The four men imprisoned for killing Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl were not present during his beheading but were convicted of murder because Pakistani authorities knowingly relied on perjured testimony and ignored other leads, says a report released Thursday.

The results of the Pearl Project, an investigation carried out by a team of American journalists and students and spanning more than three years, raise troubling questions about Pakistan’s dysfunctional criminal justice system and underscore the limits US officials face in relying on Pakistani authorities.

America Moves Towards Abandonment of Israel

That headline certainly took me from my Schijveschuurder high. Here I was, thrilled that the terror victims in Israel were banding together and maybe even getting some results, some respect for all their tremendous suffering.

And that’s still really good, very important.

But this latest Arutz Sheva report by the INN staff is causing no small amount of dismay.

“In an interview on Israel National Radio’s Weekend Edition with host Tamar Yonah, Hagman said.’The Obama administration is no friend to Israel, is no friend to the Jews in America and is no friend to democracy or freedom in America. Just by his very appointments, we can see him filling positions of power with people who are anti-Semitic, who want to see Israel essentially dissolved as a nation, if not by diplomacy, then certainly by war.’”

Sounds like an important interview. I’m going to go have a listen.

Jihad = Mein Kampf – Part 1

In Arabic, “jihad” literally means “self-struggle”. So, say apologists for Islam. That is the soft definition, meant to soften us. Allowing ourselves to become entangled in politically correct ideas and language is meant to disarm us, to weaken our resolve to defend ourselves and our way of  life.

Jihad refers to the Muslim’s internal struggle. We are meant to think the concept of “jihad’ is solely about an internal, spiritual struggle. No. This is only part of the truth, says Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist in part 3 of this series.  He goes on to tell us that “Mein Kampf” also means “my struggle”. He then asks us, what and who, was Hitler struggling against? Who are the jihadis struggling against?

Below are some quotes from parts of the video series entitled Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West, a 10 part series found on Youtube. I chose quotes which I thought demonstrate the connection between the concept of “jihad”, the Muslim’s struggle against the Jewish people, the West, and all non-Muslims, all moderate Muslims, and “Mein Kampf”, Hitler’s struggle against the Jewish people and all who refused to submit to his view of things.

Mein Kampf is a runaway bestseller in some Muslim controlled regions, such as the Palestinian administered territories.

Exclusive: Ahmadinejad denies al Qaeda’s 9/11 attack on America: In his most provocative anti-US speech to date, Iran’s president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad raised doubts about whether al Qaeda’s Sept. 11, 2001 attack on New York actually took place. He was addressing Iran’s Nuclear Technology day, April 8, DEBKAfile’s Iranian sources report. He went on to ask why the US had never released the names of the thousands of dead in the Trade Center attacks and how the most advanced security, intelligence and tracking devices in the world had failed to detect the hijackers’ planes before they struck the two New York towers.
Ahmadinejad is famous also for denying the Nazi Holocaust.
Announcing earlier that Iran had begun installing 6,000 new advanced (P2) centrifuges for uranium enrichment at Natanz, the Iranian president claimed his country’s nuclear program had passed the point of no-return technologically and politically.
America is disintegrating politically, militarily and economically, according to Ahmadinejad, who boasted that Iran’s nuclear achievement is a turning-point in history that will change the international order prevailing since World War II.

DEBKAfile adds: By going full steam ahead with uranium enrichment, Iran is flouting three UN Security Council resolutions and standing fast against threats, sanctions and incentives offered by the West to halt a process capable of producing nuclear weapons.
Instead, Tehran is installing a new generation of advanced P2 centrifuges to replace the older P-1 machines and accelerate enrichment. He claims they are five times cheaper than the commercial machines.
The five Security Council members and Germany meet later this month for their umpteenth discussion on Iran’s nuclear activities. However, aside from “sweetening” their incentives package and tighter sanctions, they have run out of ideas for curbing Iran’s rapidly-advancing nuclear plans
