On November 7, 1975, the United Nations endowed the PLO with observer status in the General Assembly. Three days later, the Assembly adopted Resolution 3379 which states that “Zionism is Racism.” A profound and deadly irony underlies these resolutions.

When Oriana Fallaci questioned Yasser Arafat about whether he was seeking peace, he replied: “We don’t want peace, we want victory. Peace for us means Israel’s destruction and nothing else…. We shall fight on to victory. Even for decades, for generations, if necessary.” This accords with the jihadi ethos – and Islam has the largest bloc of states in the UN.
As Bernard Lewis points out, there is no bloc of Christian or Buddhist states that meets and decides on a common course of action at the UN. In contrast, “Some fifty-five Muslim governments, including monarchies and republics, conservatives and revolutionaries, practitioners of capitalism and disciples of various kinds of socialism, friends and enemies of the United States, and exponents of a whole spectrum of shades of neutrality, have built up an elaborate apparatus of international consultation and even, on some occasions, of cooperation. They hold regular high-level conferences, and, despite differences of structure, ideology, and policy, [they] have achieved a significant measure of agreement and common action.”
Given the power of the Islamic bloc in the UN and Islam’s worldwide network of mosques preaching jihad and hatred of the Western civilization in general, and of America and Israel in particular, it is not only absurd and comic, but also self-demeaning and self-destructive for the US and Israel to remain in the UN.
In 1975, Senator Patrick Moynihan, US Ambassador to the United Nations, argued that the US should remain in opposition to the UN. In contrast, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said the UN was not worth saving and that the US should “let it sink.” By remaining in the UN, both the US and Israel undermine what is most needed in this nihilistic age, moral clarity.
Moral clarity is especially needed with respect to Islam, which Bat Ye’or called a “culture of hate,” but which, for that reason, may be called a “culture of evil.” What else can be said of Iran, the emerging superpower of the Middle East, that preaches “death to America” and “death to Israel”? What else can be said of Saudi Arabia, which finances terrorist groups to implement these maledictions?

Irena Sendler, Nobel Peace Price nominee, saved over 2,500 Jewish babies and children from the fate of most Warsaw Ghetto Jews
There recently was the death of a 98-year-old lady named Irena Sendler. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an ulterior motive… She KNEW what the Nazi’s plans were for the Jews, (being German).
Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of her tool box she carried, and she also carried in the back of her truck a Burlap sack, (for larger kids). She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers, of course, wanted nothing to do with the dog, and the barking covered the kids/infants noises. During her time and course of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants.
She was caught, and the Nazi’s broke both her legs and arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard.
After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it, and reunited the family. Most, of course, had been gassed. Those kids she helped were placed into foster family homes or adopted. Last year Irena was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize….

Reminds me of a small, obviously underfunded Holocaust museum I once visited in Israel. It was a moldering, sad little place, but it had one display I will always remember: A jacket.
A Nazi had forced a Jewish tailor/prisoner to use the Torah as lining for his jacket, obviously thinking himself clever in his cruelty, forcing the desecration of our most treasured, holy possession.

It is one of the best movies the year IMHO. If it is playing around you in a theater, you should go see it. If it is not playing around you, download it from your favorite torrent site. It is so good I am sure you will buy the DVD or Blue-Ray. This movie made the top 10 pirated movies of 2008 (it was there but now it appears only in the top 10 of the week), so I am sure there are good copies out there. It is a must see IMHO. I wish Hollywood made good movies like this more often.

On the heels of John McCain’s strong statement to Israel and the Jews that he would “not allow a second Holocaust” to happen, Barack Hussein Obama was asked whether he’d prevent a second Holocaust by reporters during his trip to Israel.
The setting for the question is notable. It was just before he made a photo op visit to “Yad VaShem,” the Holocaust museum in Israel.
What is also notable was Obama’s “response” and how it was “covered” by the Mainstream media. While the Wall Street Journal’s Jay Solomon and Cam Simpson noted the question, they did not note the response. Why not?

Jake Tapper goes on to quote Obama’s BS speech about how terrible he feels about the Holocaust. Blah, blah, blah. Then, this:

Disgusting. The question is a no-brainer. If you don’t have an automatic, “I will assure that there won’t be a second Holocaust,” response, then you don’t deserve to occupy a square foot of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
John McCain initiated the conversation about a second Holocaust, brining it up himself and saying he’ll assure it won’t happen. Barack Obama had to be asked, and he still couldn’t bring himself to answer.

King County Superior Court Judge Paris Kallas ended the jury’s deliberations in their eighth day.
The jurors reached a partial verdict on only one of the 15 counts against Haq, finding him not guilty of attempted first-degree murder of one of the women. But they couldn’t agree on the lesser charge of attempted second-degree murder or any of the other 14 charges, which included murder.
Haq held a teenage girl at gunpoint to force his way into the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle on July 28, 2006. Once in the second-floor office, he began railing against U.S. policies and opened fire when someone tried to call 911. He shot some people in their cubicles, some in the hall and one, Pamela Waechter, fatally as she fled down a stairwell.
An emergency operator eventually persuaded him to surrender.
Prosecutors quickly announced that they hope to retry Haq this year, and representatives of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle expressed their disappointment at the mistrial.
“There is no argument Haq killed Pam. There is no argument he viciously shot five others. There is no argument that he made anti-Israel and anti-Semitic statements. Somehow, all this was not enough,” Jewish Federation President Richard Fruchter said.

Sorry blog readers for not updating my blog this week. Last sunday I walked by this horrific event. It was set up in a major walking intersection where tens of thosands of people read the anti semitic lies. You might think it is just Anti Zionistic but even the state department came out with a report on how Anti Zionism is anti semitic.
Well I see the righting on the wall europe is now like Germany in 1938 for Jews and America is in like Germany in 1936. I think we reached past the threshold point. Enough lies are being spread about Israel and the jewish people in the media, learning institutions, and religious groups to poison the minds of several generations with hate. I can no longer talk to one of my best friends from college due to having him see no problem with Iran getting a nuke and his anti Israel views.
Every passover we say “in every generation they rise up against us to destroy us.” I never thought that to be true till now. Too many people think Revered Write and Carter are right. Rice talks about making parts of Israel Jewish Free zones it will be only a couple of years the way thing are going now before that starts happening here.
The sad thing is there is no place to really go. Olmert wants to trade jewish land and give terrorist guns so they have land and weapons in order to kill more jews on. Just look what happened to the disengagement from Gaza. The definition of insanity is making the same mistake over and over again and not learning from it. But I guess Israel is the safest place in the world to go now, despite Iran putting tons of its resources in developing a nuke to destroy Israel and the oil nations in funding terrorist to try to destroy it.
Well I guess that is enough for my rant. Hopefully after shabbat I will build up enough energy to try to blog and finish up a video I have been editing. I just don’t see much hope in turing the tide and saving the western world from turning into an Islomo-fasicist state or nazi like backlash from letting the jihadis infiltrate and try to take over this once great nation.
