If you want a look at exactly what transpired over the weekend at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), you have to look no further than this CPAC panel on Saturday organized by Suhail Khan, where panelists CJ Jordan of the National Black Republican Leadership Council and another panelist, recommend outreach to the racist Nation of Islam (Louis Farrakhan) and La Raza (literally, “The Race”). This is also the same session where Suhail Khan, a board member of the American Conservative Union (which organizes CPAC), made the laughable claim that “there is no Muslim Brotherhood in the United States“.

Yesterday Roger Kimball at Pajamas Media had a piece on the controversy surrounding CPAC and the American Conservative Union’s board member Suhail Khan. See a lot more on Khan’s troubling associations here, here andhere.

An alarming prospect: a widespread movement bent on destroying the Constitution and replacing it with Islamic law. Is that overstated? On the contrary, that’s what the Muslim Brotherhood is all about. Here, for example, is a key passage from the 1991 “Explanatory Memorandum” on the Brotherhood’s “strategic goals” for North America. It was written by Mohamed Akram, then a central Muslim Brotherhood leader in the U.S.:

[T]heir work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. (my emphasis)

Remember this anti-FBI propaganda posted on terror-linked CAIR’s website a few days ago?

It turns out that the mother of Suhail Khan – the so-called “conservative” Muslim being exposed for his terrorist ties – is an executive member of the CAIR chapter who produced the poster.
Who is Suhail Khan?
Mr. Khan’s mother works for CAIR, and is listed alongside Ahmad as a member of the executive committee of CAIR’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter. Malika Khan’s chapter last week put up a poster on its website advising Muslims: “Don’t talk to the FBI,” and “build a wall of resistance” against law enforcement.
But that’s not all. According to the “Contra Costa Times” and other local press, Mr. Khan’s family mosque has hosted several Taliban supporters, while raising money — unwittingly or not — for Hamas through its U.S. charitable front, the Holy Land Foundation. The mosque happens to be held in trust by another unindicted Holy Land co-conspirator — the North American Islamic Trust. The government recently blacklisted Saudi-funded NAIT as part of the Hamas fundraising conspiracy. It also happens to be the banker to the Muslim Brotherhood network in America.
But it’s not just the mosque that’s a concern. Mr. Khan’s father also founded the Santa Clara-based American Muslims for Global Peace and Justice, whose chairman defended the Taliban even after 9/11, according to the Associated Press. So what “peace” and what “justice” are we talking about here?
Despite these troubling family ties, Mr. Khan has vowed to carry on his “dear father’s shining legacy,” as he calls it. Before his conviction on terror charges, top Muslim Brotherhood leader Alamoudi said he hoped to see this “son of a dear, dear Brother” in the White House one day as “vice president … Allah Akbar!”
That should give everyone in Washington pause.

The video below shows the relationship between Suhail Khan and his mentor, the convicted Al Qaeda terrorist conspirator Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi. The nexus connecting them also includes Ayman al-Zawahiri, Mr. Khan’s late father Mahboob, and the Republican Party.

Jihadis are taking over CPAC

I understand and agree with why Geller and other anti Jihadis are going. But shame on anyone else that goes shame on you for giving jihadis control over there opposition. I fear that the republican party is turning into the Jihadi control conservative party of Britain. Suhail Khan is a jihadi. Norquist is a dhimmi. An he does not belong anywhere near other conservatives IMHO. We need more Allen West and less Suhail Khan IMHO. I agree with Geller here “I think that the conservatives pulling out of CPAC because of the inclusion of the gay rights group, GOProud, are wrong. FOX has a long piece on the whole ugly business, but I stand by my position on the infiltration of ACU and CPAC by Islamic supremacists and its resulting damage.”

Conservative Conference Beset By Accusations of Pro-Gay Takeover, Muslim Agenda FOX

Critics like Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy, Pamela Geller from the website Atlas Shrugs and Robert Spencer from Jihad Watch are among critics who accuse Americans for Tax Reform chief Grover Norquist, who is also on the CPAC board and an ally of Khan, of being too biased in favor of radical Muslim activists.

They say Norquist and Khan are unduly influencing the CPAC agenda, proving the organization is not serious about the threat of Muslim extremism.

“I have long been aware of the stealth Islamization of CPAC leadership, but held my events there in the hopes that we might snatch back leadership,” Geller recently wrote on her website. “David Keene has stacked the board with Islamic supremacists, and their chief diabolical Islamic apologist is none other than the infamous Grover Norquist.”

Norquist did not return calls or e-mails for comment, but Khan, a former White House staffer and Republican congressional aide, told FOXNews.com that he is used to the attacks. He said the unsubstantiated accusations against him first emerged after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks when he was working in the Bush White House.

Khan is now a fellow at the Center for Global Engagement working on religious outreach. He said he is the only board member that was elected by the wider ACU membership and enjoys strong support from fellow conservatives.

“The (accusations) are completely false, there is no merit to them,” Khan said. “I’m just grateful that the vast majority of conservatives at-large know me as a life-long Reagan conservative who has dedicated his life to individual liberty, limited government and a strong defense. This has not been a controversy internally.”

According to CPAC organizers, at least one panel is scheduled on Islamic Sharia law and the debate over its creeping influence in Western societies, including the United States.

Jordan Marks, executive director of the Young America Foundation (YAF), which co-founded CPAC nearly 40 years ago, said when it comes down to it, most young people coming to the three-day event won’t be aware — or care — about of the infighting and the controversies.

It is like haveing Obama at CPAC spreading this nonsense

Obviously, we haven’t gotten it closed.  And let me just step back and explain that the reason for wanting to close Guantanamo was because my number one priority is keeping the American people safe.  One of the most powerful tools we have to keep the American people safe is not providing al Qaeda and jihadists recruiting tools for fledgling terrorists.

And Guantanamo is probably the number one recruitment tool that is used by these jihadist organizations.  And we see it in the websites that they put up.  We see it in the messages that they’re delivering.

 

Mark Levin writes a post about CPAC and how Glenn Beck is Wrong

I agree with Mark Levin. But I think calling Glenn Beck Hitler  like what CJ did at LGF is wrong. (Mark Levin did not do that. Nor would anyone that is not crazy do so)

I was invited to be the opening speaker at Saturday’s CPAC session. I had accepted but then, to my amazement, I learned that the John Birch Society would be one of many co-sponsors. This takes the big-tent idea many steps too far for me. So, I withdrew. Apparently, others were not so moved. That’s fine. But it wasn’t for me. Bill Buckley and Barry Goldwater, among others, chased the Birchers from the movement decades ago. And they’re not a part of the movement. So, to give them a booth at CPAC was boneheaded.

How did Ron Paul cheat on the straw pool in CPAC?

Ron Paul I guess is semi sane on domestic policies. But he is insane on Foreign policies. He thinks the jihadis do not want to destroy us and is a big anti Semite.I do not think a large percent of CPAC supports that nut.  So why did he win. I think he cheated. Just wondering how. I heard less than half the people voted. But still I guess a Ron Paul nut or two made some fake ballots. Anyone have an inside story on this?
