Is all Islam radical?

I heard the great Geert Wilders speak today. He is amazing and a hero IMHO. But I disagree with one thing. He said something like there is no moderate Islam but their are some radical muslims. I disagree. I know most of the poster on here agree with Wilders. They all might be right. I just hope there is a moderate form of Islam. I have not seen it yet. Am I right? 

Here is Fitna. A must see for everyone. I think the graphics are way dated but the clips and the message are amazing IMHO.

This is a great movie. I highly recommend it. I think it is better than Fitna. What do you think? If you like it you should buy it.

Fitna the Movie (New Version 4-4-2008)

I think it is pathetic the cartoonist made them change the cartoon. But I guess life goes on.

This is the new version of Fitna(04/04/08). It has removed the cartoon made famous by Kurt Westergaard and replaced it with an original work by Scarlet Pimpernel, as well he has replaced the picture of Salah Edin with the real Mohammed Bouyeri.

I think Islam: What the west needs to know is a better movie. I just got my new computer and I am still setting up my video editing tools so I can edit my version of Fitna. Hopefully it will be done by next week. To watch the original version click here.

Here we go again: point out that jihadists use the Qur’an to justify violence, and the immediate response is, ‘Well, the Bible is violent, too.’ This ignores that fact that not only the Qur’an but also the Hadith and the schools of jurisprudence teach warfare against and the subjugation of unbelievers, while no Jewish or Christian sects teach those things. It also ignores the fact that while there are armed Islamic groups in many countries pursuing this supremacist agenda, there are no Jewish or Christian groups committing violence and justifying it according to Bible verses — although this Iranian group claims to have footage of such groups.

Even if it does — even if there are armed Christian groups committing violent acts and justifying them by reference to Bible verses — would this relieve us of the obligation to do something about the Islamic groups that use the Qur’an to justify violence?

And will this project fare better than this one?

TEHRAN (FNA)- A Non-Governmental Organization in Iran has started production of a documentary called ‘Beyond Fitna’ to respond to far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders’ provocative dissertation ‘Fitna’.

The Iranian organization called ‘NGO Islam and Christianity’ started production of the documentary after the Dutch lawmaker displayed his movie which urges Muslims to tear out ‘hate-filled’ verses from the Qoran and starts and finishes with an insulting cartoon of Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The NGO’s documentary called ‘Beyond Fitna’ deals with incitement of violence in the Bible. Muslims believe that the book deemed holy by Christians today is a distorted version of the original Bible.

‘Beyond Fitna’ focuses on the orders given to worldwide Christians in the (distorted version of) Bible for stoking violence, committing genocide, attacking others, beheading and burning women and children who have been taken into captivity.

The documentary recycles film clips from crimes committed by extremist Christians under the inspirations of the said Bible teachings, and aims to provide a response to the allegations made by Pope Benedict XVI, who called Islam a religion of violence after misunderstanding certain Organic [sic! sic!] verses….

I will be very interested to see those ‘film clips from crimes committed by extremist Christians under the inspirations of the said Bible teachings.’ If they are authentic, they will be from fringe groups that claim to be Christian but whose teachings are repudiated by all mainstream Christian sects. The situation is very different in Islam, where all the sects and schools of jurisprudence teach the necessity of warfare against unbelievers.

Oh, and one other thing: if this film comes out, I guarantee you: no Christians will riot, or rage against free speech.

Fitna the Movie: Geert Wilders’ film about the Quran (English)

I think this is it. Even if it is not it is a great movie. I backed up a copy so please leave a comment to tell me if it is down. I will re-upload it. I think that Fitna was really tame and I think he did it for a reason to appeal to the liberals. Notice how he pointed out the treatment of women and gays. I think the movie is a trap for Islam because they are going to cause violence and protest over him standing up for the rights of people that have been persecuted in the past.

I don’t agree what he says about the Torah. I think it is more out of a lack of knowledge instead of anti-semitism. But I think he is right on with what he is saying about Islam and sharia.
