Off the top of our heads, we’d say there hasn’t been an American President with facial hair since, who, maybe Teddy Roosevelt? Well, former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton is considering running for President.

Russian Television gave him an 18-minute sit-down interview, which is about 15 more minutes than all the American networks combined have given him.

Unlike Katie Couric, Russian television asked him tough questions. And he gave honest answers. How honest? He said on Russian television that Russia is a threat to the United Sates.

America’s worst president strikes again…

It’s a known fact that Jimmy Carter is not a fan of Israel but to release this kind of information is very troubling- even for a Democrat.
The Times Online reported:

Israel has 150 nuclear weapons in its arsenal, former President Jimmy Carter said yesterday, while arguing that the US should talk directly to Iran to persuade it to drop its nuclear ambitions. 

His remark, made at the Hay-on-Wye festival which promotes current affairs books and literature, is startling because Israel has never admitted having nuclear weapons, let alone how many, although the world assumes their existence. Nor do US officials deviate in public from that Israeli line. Carter, who has immersed himself since his presidency in Israeli-Palestinian relations, was highly critical of Israeli settlers on the West Bank, and of Israel’s refusal to talk to elected officials of the Islamic party Hamas, although he said that Israel’s security was his prime concern.

Let’s hope this man is not privy to any more national secrets.

Republican Sen. John McCain refused Wednesday to rule out a pre-emptive war against another country, although he said one would be very unlikely.

The likely Republican presidential nominee was asked Wednesday at a town-hall style meeting if he would reject “the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive war,” a reference to Bush’s decision to invade Iraq without it having attacked the United States.

“I don’t think you could make a blanket statement about pre-emptive war, because obviously, it depends on the threat that the United States of America faces,” McCain told his audience at Bridgewater Associates Inc., a global investment firm.

“If someone is about to launch a weapon that would devastate America, or have the capability to do so, obviously, you would have to act immediately in defense of this nation’s national security interests.” McCain said he would consult more closely and more carefully “not with every member of Congress, but certainly the leaders of Congress.”
