If you want a look at exactly what transpired over the weekend at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), you have to look no further than this CPAC panel on Saturday organized by Suhail Khan, where panelists CJ Jordan of the National Black Republican Leadership Council and another panelist, recommend outreach to the racist Nation of Islam (Louis Farrakhan) and La Raza (literally, “The Race”). This is also the same session where Suhail Khan, a board member of the American Conservative Union (which organizes CPAC), made the laughable claim that “there is no Muslim Brotherhood in the United States“.
If you would like to offer your thoughts to the board of directors of the American Conservative Union about letting Louis Farrakhan and La Raza into the Suhail Khan’s “big tent”, please contact them at the email addresses below the fold or use the contact form on their website:
Madison, WI] As tens of thousands of public employees skipped work this week to attend protest rallies outside the Wisconsin State Capitol, many wondered if they would face any disciplinary action for unexcused absences.
On Saturday, a group of men and women in lab coats purporting to be doctors were handing out medical excuse notes, without examining the ‘patients.’
“I asked this doctor what he was doing and he told me they were handing out excuses to people who were feeling sick due to emotional, mental or financial distress,” said Christian Hartsock. “They never performed an exam–he asked me how I was feeling today and I said I’m from California and I’m not used to the cold, so he handed me a note.”
MacIver News Service – For the first time in history, the average annual compensation for a teacher in the Milwaukee Public School system will exceed $100,000.
That staggering figure was revealed last night at a meeting of the MPS School Board.
The average salary for an MPS teacher is $56,500. When fringe benefits are factored in, the annual compensation will be $100,005 in 2011.
MacIver’s Bill Osmulski has more in this video report.
Yusuf al-Qaradawi, an influential Muslim Brotherhood theologian, promises to be in Egypt’s Tahrir Square to deliver a sermon at Friday’s prayer service.
Qaradawi, who has lived in Qatar since 1961, was a vocal critic of deposed Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. A profile this week in Germany’s Der Spiegel called him the Muslim Brotherhood’s “father figure.”
But his return is being touted as a reward for “Qaradawi’s role in mobilizing support for the Egyptian revolution,” a claim which is questionable at best.
It won’t be the first time Qaradawi has been back to Egypt, but his visits have been fleeting. A sermon from him on the first Friday after Mubarak’s ouster could be hugely symbolic as the Brotherhood tries to exert influence over the direction Egyptian society takes. And it will trigger memories of the 1979 Iranian revolution, which took a dramatic turn when Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned from exile in France.
Egypt’s revolution has been described as largely spontaneous, fueled by a building rage brought on by years of oppression, inspired by a Facebook page created by Google executive Wael Ghonim devoted to a man killed by security forces and ignited by the peaceful Tunisian revolt, which showed change was possible.
If anything, the Muslim Brotherhood deliberately took a low profile during the uprising, not wanting to play into Mubarak’s narrative that his ouster would lead to chaos in Egypt. But a statement Monday from Qaradawi’s International Union of Muslim Scholars said he “initiated the beginning of the Friday of wrath 28/01/2011 by shouting out loud, ‘Go, Mubarak, safeguard the blood and protect the people of Egypt.’”
The Brotherhood confirmed Qaradawi’s role in Friday’s events, saying he “will address the celebrators on the importance of the role of all Egyptians in building a free and democratic Egypt.”
From http://holgerawakens.blogspot.com/2011/02/breaking-wisconsin-public-sector-union.html Following through on the theme of the Left’s accusations that the Tea Party movement is racist, I ask you to look at the following photographs of the protests and demonstrations taking place in Madison, Wisconsin by public sector union members. As you can see, these unions are OBVIOUSLY racist in nature…I mean, seriously, where are there ANY black people present in these unions here??!!
PS Rachel Madcow and other libtards this is satire. But since liberals historically have been racist KKK, Sanger, and many others. It might be true.
The Rafah crossing links Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula to the Gaza Strip, which is run by Hamas. It was the first time the crossing had been opened since President Hosni Mubarak was toppled a week ago.
Supposedly, this is a one-way thing now. Just from Egypt to Gaza.
And hey, Reuters…… “Palestinians” ? There is no nation called Palestine. Oh right, I forgot…… The agenda…… How silly of me to think reportage would be honest
My proposition is that liberalism — or Statism — is inherently immoral. It is inherently immoral. Any philosophy that has, at its core, the belief that thievery is a virtue — is immoral.
If you steal from a bank, that is, you rob a bank but you intend to use that money to feed the homeless — the act of robbing is still immoral. You’ve taken somebody else’s money. Perhaps taken it from people of modest means to advance a belief that you have.
A liberal may be moral in his or her own life, of course. They may be honorable and ethical in all they do personally, of course.
But then to support a political philosophy that seeks to do that which is immoral when done outside the realm of government — that is, stealing— then what is that?
How can that be moral? To vote to put people in office who campaign on stealing — who campaign on stealing — to oversee such an agenda, which promotes a fundamental power-grab, to confiscate somebody else’s property and to assign to some other use, is that not an immoral act? Whatever that use may be? I’m not done: Liberalism is inherently immoral.
When you run up deficits — and I don’t just mean Democrats, liberal Republicans too — when you run up deficits that are so massive, that you create a crisis and that crisis gets worse and worse and could destabilize our society someday soon… and could destroy the opportunities for our children and our grandchildren one day, is that moral?
No, that’s immoral.
If you keep telling people that pay into Social Security that they’re paying into a non-existent trust fund, and if you keep voting time and time again to use the money that’s supposed to be put aside for Social Security to pay for every-expanding programs and spending for other things… then is not the act of lying — not just lying once, but lying repeatedly, lying as a matter of philosophy, is that not immoral?
Yes, it’s immoral.
Liberalism is inherently immoral. And there’s no getting around it.
You can hear this debate around Obamacare. Look at the statistics that have been knowingly used to promote a lie: that adding 30 million more people to health care, massively increasing the federal government’s role, massively increasing subsidies, will cut the deficit?
That’s a lie. And it’s immoral. And it’s immoral to keep saying it.
From Myths & Facts of Tomorrow’s UN Security Council Settlements Vote
The UN Security Council’s meeting tomorrow to vote on a resolution against Israeli settlement activity. It’s time to clear up a few myths out there.
Myth: A US veto will spark Arab rage.
Fact: Arab Days of Rage are trendy, but none are directed at Israel.
Myth: The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the biggest source of regional instability.
Fact: The biggest sources of regional instability are the Arab autocrats who repress freedom and the Islamic radicals who want to fill the vacuum.
Myth: A veto will lead to America’s isolation.
Fact: Isolated by who? The Arabs on the receiving end of US aid, the Arabs who fear Iranian hegemony, or the Arabs who are ruled by despots and don’t represent their people anyway?
Myth: The world will benefit from having Israel put in it’s place.
Fact: Arab leaders are desperate for any kind of distraction. A condemnation might buy Abbas some time. But no Arab – not even the Palestinians – will trade away liberty, democracy, voting, free speech, education, health, or pursuit of happiness for a UN resolution.
Myth: The Palestinian issue must not be relegated to the back-burner.
Fact: Irrelevant. The Palestinians hit the back-burner when Tunisian fruit seller Mohamed Bouazizi lit the match that set himself and the rest of the Arab world on fire. Too late.
Barack Obama defended the public employee union thugs today. Under Republican Governor Scott Walker’s plan, public employees would have to increase their pension payments by 8%. This is not even close to what private employees pay. The unions would also strip government workers, including school teachers, of nearly all collective bargaining rights.
Scott Walker is a hero.

“Some of what I’ve heard coming out of Wisconsin, where you’re just making it harder for public employees to collectively bargain generally, seems like more of an assault on unions,” President Obama told TMJ4 in Milwaukee.
Governor Scott Walker (R-WI) said Friday his proposals were necessary to help the state overcome the $137 million hole in the current budget, and eventually help the state make up the $3.6 billion shortfall projected for the next biennial budget.
Of course, talking to Obama about deficits and debt is like talking to 5 year-old child about Chinese algebra.
Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way.
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. Allahu akbar!”
The Brotherhood’s goal is to turn the world into an Islamist empire. The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in Egypt in 1928, is a revolutionary fundamentalist movement to restore the caliphate and strict shariah (Islamist) law in Muslim lands and, ultimately, the world. Today, it has chapters in 80 countries.
“It is in the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.” —Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna
· The Brotherhood wants America to fall. It tells followers to be “patient” because America “is heading towards its demise.” The U.S. is an infidel that “does not champion moral and human values and cannot lead humanity.” —Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi, Sept. 2010
· The Brotherhood claims western democracy is “corrupt,” “unrealistic.” and “false.”
—Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef
· The Brotherhood calls for jihad against “the Muslim’s real enemies, not only Israel but also the United States. Waging jihad against both of these infidels is a commandment of Allah that cannot be disregarded.” —Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi, Sept. 2010
· The Brotherhood assassinated Anwar Sadat in 1981 for making peace with the hated “Zionist entity.” It also assassinated Egypt’s prime minister in 1948 and attempted to assassinate President Nasser in 1954.
· Hamas is a “wing of the Muslim Brotherhood,” according to the Hamas Charter, Chapter 2. The Charter calls for the murder of Jews, the “obliteration” of Israel and its replacement with an Islamist theocracy.
/Islamist-allied operatives appointed by Obama are undermining U.S. security policy – explains counter-Intelligence expert, Prof. Clare Lopez. Aimed at co-opting Americas foreign policy in the Middle East, a network including well-known American diplomats, congressional representatives, figures from academia and the think tank world – with ties to the clerical regime in Tehran – is directing the Obama Administration’s policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Middle East.
Lara Logan is lucky she’s alive.
Her liberal belief system almost got her killed on Friday. This talented reporter will never be the same.
Why did this attractive blonde female reporter wander into Tahrir Square last Friday? Why would she think this was a good idea? Did she not see the violence in the square the last three weeks? Did she not see the rock throwing? Did she miss the camels? Did her colleagues tell her about the Western journalists who were viciously assaulted on the Square? Did she forget about the taunts from the Egyptian thugs the day before? What was she thinking? Was it her political correctness that about got her killed? Did she think things would be different for her?
CBS News says Lara Logan, shown covering the reaction in Cairo’s Tahrir Square the day Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, was attacked Friday and suffered a brutal beating and sexual assault before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. (AOL.com)
Peaceful Egyptian protesters screamed “Jew! Jew!” as they beat and sexually assaulted CBS reporter Lara Logan at Tahrir Square last Friday.
