. He has never renounced his Kenyan citizenship. On his senate web site, Obama tap dances around his own dual nationality when discussing his father. Obama obviously knows, because his father told him, that he also held/holds Kenyan nationality.

‘Friday we will blow Obama out of the water with disclosure of his lifelong deceit and concealment. Obama’s attempts to portray his father as an ignorant ‘goat herd,’ moreover, were part of his attempts at ‘identity theft’ against his own father, designed to create an imaginary picture of Barack Sr. It is inconceivable that Obama’s father was ignorant of Kenyan law, since he served as a government official and held a Ph.D. from Harvard. And it is inconceivable that Obama Sr. never told his son that he was a Kenyan national. Why has ‘junior’ hidden this information for decades?’ Martin will demand Friday.‘The American people, when deciding who to support for president, have a right to know if their ‘president’ is also a citizen of Kenya and owes dual loyalty to Kenya because he has never renounced his Kenyan citizenship.

Eurabian Court bans deportation of jihad terror suspect

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

Eurabian Court bans deportation of jihad terror suspect: “He would be tortured back home, see. ‘Ministers argued the right of the public to be protected against terrorism should be balanced against a suspect’s rights not to be ill-treated,’ but to no avail.’Court bans deportation of terror suspect,’ by Clare Dyer for the Guardian (thanks to Davida):

Government hopes of deporting dozens of terror suspects to their home countries suffered a serious setback today with the European court of human rights ruling against one such attempt. The grand chamber of 17 judges at the Strasbourg court ruled unanimously that an attempt by Italy to send a man back to Tunisia violated the ban on torture or inhuman or degrading treatment in the European convention on human rights. The case was brought by Nassim Saadi against Italy. The British government intervened in the hope the court would sanction the return of suspects regardless of their home country’s human rights record.Ministers argued the right of the public to be protected against terrorism should be balanced against a suspect’s rights not to be ill-treated.The court ruled that protection against torture is absolute and Saadi cannot be sent back, even though he has been convicted of terror-related offences in both Tunisia and Italy….

UN envoy calls Qassams “terrorism”; Abbas proud of Fatah terror

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

UN envoy calls Qassams “terrorism”; Abbas proud of Fatah terror: “Yesterday, UN envoy Robert Serry gave a report to the UN Security Council. As can be expected, most of the report was more of the same – blaming Israel for how it is dealing with Gaza, blaming settlements for creating a humanitarian crisis (not quite sure how that works), claiming that Israel has not removed any outposts (um, remember Amona? Neve Daniel North? Tapuach West?) and similar naive statements. As usual, he has no real idea about what Israel should do, only what it should not do:

A different and more positive strategy for Gaza was a humanitarian, security and strategic imperative, for Israel, Egypt and the Palestinian Authority.

Any idea what this strategy should be? Well, nothing that can possibly involve the remotest possibility of hurting civilians, of course, so possibly he is calling for Israel to move from ‘condemning’ Qassam attacks into ‘deploring’ them. Perhaps providing them with more potassium nitrate so they can fertilize their crops.Buried in his speech, however, is something that I have never seen the UN say before:

His visit to Sderot, which had been the target of over 4,300 rockets since 2004, had brought out the physical and psychological damage to the population. Those crude rockets were aimed at hurting civilians and clearly constituted terrorism. Their continued firing was completely unacceptable and must be halted unconditionally.

The ‘T word’ is hardly used even in the Western media to describe Qassams, with sickening words like ‘resistance’ used far more often. The fact that the reliably anti-Israel UN classifies rocket attacks as terrorism needs to be publicized and the Arab terrorists and their friends need to be forced to respond, so that the world can see their sickening ‘logic’ for what it is.I, for one, would love to see if Mahmoud Abbas would agree with that characterization – unlikely given his statements yesterday:

I had the honor of firing the first shot in 1965 and of being the one who taught resistance to many in the region and around the world; what it’s like; when it is effective and when it isn’t effective; its uses, and what serious, authentic and influential resistance is,’ Abbas said. ‘It is common knowledge when and how resistance is detrimental and when it is well timed,’ he addad. ‘We (Fatah) had the honor of leading the resistance and we taught resistance to everyone, including Hizbullah, who trained in our military camps.’

Let’s ask Abbas what his distinction is between effective terrorism and ineffective terrorism, whether he has any moral rather than tactical problems with suicide bombings, and whether he is still proud over the early PLO airplane hijackings and mass murders. This is what reporters should be doing.

“60 Minutes” Too!!… MAJOR SCANDAL Brewing Over Rove Hit Piece!

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

“60 Minutes” Too!!… MAJOR SCANDAL Brewing Over Rove Hit Piece!: “Alabama GOP Asks For Proof on Karl Rove Hit Piece…Or, demands that the network retract the story!Did CBS learn nothing from their last major scandal? The chairman of the Alabama Republican Party sent a letter to ’60 Minutes’ producers asking for a retraction unless they could provide evidence backing up a segment on former Gov. Don Siegelman’s prosecution- Birmingham News. This letter to ’60 Minutes’ was posted today at Blogs For Victory.Via LGF Quick Links:

Dear Mr. Pelley,Last Sunday, you aired a piece on ’60 Minutes’ that I consider a broad, frontal and unfair attack on our Republican president, his one-time top advisor, Alabama’s Republican Governor and our party, in general. The report included an interview with a small town attorney, Dana Jill Simpson, who outrageously claimed that Karl Rove asked her to take explicit photos of Don Siegelman having improper extra-marital relations with ‘an aide’ in 2001. Her interview with ’60 Minutes’ was the first time her newest charge appeared, despite her having testified for several hours before a committee of the U.S. Congress, and was the first time she claimed having met with Mr. Rove. Most importantly, neither Dana Jill Simpson, nor your story or your network provided one shred of evidence that her charges had any merit or kernel of truth. In contrast, the Wednesday, February 27, edition of the Birmingham News printed an interview with Mr. Rove in which he vehemently denies Simpson’s charges and expresses deep frustration in ’60 Minutes’ failure to obtain evidence of any relationship between them before airing such an explosive story. He further denies knowing Simpson, meeting or speaking with her or even having knowledge of the Siegelman prosecution beyond what he learned from traditional media coverage…Given the serious nature of the charges, and the fact that 60 Minutes’ reputation as a reliable news source is once again at stake, I am asking that you publicly produce any evidence that was provided to you which substantiates Simpson’s claims…** If you are unable to publicly produce hard and convincing evidence that backs the outrageous charges you aired to millions of viewers across the nation, I ask that you publicly retract the story on your next broadcast. The most basic journalistic ethics would demand as much.I find it difficult to believe that Karl Rove, in his first year of White House service in 2001 and dealing with the aftereffects of September 11, could find time to concentrate his attention on an Alabama governor’s race more than one year away. Even more difficult to believe is that Rove knew Simpson, would meet with her or send her on the absurd assignments that she claims. Only the most committed anti-Rove/Bush activist could swallow such a tale.’60 Minutes’ disdain for the Republican Party brought you embarrassment when you ran a bogus and fraudulent story in the fall of 2004 about President Bush and his National Guard record, and your organization ultimately admitted to not having followed ‘basic journalistic principles’. I fear that unless you are able to provide the hard evidence requested, it is apparent that 60 Minutes did not learn anything from that embarrassing event in your history.I eagerly await your reply.Sincerely,Rep. Mike HubbardChairman, Alabama Republican Party

Hold on.This ought to get good!Where is Lucy Ramirez when you need her?”(Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)

Brace yourself: Dutch Islam film “nearly ready”

Posted by avideditor on February 28, 2008

Brace yourself: Dutch Islam film “nearly ready”: “The film has been condemned in advance, sight unseen. Just for a moment of clarity, think back to the riots that greeted the work of the nineteenth-century European Biblical higher critics, or the Jesus Seminar, or the many skeptical/critical examinations of the Bible. What riots? Exactly. And ask yourself: if someone reacts to something I say by going mad, breaking things, and targeting innocent people, is that my responsibility or his? When you are insulted, do you consider it a license to destroy things and hurt people, or do you consider it incumbent upon yourself to exercise some self-control?’Dutch Islam film ‘nearly ready,” from the BBC (thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist):

Far-right Dutch MP Geert Wilders has said that this week he will finish a film about Islam which has already triggered Muslim outrage.Mr Wilders said he was determined to release the film despite government warnings that this would damage Dutch political and economic interests.

Good for him. What they’re saying here is, ‘People will react to this with violent irrationality. Therefore you must kowtow to them.’

Mr Wilders says the film is about the Koran, without giving details. In the past, he has called for the Koran to be banned and likened it to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf. The project has already been condemned by several Muslim countries, including Iran and Pakistan.’Death threats”It is very good news. the film will definitely be finished this week, that is to say before 1 March,’ Mr Wilders told Reuters.

Well, that makes it today or tomorrow. Watch for updates.”(Via avideditorla’s shared items in Google Reader.)
