Remember that time when abysmal failure Gen. Kieth Dayton – sent to Gaza by the State Department to arm and train Fatah forces - abrasively brushed off Israeli concerns about making concessions and giving weapons to weak Palestinian forces? And then when those same concerns were aired in Congress he became a sarcastic prick and blamed Israel? And then Israeli scenarios played out exactly how Israeli security officials said they would, with Hamas easily rolling Fatah and capturing 200 tonsof US weapons and explosives?
Hamas representatives claimed on Sunday that their militiamen were fighting against IDF troops in the Gaza Strip with weapons confiscated from the Palestinian Authority in the summer of 2007. They said Hamas had managed to lay its hands on all the weapons that Israel, the US and other countries had given forces loyal to PA President Mahmoud Abbas. Hamas had also seized dozens of armored vehicles used by Abbas’s security forces, they added. After its men took full control of the Gaza Strip in 2007, Hamas announced that it had seized tens of thousands of rifles and pistols, including heavy machine guns, night-vision goggles and bulletproof vests, as well as vast amounts of ammunition. Sources close to Hamas also claimed that dozens of members of the rival Aksa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah, had volunteered to fight alongside Hamas units.
That part about Hamas using US weapons to kill Israelis is ancient news and those “Aksa Brigrades” rumors are at least partly true. You’d think all this would have caused even a second’s hesitation before moving Dayton to the West Bank to try the exact same thing. Not so much.
Dayton, by the by, is one of three retired State Department generals in the Palestinian territories. That’s one general per two million people. Or, alternatively, “more than we have in the vast majority of NATO countries.” And just look at the dividends it’s paid off!
elderofziyon elaborates on how the UN resolution was drafted in lock steps with Hamas agenda. My question, why did Bush not veto? Did he already give away his office to the messiah who wishes to toast champagne with Hamas?
The UN passed a cease-fire resolution that Hamas can wholeheartedly support, according to its own twisted logic. Itis a shame that the US couldn’t see through the diplo-speak to understand this enough to block it.
Let’s look at how Hamas will interpret UN Security Council Resolution 1860:
1. The Security Council stresses the urgency of and calls for an immediate, durable and fully respected ceasefire, leading to the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
They will never tell you that the good doctor tended to Paris’ North African community, which is overwhelmingly Muslim. One of his patients probably murdered him. No leads, no suspects …. yeah right. Wouldn’t want to set up any riots by arresting a perp for murdering a Jew,eh? Read the rest of this entry »
Watch the video to see Ellision lie on a Jihadi Network. WARNING: It made me sick. Wow he is really evil or brainwashed. I can not believe he supports Hamas and he does not support Israel to defend itself.
Everyone seems to be jumping on the anti-Israel bandwagon. IT’s becoming “cool” among the left. Kieth Ellison is a given of course since he’s Muslim. I would like to see ONE Muslim moderate SOMEWHERE in the USA stand up and support Israel…just one.
“The people who have a strong sympathy for the Israeli position are … dominate the conversation. And it’s really not politically safe to say, look, there are two sides to this, and Israel has not been a angel in this, and certainly there have been people on the Palestinian side who have not contributed to a constructive solution.”
Amid a U.N. shipment of “humanitarian aid” for the people of Gaza, inspectors found 38 pallets of military style uniforms:
Hidden in one of the emergency aid shipments supposed to go into the Gaza strip during the 3 hour lull in fighting, were 38 pallets of camo uniforms, green military sweaters and black fatigues. This is one of the emergency shipments intended to bring medical supplies and food to the people who need it so badly. Half the trucks brining the stuff in are UN. Half the trucks are private. I’m not certain which trucks were hauling the uniforms. They had been off loaded when I got there. The whole thing is under investigation.
38 pallets equals hundreds, if not thousands, of uniforms.
So, not only does the U.N. allow militants to use U.N. property to launch attacks, they are supplying uniforms (and who knows what else) to terrorists.
Yesssss! Finally, a nation has the balls to tell Ban Ki-Moon and the conglomeration of the worthless at the United Nations to shove it. The U.N. Security voted 14-0 to adopt a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas (the U.S. abstained from voting) but the Israelis have told the U.N. that they could care less. Here’s a bit more detail on the Israeli response via Breitbart:
In Israel’s first official response to the U.N. Security Council resolution, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s office said Israel “has never agreed to let an external body decide its right to protect the security of its citizens.”
The military “will continue acting to protect Israeli citizens and will carry out the missions it was given,” the statement read. The rockets fell in Israel on Friday “only prove that the U.N.’s decision is not practical and will not be kept in practice by the Palestinian murder organizations.”
This isn’t surprising for Israel – they know all too well how they got hosed by the U.N. in 2006 with the arrangements that were agreed upon to end the War in Lebanon.
By the way, Hamas declined on the resolution as well saying:
I refuse to excerpt and link to the terrorsit supporting scum at The Guardian. I found this link at the Drudge Report. This does not surprise me at all. Obama wrote in his autobiography that he will support the Muslims over the Jews. Obama is scum and he will “talk” to the worst Jihadis out there.
WARNING THE GUARDIAN SUPPORTS JIHADIS. TAKE EVERYTHING THE GUARDIAN SAYS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. I BELIEVE ISRAEL DESERVES THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF, WHILE THE GUARDIAN DOES NOT.

How does one know that the feeling they get comes from Hashem not the Yetzah Hora? I know this is not coving Gaza but I have been thinking a lot today and I want a good answer. I am getting enough people reading my blog so maybe one of you knows. I can’t believe thousands of people want to read my writing everyday. I do not think I can post so much everyday. Should I get some one to do around 5 great posts or a once in a while really intriguing post is better from me? There are some people I respect on the left should I invite a lefty to blog? I do not personally care where you stand as long as you see the Jihadis the greatest evil to free society. I am not condemning the billion plus muslims;. I am against the Islamo-fascist. Tomorrow the U.N. Human Rights Council will meet in emergency session on the proposal by Arab states and their allies to “strongly condemn” Israel for daring to defend its citizenry from Hamas rockets.
The official subject of the meeting, initiated by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Russia, and other countries not exactly known for stellar human rights records, is “The Grave Violations of Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory including the recent aggression of the occupied Gaza Strip.”
The proposed resolution “strongly condemns” Israel’s actions — yet says not a word about Hamas, a terrorist organization that has fired thousands of rockets and missiles against civilians in the cities of Ashkelon, Beersheba, and Sderot.
By seeking to criminalize Israeli self-defense, and implicitly to legitimize Hamas terrorism, the text itself is a violation of human rights.
U.N. resolutions matter. They are translated into every language, govern the discourse of international relations and human rights, and influence masses around the globe.
Make no mistake: Iran, Syria, and Hamas will take note of this resolution, and especially of how European Union states vote. As documented by UN Watch in a November 2007 report, anti-Israel U.N. resolutions are routinely cited by Middle East extremists to convince their audiences that the world is with them.
Please help us ensure the E.U. will live up to its principles tomorrow by voting No to this one-sided resolution.
To do otherwise would only encourage the dark forces that—from Mumbai to Madrid to Sderot—seek to destroy our democratic civilization and way of life.
“There are images that break your heart. The news is filled with them today and they can easily sway you to think that all of the situation in the Middle East comes down to a picture. How horrible, truly tragic, unacceptable and wrong it is to have a child die.” Read the rest
Israeli watchdog group NGO Monitor has noted that one of the foreign media’s favorite Gaza-based interviewees, Norwegian physician Mads Gilbert, is a man with an extremist political past.
Gilbert has been quoted widely, including in a Times of London article where he told friends by SMS, “We are wading in death, blood and amputees. Many children. A pregnant woman. I have never experienced anything so terrible.”
Gilbert also used a BBC interview from Gaza’s Shifa Hospital to cite casualty statistics that he said proved the IDF was deliberately targeting civilians.
According to NGO Monitor, however, Gilbert’s past is indicative of “ideological extremism,” such as when he expressed support for the September 11 attacks on the United States in a 2001 interview in Norway’s Dagbladet newspaper.
In the interview, he argued that “the oppressed also have a moral right to attack the USA with any weapon they can come up with,” adding specifically that he supported the terror attack “within the context which I have mentioned.”
Gilbert was also a candidate for local government in 2007 for the Norwegian Red Party, an outgrowth of the radical Norwegian Workers’ Communist Party.
An Israeli government official also told the Post that “there is no way [Gilbert] could have personal access to the kind of statistics he cited. He got them from the Gaza Health Ministry, which is controlled by Hamas. That raises the question: To what extent is he a willing or unwilling mouthpiece for Hamas?”
How is one to know the difference beaten Yezha Hora and Hashem? I asked a couple of Rabbis but they seem not no know
